We are extremely happy that we managed to get a spot at The Corner House Nursery for our daughter. She seems to be very happy there and is always excited to go and from the updates we get, she seems to be having a fantastic time and is well stimulated. She enjoys all the activities including yoga and
theatre bugs as well as the walks to the park/shops. She has become really attached to her keyworker and some of the other staff. They are always lovely and ready to answer any questions or concerns we may have. She has a few food allergies and the nursery has been very good at ensuring her diet is adjusted to suit her needs. The in-house chef cooks the food fresh on a daily basis and our daughter eats very well at nursery! We are very happy!

Our child is very happy at Corner House. She has plenty of opportunity to learn, play and grow. The staff are lovely and our child has formed really nice bonds with many of them. The nursery is great at organising activities for children and parents. For example, they have yoga, tennis and theatre classes.
We are happy that our child can have outdoor playtime regularly at the garden and with walks to the park and shops. Food is cooked daily by the chef and our child eats very well there. The nursery are open to suggestions and are good at keeping a dialogue open with parents. They have a very good app to keep us updated on meals, nappies, naps etc. but also on our child’s progress and development.

I fell in love with the nursery as soon as I walked through the door. The atmosphere is that of a big family and my daughter has settled in very well.

A fantastic nursery with wonderful, caring staff. Corner House provides a homely environment for children and is well organised and clean, with outdoor space and various activities to encourage development. The food is healthy, and the facilities are excellent. Thoroughly recommended.

Corner House Day Nursery is part of our family, simple as that. Our boy moves on to school this year and we will miss Corner House in our lives terribly. For four years (through the pandemic) they have nurtured and helped our boy grow in every way and we will be forever grateful to the entire team.

The staff at the nursery are amazing. They really ensure that the children are properly settled in and taken care of. They make sure they understand the children’s interests and strengths and have so much experience that you feel they are in capable hands.
They do lots of activities, both indoors
and outdoors and have recently introduced yoga which our daughter absolutely loves.

My son has been at Corner House Day Nursery for the last 4 months in the baby room. I can't recommend it highly enough. The staff are all fabulous and my son is clearly so happy and content in their care. Many of the staff have worked there for a long time which I think speaks for itself. Communication
with parents is excellent through an app. The food is freshly prepared on site and the menu is varied. He has come on so much since he started at Corner House and I highly recommend it to other mums and dads in the area.

My son has been at Corner House for 18 months and I can’t recommend it highly enough. It’s very friendly, the staff are all lovely and many of them have worked there for years - there’s hardly any staff turnover. It’s a wonderful environment for little ones and my son absolutely loves it. They are always
doing fun activities, messy play, going on walks, they’re bugs, tennis etc. There’s also a chef, so all the food is cooked fresh and we get to see the menu every week for the week ahead. You’re kept up to date with everything via an app so you can see food, nappy change, and sleep as well as observations showing what your little one has been up to. We feel very lucky to have this nursery at the end of our road!

Our son attended Corner House Day Nursery and always loved it so we had no hesitation about sending our daughter there too. The staff are very friendly and the bond they build with the children is lovely. My daughter absolutely loves going to nursery and talks about the staff at home too.
They don’t
have the largest outdoor space but they make good use of what they have, both front and back. They are also great at taking the kids out to the local parks and shops on little adventures.
As they move up to the older groups they are brilliant at getting them ready for school. My son stayed right up until starting primary school and the work they did on reading and phonics was fantastic. He was really ready for school largely thanks to that.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others, in fact, I have many times.

We loved the whole Corner House experience, from the initial viewing through to our daughter leaving pre-school. The environment the team have created is so welcoming, it feels like an extension of your family. The staff are wonderful and caring and go out of their way to know you and your child and
what you get up to outside of the nursery. The communication from the management team is efficient, and they are always available on the phone. Updates on what our child had done during the day were effective and easy using the app. If we weren't moving out of the area our second daughter would be 100% joining the Corner House family.

The nursery has a home to home feeling. Impressive staff and very good also prep to go into reception. I have had both of my kids there and now only my youngest and could experience from baby room until going to school and all the way a great connection with the nursery staff sharing daily activities
with a good system to assess kids progress.
Also was great support from the team throughout Covid restrictions.
Once my daughter moves to reception. We will greatly miss everyone. But enjoying a lot and now back to extra curriculum classes.

Corner House Day Nursery is a wonderful nursery and we have had the pleasure of watching our son develop and learn so much with each passing day. The staff are amazingly caring to the children and very responsive to parents concerns. They've also catered to my son's dietary needs with utmost care. We
plan to enrol my second child also to the same nursery and it's nice to know the kids are being well looked after when we are at work.

Corner House Day Nursery is a wonderful nursery with kind and caring staff. Our two daughters both attend the nursery and really enjoy the different activities and themes each week. They come home and tell us all about the vast variety of topics they learn about and we have seen their development really
encouraged by the staff.
Our eldest daughter joined the nursery when she was 1 and three and a half years later has recently had her graduation ceremony before starting school. We couldn't have asked for a better nursery and felt fully supported throughout her time there. I highly recommend.

My daughter absolutely loves going to Corner House Day Nursery. She has been attending since ten months old in baby room. The nursery have been absolutely amazing due to the last year, going out of their way to keep all the children safe and happy. They do lots of really great creative activities with
the kids and they go in the garden all the time. The staff are so kind, considerate and treat each child as an individual. The biggest recommendation for Corner House Day Nursery was when last week I told my daughter it was a 'mummy work day' and her reaction was 'yay nursery!'

My little boy has been attending Corner House Day Nursery for nearly 3 years and has loved it so much since day 1. The environment is safe, clean and really happy and over the years I have had nothing but a great experience as my little boy has always been happy.
My little boy has some physical challenges
and the nursery staff have been so pro-active in helping me get the support he needs externally, as well as the brilliant support they offer him inside the nursery.
The nursery has been fully communicative during all the Covid measures and we have felt very little impact on the measures required due to the way they have structured bubbles etc.
I would highly recommend this nursery to all my family and friends.

Our daughter is now four and approaching the last few months of her time at Corner House. Day Nursery. She started there soon after turning two and the impact being there has had on her development is frankly immeasurable. She is more confident and sociable, eats much better than before and most of
all she speaks beautifully. So much of this is down to the sheer effort, commitment and care provided by all the staff at Corner House Day Nursery. We know she is well looked after and always comes home talking about how much fun she had with her friends and what she has learnt or made. We could not ask for better preparation for attending primary school in September.

I have worked at the Corner House for 22 years now and feel like it is a home from home. There are great opportunities to progress in your career as I started here as an Early Years Practitioner in Baby Room, progressing to Senior then Manager and now Quality Assurance and Operations Manager.


Now having over 30 years of experience in the child-care field I can honestly say that I have learnt the most and gained the most knowledge and practical experience in my time spent at Corner House.

I joined Corner House Day Nursery in January 2006. I worked in the Toddler Room then the Baby Room and also became a senior member of staff, where again I was given the chance to further my development as an Early Years Practitioner; something I feel that Corner House has always supported me with. I left in July 2011 to become an overseas Nanny, and when I came home I was lucky enough to be offered an opportunity to come back as Assistant Manager.
