Corner House Day Nursery

The outdoor space is lovely, and we appreciate that the toddlers have open access to it. For our son to have freshly made food every day was also really important to us. Overall the environment feels like a home away from home for him. We would very much recommend Corner House.

Super happy with the nursery. My child has developed a lot with the help of the lovely staff. It’s great knowing she is in good hands throughout the week and also important to know she is having healthy homemade food too.

We are extremely happy that we managed to get a spot at The Corner House Nursery for our daughter. She seems to be very happy there and is always excited to go and from the updates we get, she seems to be having a fantastic time and is well stimulated. She enjoys all the activities including yoga and theatre bugs as well as the walks to the park/shops. She has become really attached to her keyworker and some of the other staff. They are always lovely and ready to answer any questions or concerns we may have. She has a few food allergies and the nursery has been very good at ensuring her diet is adjusted to suit her needs. The in-house chef cooks the food fresh on a daily basis and our daughter eats very well at nursery! We are very happy!

Our child is very happy at Corner House. She has plenty of opportunity to learn, play and grow. The staff are lovely and our child has formed really nice bonds with many of them. The nursery is great at organising activities for children and parents. For example, they have yoga, tennis and theatre classes. We are happy that our child can have outdoor playtime regularly at the garden and with walks to the park and shops. Food is cooked daily by the chef and our child eats very well there. The nursery are open to suggestions and are good at keeping a dialogue open with parents. They have a very good app to keep us updated on meals, nappies, naps etc. but also on our child’s progress and development.

I fell in love with the nursery as soon as I walked through the door. The atmosphere is that of a big family and my daughter has settled in very well.

A fantastic nursery with wonderful, caring staff. Corner House provides a homely environment for children and is well organised and clean, with outdoor space and various activities to encourage development. The food is healthy, and the facilities are excellent. Thoroughly recommended.

Corner House Day Nursery is part of our family, simple as that. Our boy moves on to school this year and we will miss Corner House in our lives terribly. For four years (through the pandemic) they have nurtured and helped our boy grow in every way and we will be forever grateful to the entire team.

My son has been at Corner House Day Nursery for the last 4 months in the baby room. I can't recommend it highly enough. The staff are all fabulous and my son is clearly so happy and content in their care. Many of the staff have worked there for a long time which I think speaks for itself. Communication with parents is excellent through an app. The food is freshly prepared on site and the menu is varied. He has come on so much since he started at Corner House and I highly recommend it to other mums and dads in the area.

We have been exceedingly happy sending our child to Corner House Day Nursery, they have consistently shown an exceptional level of care, providing a nurturing environment that has enabled our child to grow confidence, to learn and develop in a stimulating and fun environment and create genuine friendships and connections with both the children and staff. We couldn't recommend Corner House Day Nursery highly enough.

My son has been at Corner House for 18 months and I can’t recommend it highly enough. It’s very friendly, the staff are all lovely and many of them have worked there for years - there’s hardly any staff turnover. It’s a wonderful environment for little ones and my son absolutely loves it. They are always doing fun activities, messy play, going on walks, they’re bugs, tennis etc. There’s also a chef, so all the food is cooked fresh and we get to see the menu every week for the week ahead. You’re kept up to date with everything via an app so you can see food, nappy change, and sleep as well as observations showing what your little one has been up to. We feel very lucky to have this nursery at the end of our road!

Corner House Day Nursery has been our first choice for all three of our children. It is a well-run nursery with excellent staff and good facilities. I would highly recommend Corner House to anyone locally.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others, in fact, I have many times.

We loved the whole Corner House experience, from the initial viewing through to our daughter leaving pre-school. The environment the team have created is so welcoming, it feels like an extension of your family. The staff are wonderful and caring and go out of their way to know you and your child and what you get up to outside of the nursery. The communication from the management team is efficient, and they are always available on the phone. Updates on what our child had done during the day were effective and easy using the app. If we weren't moving out of the area our second daughter would be 100% joining the Corner House family.

Once my daughter moves to reception. We will greatly miss everyone. But enjoying a lot and now back to extra curriculum classes.

Corner House Day Nursery is a wonderful nursery and we have had the pleasure of watching our son develop and learn so much with each passing day. The staff are amazingly caring to the children and very responsive to parents concerns. They've also catered to my son's dietary needs with utmost care. We plan to enrol my second child also to the same nursery and it's nice to know the kids are being well looked after when we are at work.

Our eldest daughter joined the nursery when she was 1 and three and a half years later has recently had her graduation ceremony before starting school. We couldn't have asked for a better nursery and felt fully supported throughout her time there. I highly recommend.

My daughter absolutely loves going to Corner House Day Nursery. She has been attending since ten months old in baby room. The nursery have been absolutely amazing due to the last year, going out of their way to keep all the children safe and happy. They do lots of really great creative activities with the kids and they go in the garden all the time. The staff are so kind, considerate and treat each child as an individual. The biggest recommendation for Corner House Day Nursery was when last week I told my daughter it was a 'mummy work day' and her reaction was 'yay nursery!'

Both of my children have gone to the Corner House Day Nursery and they have been very happy there. It is a very nurturing environment and they have formed wonderful friendships. I highly recommend the nursery. A huge thank you to all of the staff.
