Our son has been going to this nursery for just under a year, he is in Tinies and attends 3 days a week and loves it. All the staff at the nursery are great, they make an effort to know all the children's names and parents even those that are not in their classes. Our son's development has come on so
much in such a short amount of time, thanks to his room leader and all the wonderful staff he interacts with on a daily basis. We get daily updates and photos which really does give you peace of mind.

Such a lovely nursery, that has lovely, friendly staff. My daughter loves going, has made lots of friends and has learnt so much in a small amount of time. Always coming home covered in paint and glue! Would highly recommend.

My daughter has been attending full time since January when she was 14 months. She had difficulty previously settling with a childminder and I was very worried about how she would cope. The staff at Chestnut Tree Day Nursery were amazing, especially the manager, deputy and baby room staff. They were
so nurturing with her that after a week she was leaning out for them to take her and waving me off. I receive pictures throughout the day showing what she’s doing, and daily knowledgeable updates from the staff. She loves being at nursery and is so excited when she knows that’s where she’s going. The staff are what makes this nursery a truly fun and happy place, the care that is shown is above and beyond what I could have hoped for.

My daughter has settled in very well and loves all the staff. She has come a long way already. She is 2 and a bit delayed and possibly autistic and the nursery has been nothing but accommodating for her. They work closely with her and I have noticed she is picking a few things up. She doesn’t usually
play with other children but she has just started to join in with the other children in her room. She is also a fussy eater but has started to try all different types of food when at nursery which is great! We are definitely going to apply for her to go up to the preschool room when she turns 3 as we all love it there! She has grown very close to one of the staff members in particular and I love seeing their bond when I pick her up!

I was very nervous at first while settling down my 15-months-old child after the second lockdown because she hasn't seen anyone other than dad and granny. The staff took really good care of her, and she settled quite well. Even though she attends only twice a day, she has learnt so many things, and
more importantly, she doesn't cry when she sees strangers anymore. I can see she is more interactive and improved on her gesture. The nursery also provides emergency childcare session, which is very handy for me as I don't need to worry about finding another place or friends or family to look after my child in case I need to leave her on a day other than her usual days.

My daughter has been very happy at The Chestnut. The staff are kind and caring. She is doing well in the preschool room, learning her numbers and letters so quickly, getting her prepared for primary school.

My daughter joined the nursery in April 2019 and started in the baby room; she was just over 12-months.


Since joining the nursery, her development has been so impressive, from learning to use cutlery to eat independently to the development of her speech. The Chestnut Tree Day Nursery has helped

her to reach and exceed her developmental milestones.


Staff are friendly and approachable, and any concerns are dealt with promptly. I would definitely and I have recommended this nursery to numerous friends with young children.

Both my children have attended Chestnut Tree from 9-months and 10-months. One has since left to go to primary school, and my youngest is currently there. As a family, we have been using this nursery for 5-years and have always been very happy with the standard of care and learning our children have
received. My youngest is thriving, and feel he has become well prepared for primary school admission in September 2021 thanks to the nursery and its staff. My sons first words to me on collecting him at the end of the day are always ‘I had fun!’. We’re so pleased to have sent our children here and can highly recommend it to anyone considering it for their children.

My son joined the nursery in April 2021. I was extremely nervous as he is my first child, and we haven’t been separated since he was born. I needn't have worried because the team are amazing, caring and considerate; they are fantastic with my boy and put me at ease. The manager has always been organised
and helpful with any queries that we have, responding in a timely fashion. I would highly recommend them.

Chestnut Tree Day Nursery is a wonderful place. I am so happy with the service and care they provide for my child. She has been attending the nursery since January 2021, and she is so very happy there. I drop her off in the morning with a smile and pick her in the evening equally as happy, which gives

My daughter started at the nursery at about 7-months-old, and I was a bit sceptical, particularly as this was at the heart of the pandemic. I was really reassured by the staff at the start, but I knew the proof would be the impact on my daughter's life. I am so impressed by her development in such a
short period of time. There is a real emphasis on engaging each child and focusing on skills, which in my opinion, set them apart from other children. Her room leader/deputy manager is fantastic and has helped draw our daughter out and participate fully in all aspects of nursery life. I am so impressed by the difference it has made to her life, and I truly commend all the staff members as you are all amazing! Thank you for all your hard work!

Absolutely thrilled with this nursery. My daughter started at the beginning of this month. She is 20-months and hasn't spent a single hour without us so, I was really anxious about leaving her. The staff did an absolutely fantastic job! My kid is actually waving bye in the morning while jumping in one
of the staff's arms. I can see her developing and growing more confident with each session she spends there (only 3x a week). The staff are great, and I am very pleased with the way they treat the kids.

This nursery has been fantastic for our family especially through a lot of difficult times. Our little girl has thrived there and staff couldn’t be more helpful, enthusiastic and friendly. During Covid, they have gone above and beyond to make sure there is plenty of safety measures for the children/parents/staff.

Our son started at Chestnut Tree when he was just five months old, and now at nearly five years old, he is set to leave for big school at the end of this month, confident and fully prepared for his next chapter. There have been a few changes at the nursery over the years he has attended, but management
have kept us informed every step of the way and have given us plenty of opportunities to voice any concerns or ideas for improvement. We have always been made to feel included and our son has formed a close bond with the staff and other children. I would highly recommend this nursery for parents looking for a safe place for their children to be cared for and gain independence and all the relevant skills required for primary school.

My daughter has been attending for over a year and I am extremely happy with her development, especially her ability to interact with others and stand up for herself. The staff are kind, professional and led by a fantastic lady. As an educator myself, I can testify that the programme of activities

My grandchild attends The Chestnut Tree Day Nursery. Being from an older generation, I was a bit sceptical, but I am amazed at the progress in his development that he has shown since attending this really good Nursery.
