Chestnut Tree Day Nursery

Chestnut Tree Day Nursery is a wonderful place. I am so happy with the service and care they provide for my child. She has been attending the nursery since January 2021, and she is so very happy there. I drop her off in the morning with a smile and pick her in the evening equally as happy, which gives me complete peace of mind while I am at work. The activities the nursery provide help my child to progress in a wide range of areas, especially social skills. Thank you, Chestnut Tree.

My daughter started at the nursery at about 7-months-old, and I was a bit sceptical, particularly as this was at the heart of the pandemic. I was really reassured by the staff at the start, but I knew the proof would be the impact on my daughter's life. I am so impressed by her development in such a short period of time. There is a real emphasis on engaging each child and focusing on skills, which in my opinion, set them apart from other children. Her room leader/deputy manager is fantastic and has helped draw our daughter out and participate fully in all aspects of nursery life. I am so impressed by the difference it has made to her life, and I truly commend all the staff members as you are all amazing! Thank you for all your hard work!

Absolutely thrilled with this nursery. My daughter started at the beginning of this month. She is 20-months and hasn't spent a single hour without us so, I was really anxious about leaving her. The staff did an absolutely fantastic job! My kid is actually waving bye in the morning while jumping in one of the staff's arms. I can see her developing and growing more confident with each session she spends there (only 3x a week). The staff are great, and I am very pleased with the way they treat the kids.

This nursery has been fantastic for our family especially through a lot of difficult times. Our little girl has thrived there and staff couldn’t be more helpful, enthusiastic and friendly. During Covid, they have gone above and beyond to make sure there is plenty of safety measures for the children/parents/staff. Definitely would recommend.

Our son started at Chestnut Tree when he was just five months old, and now at nearly five years old, he is set to leave for big school at the end of this month, confident and fully prepared for his next chapter. There have been a few changes at the nursery over the years he has attended, but management have kept us informed every step of the way and have given us plenty of opportunities to voice any concerns or ideas for improvement. We have always been made to feel included and our son has formed a close bond with the staff and other children. I would highly recommend this nursery for parents looking for a safe place for their children to be cared for and gain independence and all the relevant skills required for primary school.

My daughter has been attending for over a year and I am extremely happy with her development, especially her ability to interact with others and stand up for herself. The staff are kind, professional and led by a fantastic lady. As an educator myself, I can testify that the programme of activities is well thought out, educational and engaging. Communication with parents is also excellent.
