The Croft Day Nursery is a warm and friendly nursery with a homelike atmosphere where children feel happy and confident.

They have highly qualified, caring staff that support the children to learn through a varied, well-planned curriculum, based on the early years foundation stage. A positive, stimulating environment where play can develop and inspire.

You could not wish to find a more nurturing and loving preschool. A wonderful day care, very knowledgeable, friendly staff who really care. Our little one loves going to preschool, even on weekends she is asking if we're going to drop her to nursery to see her friends. I would highly recommend, we are
so happy with our choice.

The overwhelmingly positive reviews say a lot about the nursery. I moved my two children across from another nursery in September 2017. My son was 3 and my daughter 8 months old and it was the best thing I could have done for them. The Croft is absolutely fantastic. It is bright, very clean, welcoming
and you can tell that the staff enjoy being there which, in my opinion, is key to the children's well being. My daughter has multiple food allergies and this is managed wonderfully, I have no complaints. She has made her way from the baby room through to the 2 plus room and is thriving. Her key worker is absolutely fantastic and she has built wonderful relationships with other staff members and children. A year and a half after leaving, my son is still excited about dropping in to pick his sister up. It's a wonderful setting and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

The Croft is amazing, the best nursey we have ever experienced. The care is excellent, amazing staff who pay attention to detail, very secure and very homely. Our son attended from the age of nine months after we left a nursery in the same area that had very low standards, and The Croft was also recommended
to us by an independent school we intended to take our son to for reception. We felt included, felt at ease and the staff were all very warm, always happy and give you a full handover daily at pick up. Our son was always happy to go to nursery, even during weekends he would cry to go to nursery because he loved all his teachers and the children in the nursery were all well mannered and polite.

The Croft is a truly amazing nursery. My daughter attended several nurseries in the area for different reasons before and finally, we have found the best one now! She has been the happiest and learnt the most here. The staff are always in a good mood and visibly enjoying their jobs and having fun whilst
loving, encouraging, teaching and developing the children. Everything is focused on the children including learning and playing activities in and outside the nursery as well as healthy eating and exercising. The premises and facilities are excellent with a beautiful garden and plenty of new resources all the time throughout the year. My daughter loves the staff and I have trust in them. The children are listened to and cared for exceptionally well and I see my child’s confidence growing every day as a result. Feedback is always taken on-board as the management and staff thrive for excellence. I would genuinely recommend as the best nursery where your child will feel like home.!

My 3-year-old son is now in his final year at the Croft. He has been attending since he was 1 and last year went from 2 full days to 3. Although there is a long waiting list (speaks volumes in itself), once my son was accepted they were accommodating and helpful with moving his permanent days around.
In his final year (we would have loved to have kept him there another but the Council wouldn't let us defer) he has continued to flourish. Every few weeks we notice new things that he has picked up from nursery and each time it makes us smile or laugh. The atmosphere at the Croft is so positive and encouraging, I couldn't imagine him at another nursery. One of the things I appreciate the most is the fact the staff are willing to spend a few minutes each day telling us how he has been (in addition to the weekly diary we get). Placing our son at the Croft was most definitely the best early investment we made and I always highly recommend the nursery. Thank you to the manager and your amazing team!

My eldest had such a great time at the Croft that he often wants to return even if he is currently in year 1.
My second has been attending since he was twelve months old and absolutely loves it there.
He refers to it as going to "work" and is always proud of having "played with his friends" all day.
The
staff at the Croft are highly professional and always so pleasant and approachable.
I have no doubt that my son has made significant progress with his speech and language because of the hard work all the ladies and especially his key workers have, over the years, put into supporting him. The manager and the ladies have been instrumental in preparing an application for an EHCP; which would make all the difference for my son when he starts primary school this September.
I highly recommend the Croft as not only being a clean and caring environment but one where your child's early developmental learning will take place.

Our 3 year old started going to this nursery since he was 1.5 and we have seen quite a progress in him. He had some early speech issues that the nursery very well dealt with and came up with a collaborative plan and we can see it working fruitfully. The nursery is immensely professional in its routine
and we feel safe leaving our child in their hands while we go to work. We love it when the child comes home happy, learning new things at the nursery and wants to practise the same at home, of course, owing to the countless efforts of well-qualified staff at the nursery. In the hindsight, I think it was absolutely worth the 12 months wait to get a place. Can't recommend this nursery enough!

This nursery has such a home from home feel about it. All staff are solely focused on the child and always put them first. They all fully understand children and adopt all the values and methods to fully welcome and integrate the children within the setting. Their care and obvious love of looking after
children is amazing.
They offer a huge variety of fun and educational activities all designed to meet your child’s individual needs.
They are very open and will always take on board your views and opinions.
I couldn’t recommend this setting enough, my child absolutely loves coming to nursery and is thoroughly happy here.

Both of my children, ages 3 years and 18 months, attend nursery and we are very happy there. They are content, happy and progressing well in all aspects.
I have been dealing with this nursery since January 2016 and have no complaints over that length of time.
Staff are very open to communication and
I feel at ease speaking to them and they have my children’s interests as their priority.

My two children attend the nursery and I can gladly say that they both enjoy going to their various rooms within the nursery. The staff are very friendly and supportive and as a parent, I find it comforting to know that my children are in a pleasant environment.

My daughter is happy at The Croft. I have no worries when I drop her off. The Learning Journies are an extremely good way of receiving a summary of what your child gets up to in their daily attendance at The Croft. She loves her teachers and always talks about them and her day when she comes home.

My daughter (just turned 2) loves going to the Croft and often talks about the staff and children at home. She feels safe and happy there so I am happy to leave her in their very capable hands whilst I go to work. I feel connected to what she's doing with a weekly report and if I miss her I can call
or email and the staff respond quickly, often with a picture which I really appreciate.


They have taught her to be a polite, independent and thoughtful girl. They adapt learning to suit the child rather than stick to a rigid plan based on what suits the room/age. I experienced this kind of blanket approach at a former nursery and I don't believe that's best for the child.


The staff go above and beyond to not only make your child feel safe, happy and welcome but that is extended to the parents too.


I wish I found the Croft for my first child. I have experienced 3 nurseries and hands down this is the best. I couldn't recommend the Croft enough.

What an amazing nursery! My older children were so happy here. My last child has been at the nursery since three months old, she's now 2 years 6 months old and very happy, confident.
The staff are exceptional, very friendly, and caring. The nursery provides a warm, loving and fun environment for the
children. Parents receive a weekly update on their child's learning development.

We are new to the nursery, we visited this nursery and knew straight away it was the one for our boy. I looked at a lot of places after and never had the same feeling. We are very happy as is our 15 months old, he has settled so quickly. The staff all work very hard and you can tell that it is a lovely
environment to work in. This reflects in the children. You get great value for money here. I would recommend Croft to any parents.

My daughter started here are 3 months old. We were very confident that she would be very well looked after since we had the experience with 2 other siblings go through the same nursery. The staff are attentive and friendly, they keep you informed of your child's progress, and provide a good springboard
for the child to go on to primary school in a seamless fashion. More importantly, the child is well-looked after and safe. When I drop my child off in the mornings, she just runs off, into the staff arms. She can't wait to go in. That for me is a sign, that my child is happy here.

My 3yr little boy loves the croft from day one and always happy being at nursery.
Staff are super kind and friendly, always welcoming and willing to help. Never seen the meal but my son always having double portions which indicate great food and he enjoys, most importantly he is well looked after
and healthy.
I am baking #2 and definitely sending him to the Croft again as I feel comfortable and safe to leave my second child there. Also, want him to have great experience what his brother had before.
Absolutely high recommended.

My daughter has looked forward to going to nursery in her days at the Croft. My daughter has grown to be an intelligent girl who is respectful, truthful, very sensible, confident and I have to say a big thank you to Croft staff, her mentors/ key workers and management who have the right staff at the
right time.
The nursery is empowering always trying new things, changing rooms - set up the same rooms but looking different and very good all the time and this makes it new. Kids get bored looking at same things over and over. They have made an excellent effort in making sure this does not happen at the Croft. My daughter always enjoyed and loved attending this day nursery and thinks the world of it.


I have to say it is re-assuring for any parent to know my child attends an excellent place of care. It is like a deer on fresh waters, beautiful.


May the Croft staff keep this good work and hope they all empower this excellence to others.
