Kids Inc Day Nursery - South Woodford

It is a wonderful nursery to send your child. I am happy with the care, support and learning development of my child. The management team are wonderful people and the staff are lovely and caring. I am very impressed with the observations and I will recommend this nursery to all the parents. Kids Inc nursery is the right place for my child.

My daughter seems to enjoy the nursery and is developing well. I like all the staff. My feedback would be positive overall but some minor negatives would be:

Sometimes her clothes are changed when not really needed causing me unnecessary washing (not much of a complaint).

I would love for all sweet things to be banned as I don't see why a 2-year-old needs pudding at nursery (and I think this should be applied to all schools in the UK).

If snacks are given it should be healthy veg or fruit only.

I think juice should also be banned and have water only (I have already asked for my child not to be given juice but I also think it's a little mean that the others can have it and she can't. I'd rather it wasn't available to anyone).

Kids Inc Day is an amazing nursery. My little boy has been attending for 3 years; he has grown in confidence and is always happy to go to nursery. All of the staff are caring and really get to know the personalities of the children. They go the extra mile to make sure children are happy, and are always welcoming! Because of this leaving my son at the nursery is made easier!

My son started at Kids Inc from 8 months old. He has been in all the rooms up to the pre-school. I am very happy with the care he receives and the support in potty training when the time came. My daughter started attending from 10 months old. The nursery has great facilities and a real family feel. The children are well looked after and happy. They have a great outdoor space which was really important to us as we lived in a first floor flat when my son joined. All the staff are friendly, approachable and knowledgeable. The food is great, I often wish I could join them for the chefs cooking! I love that they do various clubs such as cooking and science which the children really enjoy. The pre-schoolers have their own PC and great support in learning. There are lots of events and good communication between the nursery and parents. Both children have both made some lovely friends. We are really happy with the nursery, the staff, the facilities and the care our children receive.

Pretty much every morning when I say we need to leave for the nursery, she grabs her little red bag and runs out to the car with a smile on her face. For me, that says everything.

The staff at Kids Inc are helpful and enthusiastic. They want to provide a safe and nurturing environment for the children in their care. They also provide some great ‘extra’ events like fetes and family picnic days.

They provide a range of activities for children that are usually age appropriate (although sometimes I’d like to see more challenging activities provided). Key workers respond to your comments and requests i.e. to support the child’s confidence with writing.

My son loves being there and is only moving due to their inability to provide a four-day per week allocation.

He adores his key workers and loves his time there.

Fantastic nursery with outstanding staff. My granddaughter is always smiling and happy when I collect her. I can see how much the girls love their job and care for the children by how they are when I come to the nursery. Staff are extremly helpful and are very welcoming. My granddaughter always eats well and has a lovely variety of home cooked meals each day.

Brilliant nursery with a personal feel. All staff go above and beyond to ensure the children and parents are happy. Very accommodating!

My boy is extremely happy there.

Our son absolutely loves coming to nursery. He adores the nursery nurses and is always excited to see them.

We get regular updates and he seems to have lots of activities to stimulate and develop him.

So far, we couldn't ask for more.

My daughter has been attending Kids Inc since she was a baby (she is nearly 4). In this time she has blossomed into a very happy and confident child and the nursery has played a major role in her development. The staff are warm and approachable and it really shows that they truly care for the children. The management in the last couple of years has hugely improved, there is a strong manager in place, and the nursery quickly addresses and deals with any concerns. Another thing that is a big plus, in my opinion, is the fact that the food is cooked on the premises and is fresh, varied and healthy.

Overall the standard and performance of the nursery is good. But it will be nice to have a wider space at the entrance to the butterflies classroom upstairs. Currently, space where the butterflies put their bags upstairs, is too small to accommodate two parents and two children at the same time, because what happens is a parent and child has to wait by the stairs to allow a parent to take off or put on their child's coat when picking or dropping off a child at the butterflies. The lounge/space needs to be extended or widened to allow more parents/children at a given time.
