What an amazing nursery!! My son has been attending since May 2024! He's grown and learnt so much along the way and that is all thanks to the incredible staff!! Not forgetting Lauren, Chantelle and Tiff who have been so supportive, caring and overall brilliant when it comes to any questions I have about my son and they're always on hand to help support! Thank you to each and every one of you! You truly are the best!

Both of my children attend The Croft Oakdale, My son has attended the nursery since he was 4 months old and is now 3 and in preschool. My daughter started at 4 months in September 2025 and both of them settled incredibly well thanks to the incredible staff. Both Lauren and Chantelle made us feel very comfortable and have been accommodating and friendly throughout our time at the nursery. Each member of staff have taken the time to get to know both of my children and have played a massive part in their development and social skills. The Croft really feels like a warm friendly environment making you feel totally comfortable about leaving your children in their capable hands. I also really like how the staff have been at the nursery for long periods of time and how happy they seem to be. I would highly recommend The Croft Oakdale to anyone looking for a fantastic nursery setting with the most incredible staff, we cannot fault them. Every member of staff are a credit to the team. My son has been going to this nursery since October 2023 and we both couldn't be happier! He has made wonderful friends and has always gone into the setting very happy. I have never had any tears! His developmental progress shot through the roof since starting and it his speech and learning has improved massively. All of the staff are amazing, kind and great at communicating and the managers Chantelle and Lauren are incredible. It just goes to show their amazing leadership skills with how many members of staff have been there for such a number of years. They offer so many different activities and things to do and I love hearing about all the new things he's been doing. Nothing is too much trouble and I always feel at ease that my son is safe and content while I am working. I am due my second baby soon and will definitely be sending her to this nursery next year too.

Just wanted to share some feedback regarding our experience so far at The Croft Belvedere. Overall my sons transition into Nursery has been very positive. As a slightlysensitive child I was nervous about how he would settle and how we would manage with multiple milestones happening at the same time - return to work, start of nursery and start of school for older child.

The staff have been great at supporting him especially where he was unwell a few times at the start. They are always friendly, attentive and caring. Any issues are always handled with care and respect and every time we have been invited into the setting it is evident that they take real pride in their workMy son is very happy and thriving developmentally due to well planned activities and schedule. The experience has definitely helped elevate some of the pressure during this transition period for our family. Thanks again.

I am so delighted with my experience at Croft. They look after my son like family and he is happy and excited to go to nursery and is progressing so well with his physical and non physical skills. He is in the baby room and they have a great app where I can see what activities they do in a day and receive wonderful updates on his progress and funny things he does in they day. The staff are so kind and caring of the children and I love the events they organise for special days and holidays. Could not recommend more, 10 stars!

Our daughter is so happy at The Croft, she has been there since she was 7 months old and has thrived. The staff are wonderful, warm and incredibly caring. Croft Nursery in Belvedere has been a fantastic experience for my son. He started in the Squirrel Room with Lily, who was incredibly caring and attentive. Now in the Badger Room, he's thriving thanks to Demi, Emily, and Aimee-supportive, nurturing, and deeply engaged in his development. As a working parent, I truly value the regular updates through their family app, including photos and milestones that keep me connected to his day. The nursery is beautifully maintained, clean and constantly improving, with new equipment and sensory activities that my son loves. Any concerns I've raised have always been taken seriously and handled with care. Jenny and Jo, the managers, have been incredibly helpful and responsive throughout our journey. I'm so grateful for the love and attention my son receives every day. Croft Nursery is a truly special place. A final thank you to the finance team-equally professional and responsive. There are many names I haven't mentioned, but I thank the entire team!

A really great nursery where both our daughter and now son have had wonderful experiences. Really good and caring staff. Both our children have been really looked after well. The pre-school prep was particularly good and helped with that transition. Cannot recommend it highly enough.

Amazing people work there. Always so happy & welcoming! Always willing to help! Great Nursery and amazing people. Have really helped develop my son. Really seen the difference from when he started a year ago!

My daughter has blossomed since joining-her confidence, social skills, and curiosity have grown tremendously. The activities are creative and engaging, from learning through play to outdoor adventures, and it's clear the team puts so much thought into every day.

We noticed significant improvement in our child's speech, social skills, confidence, routine and we feel confident in the level of care provided.

My daughter has been attending since she was 9 months old and she is now 3; I couldn't have asked for a better nursery. The staff are so friendly and put you at ease as you leave your child. They get to know your child and support them in whatever they need. First steps really does feel like a family. I really like the fact that the staff that work here all seem really happy and they have been at First steps a long time - I think this is a really good indicator of what a lovely environment this is. My daughter loves playing outside and I love the fact they do water and messy play (something I don't have to clean up!). Activities are always structured and most days my daughter will come home with a picture she has created! We are moving up to the final room in September and I can't wait to watch the final year and see even more development from my little one. Thank you to the whole First Steps Team for welcoming us into your family.

Our daughter has been with First Steps from around 12 months old, she'll be leaving to start school in September. The staff at First Steps have been superb and made our little one feel safe and secure throughout! The setting is smaller than some others, but this is no way a bad thing, its a massive plus! Our daughter knows everyone and has built some lovely friendships. I couldn't recommend First Steps highly enough!

Can't recommend First Steps more! My 3 year old absolutely loves going and coming home telling me about his day. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful! He leaves everyday with a huge smile on his face and excited to come back each day.

We are so lucky the our kids have been at this nursery. My whole family always say how amazing they are. I cannot praise the staff enough for just how incredible they are at their jobs. My daughter has a scary medical condition and I was always nervous with the thought of leaving her but from the very beginning the girls have taken the time to get to know all about it so they can contact me if they think somethings wrong. I am very lucky that I do not have to worry about her at all. My son also adores it here and they have made so many friends.

The girls even helped me with potty training twins which I just couldn't have done without them. They have contributed so much to their physical and emotional development, personalities and learning. Truly so thankful to have this amazing nursery on our door step with staff who genuinely care about what they do and the impact they have.

Sent both my children here. I trust them 100% and both my children have loved it. First steps have built the confidence in my youngest who was quite shy. I would recommend to anyone. Staff are great and communication good.
