4 brilliant years. Could not ask for more.
Our 4-year-old daughter attended the Corner House from 7 months until her “graduation” just over two weeks ago. The entire experience was outstanding.
Staff at every level did a phenomenal job of engaging, stimulating, nurturing, feeding (the food’s great!),
and simply looking after our daughter. They appear to love what they do – despite the incredible challenges (even in normal times) – and clearly, they love the kids. At the graduation ceremony, this fact was made even more obvious by seeing just how different all the leavers are. They may have all been wide-eyed little tots at one point, but they’ve all grown into such vibrantly unique and confident young people. Sure, that also has plenty to do with the parents. But the contribution made by the Corner House cannot be underestimated.
We couldn’t be more thankful for the time we’ve had – and how prepared our daughter is for the next stage of her growth.

We have been extremely happy with Corner House Day Nursery looking after both our girls 3 yrs and 7yrs old. My eldest has very fond memories and my youngest enjoys the warm, friendly, educational environment the nursery works hard to provide not to mention good feedback on the development of your child
and how their day has been. The staff really interact with the kids shaping them into well behaved engaging individuals ready to take on the world.

I would highly recommend The Corner House, our daughter has loved every stage of her experience and enjoys going to nursery each morning.
The staff are all incredibly friendly and approachable and keep things fresh each day and really invest in fun activities, such as teddy tennis and drama activities.

The Corner House Day Nursery has been the best choice that we have made for our son,
he joined in when he was 9 months (now coming up to 3 years), he loves the activities, every day it's something different, recently he enjoyed the face painting, there is always a lot going on.
Teddy tennis has been
a big thing for our son, and he talks about it every Sunday evening when we talk about going to nursery 'tomorrow'.
If we pick him up early he gets cross with us, as he is having a wonderful time.
We particularly like the variety of food that is provided at the nursery.
We are having another child and we have put him on the waiting list already.

I would highly recommend Corner House Day Nursery. My daughter is very happy at the nursery and loves the members of staff. She gets very excited about going to nursery in the mornings and talks about her friends and the staff when she’s at home.


I feel the nursery supported us very well during

her settling in period and that she has really developed over her first year in the toddler room. The themes each week are great and it’s lovely that she gets lots of variety of food each week that is all freshly prepared. We are very happy with the care our daughter receives.

I would recommend Corner House nursery very highly - our two children are so happy there; they are thriving and genuinely enjoy going to nursery. The staff are unfailingly kind, caring and hardworking, and always go the extra mile. Our children (18 months and 3 years) have been there since they were
12 months old, and we have so much enjoyed watching them learning, developing and growing. We have been really impressed with the level of dedication from the staff right from the start of our association with the nursery and the communication with parents is excellent: we get daily updates and the staff are always available for a chat if we have any questions.
Very happy indeed!

I am extremely happy with the choice of nursery I have made for my daughter. The staff are all very welcoming and display a high knowledge of child development. The care my daughter receives is outstanding and it has made me feel totally confident to go back to work. My daughter's interests are met
with weekly topics and activities based around what she enjoys. I also really enjoy the fact that she has started to make friends.

I've seen many nurseries and the Corner House is by far the best. My little girl is so happy there and the teachers are just amazing! They make each day fun and exciting! My little girl's manners are beautiful. She pretty much potty trained herself with the help of the fantastic staff. The level of
care and attention that's given to each activity/task and each individual child is just wonderful. Thank you so much!

I have worked at the Corner House for 22 years now and feel like it is a home from home. There are great opportunities to progress in your career as I started here as an Early Years Practitioner in Baby Room, progressing to Senior then Manager and now Quality Assurance and Operations Manager.


Now having over 30 years of experience in the child-care field I can honestly say that I have learnt the most and gained the most knowledge and practical experience in my time spent at Corner House.

I joined Corner House Day Nursery in January 2006. I worked in the Toddler Room then the Baby Room and also became a senior member of staff, where again I was given the chance to further my development as an Early Years Practitioner; something I feel that Corner House has always supported me with. I left in July 2011 to become an overseas Nanny, and when I came home I was lucky enough to be offered an opportunity to come back as Assistant Manager.
