Looking for an excellent day nursery in Perivale? This long-standing Busy Bees Perivale nursery has been part of the community since 1993 and offers a secure, fun, and stimulating environment for children to develop and flourish.

Conveniently situated within 5-minute walk from Perivale Tube station (Central Line) this Perivale nursery is in a perfect location for parents and carers in the local area or commuting.

They understand that every child is unique and develops at their own pace. That's why the nursery has separate rooms for babies, toddlers, and pre-school children with a wide range of activities and toys for each age. This approach allows the children to grow and develop their confidence alongside those at a similar stage in their journey.

At the Perivale nursery, learning isn't just limited to indoors - they are proud to have a safe and secure outdoor space where kids are free to take their learning exploration outside. They encourage the children to enjoy the fresh air, be active and, most importantly, have lots of fun in the process. It's a space where they can also learn about taking safe risks under the supervision of nursery staff.

Stay in the loop with your child’s activity and developmental progress using the Famly app. The nursery team will frequently upload to your child’s profile, allowing you to see photos and read about what they’ve been busy doing while in their care.

Overall, I am very pleased with Busy Bees at Perivale. The team at the nursery were fantastic at settling my daughter into the nursery since day one. There are taking great care of my child, which reflects on her development in many areas, especially social skills. They provide so many play activities,
which my child love. There is a child monitoring app available, which allows to monitor what is happening throughout the day with pictures and child observations included. Well presented playroom with lots of space, indoor and outdoor too. All staff members are very professional and great with children who are happy to come each day that they do not want to leave. Safety, care and compassion is in the centre of this nursery. I would highly recommend this nursery to friends and family.

Our daughter has attended Busy Bees nursery for almost one year now after I returned to work following maternity leave. From the moment we viewed the nursery, the manager and her team could not do enough to make us feel welcome and accommodate our requests and needs, they even let us return a couple
of times to get a great feel for the place and meet all the key workers to ensure it was the right place for us and our daughter.
Our daughter has always been happy whilst in the care of the staff and we receive regular updates virtually and a full breakdown of her day each time we collect her, the attention to detail is second to none.
It's great to see all the staff interacting with the children, often the chef gets the biggest smile from our daughter!
We're very happy with our choice of nursery, it's a great location, parking on site which makes the drop-offs and pick-ups stress-free, and the opening hours of the centre are great and very suitable for our working schedules.

My daughter has been at this nursery since Jan 2018 and really loves it. I thought it would take her a while to settle in but the staff were so helpful that she settled in much quicker than I anticipated. She is always talking about what they do at the nursery and singing songs they have learnt. All
the staff are very friendly and have made her feel at home. Even on the days when she is not at nursery she wants to go. The outdoor space is so spacious and looked after and it’s nice to see the children running around and playing with scooters etc without the worry of them getting hurt.
The ParentZone app is also excellent as it keeps us in touch with how our child is doing. We can see photos of them doing activities and their progress reports.

My son has been attending Busy Bees Perivale since he turned one. I believe he sees the staff and children kind of like an extended family and that's why we continue to be content and happy leaving him there each day. He is always really keen to get to nursery and play with his classmates and really
enjoys all the activities prepared by the staff.

I have used this nursery for three years with my first child and now my second child has been there almost a year. In all this time, I have nothing but praise and positive regard for the staff and management. There are very high standards in all aspects of the nursery and I find they are constantly
improving and changing things to improve the child’s experience and to communicate well with parents and especially love the app which provides updates throughout the day with photos etc.

Staff are professional all of the time and really do care about the children. There has been very little staff turnover which is always a good indicator of a positive place of work, so it has been lovely that those staff who worked with my first child now are part of my second child’s life which is great continuity of care and really does alleviate any anxiety or concern on leaving very young children for such long periods. They really do contribute to the development and happiness of the children.

My son started at Busy Bees Perivale 10 months ago. He was moving from the nursery he had been attending as a baby so it was not an easy transition initially. He enjoys going to nursery now and his teachers are often mentioned and even part of his imaginative play when at home. He needs no coaxing to
go to nursery and that by itself is a blessing for any parent!

In my experience over the past year, I found Busy Bees has very efficient and friendly staff, extremely clean facilities including a big, cheerfully designed external play area and food cooked fresh on site by friendly chefs. The nursery managers are quick to respond to queries and requests. Also worth mentioning is the Parent Zone online portal. I enjoy its Gallery feature where you can view pictures of your child doing activities etc. I also appreciate the considerable effort and expense that Busy Bees puts into organising various events for children and parents through the year.

My child has been attending Busy Bees Perivale for 6 weeks and loves it. He has settled in really well and is very happy when I collect him at the end of the day. The standard of care is excellent and I trust every worker to have my child's best interests at heart. The communication with me at the end
of the day and through Parentzone is excellent. It makes it much easier leaving your child when you trust that they will have a lovely day. The outdoor space is lovely and the two baby rooms are a good size. My child loves the food and has settled into the nursery routine well. It is excellent value for money as well.

The staff are very friendly and my son really enjoys nursery. The room (baby) is really welcoming and the children seem happy to play in different areas. They put up family photos and have phrases up in different languages which I think is really great for the children to see and learn.

The nursery and staff are great, however, I do find it difficult when I get called to collect my child if, for example, stools are soft as it can be due to teething and is not poorly. I use Busy Bees as my primary care on a full-time basis for 2 kids (1 baby and 2 year old) so to be called frequently
does put a strain on my work.

Our son has been at Busy Bees Hoover since he was seven months old. He is now nearly eighteen months. We chose the nursery because of their friendly staff and good facilities, including an on-site kitchen which caters to our son’s severe allergies without any issues. We feel very lucky with our son’s
main carer who is always happy to have a chat and genuinely seems to care. We can tell he has made friends, whereas before he was quite shy. We don’t speak English at home, but his English language development is going well. He says "Ta" to us a lot now! Our only issue is that the baby room gets very warm, even in winter, and so we have to dress him in layers he can take off during the day.

I cannot commend the nursery enough.

The care and attention that is provided to my baby since day one is really exceptional and the proof is in his happy nature and excitement to go to nursery in the mornings.

The baby room has so many sensory areas and is a warm and comfy space for the little

ones to play and learn. The staff are very warm and caring of the children and very importantly, the whole nursery is spotless and safe.

The food standard is also very high and the children are offered freshly cooked healthy meals every day.

I would not hesitate to recommend this nursery to any parent wanting a home-from-home for their little ones to learn and play.

This nursery is really good on a number of levels and we would happily recommend it to family and friends alike. Our child has been attending for a little over a year, and has been going full-time for approximately 50% of that time.

The staff are always warm in their approach and the attention

they have shown has helped our child develop a strong sense of self which has really helped build confidence. This, I am sure, is in part due to the separation of the children based on their age group and thus allowing them to grow amongst their peers. We were also pleased that there is an on-site chef preparing a variety of foods throughout the week, which has definitely exposed our little one to various food groups.

Being that the nursery is a number of residential properties knocked together, it is well laid out. It's light and always warm inside. The outdoor space is also of a good size and is equipped with a good range of activities.

A very warm and welcoming nursery with friendly, professional and knowledgeable staff, who are attentive and caring. The management is very hands on and know all the children well. There is attention to detail on the development and a focus on your child learning through fun. The diverse menu at Busy
Bees encourages healthy eating and encourages the children to try different foods. The rooms are clean, brightly lit and nicely decorated. I would highly recommend this nursery.

Current Review Score: 8.7 (8.708)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 8.7 (8.708) out of 10 for Busy Bees Perivale Greenford is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 5 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 3.8 out of 5 from 5 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.879 for Busy Bees Perivale Greenford is calculated as follows: ( (51 Excellents x 5) + (7 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 58 Ratings = 4.879
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 3.829 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Busy Bees Perivale Greenford is based on 5 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 = 3.5
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 76 number of registered child places is 15.2. 5 Positive Reviews ÷ 15.2 = 0.329
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
