Bright Horizons Beaufort Park Nursery and Preschool provides high-quality care in the Barnet area for children aged 3 months to 5 years. The nursery has a great location less than half a mile from Colindale tube station and just under a mile from Colindale town centre. It's also close to Beaufort Park and the famous RAF Museum.

Bright Horizons Beaufort Park is designed to support children’s development with their large outdoor garden and roomy indoor spaces. The nursery offers ‘all-inclusive’ care providing nappies, wipes, baby formula and fresh meals prepared by their dedicated on-site chef and have a buggy storage area to help with pick-up and drop-offs.

My child attends nursery essentially full-time and absolutely adores it. Having recently joined the toddler room, I feel she has settled in very well. The environment is very engaging and the staff are warm and committed to the children. It's a good sign, that when pick-up time rolls around, my daughter
is often having so much fun that she's reluctant to leave. It's a great reassurance for me, to know that I'm leaving my child in a place where she is well cared for and I trust the staff implicitly. I would happily recommend Bright Horizons Beaufort Park Nursery and Preschool to my friends and family.

If you are looking to put your child in 2-3s and above, please reconsider. The standard of these rooms is very bad. The staff don't care for the kids and the health and safety of these rooms are very poor. Even after several complaints, the management and the room leader don't care or bother to improve
the situation. They are more focused on numbers as they know that even if you leave, a lot of others will join the nursery. So, they don't really put any effort in improving the care for the children. For the price that you are paying, the nursery is not worth it. Your child will be much more happy in another place.
FYI: The toddlers room is currently okay as it has an excellent room leader. If she leaves, then there is nothing good about this place.

After nearly a month of my son attending Bright Horizons, I would like to take this opportunity to let you know what an amazing job you are all doing.


Everyone at Bright Horizons made it such an easy transition for both of us.


I would like to especially thank the amazing team at the baby room,

who are all so personable and caring and I only see them as members of my family now. When I leave my son, I know he is in the safest hands having lots of fun.


The team have made great efforts in all the activities they do for the children and I am impressed with the display boards in the baby room which are always up to date and current.


The team have taken on board all my comments and feedback and have not shyed away helping me with weaning my son off his dummy, giving him milk at times suitable for me and many other things.


I'm really pleased I chose Bright Horizons as my son's nursery and look forward to many more fun times with you all.

This review relates to the Baby Room. I've seen several nurseries and decided to come here, despite long walk from our home, because of the space both inside and outside, overall cleanliness, and the food freshly-prepared on site.


My child loves the nursery and the staff, and I can see they are helping

my child's development. The equipment appears to be kept well and clean and changes once in a while. Sometimes babies play together with toddlers, which stimulates them.


The daily handover/feedback is good, and you can track your child's development through a well-kept notebook. The weekly newsletter (although sometimes irregular) is a good way to know what's happening around the nursery.


If you have concerns or questions, the staff are happy to deal with them or give you an advice. The staff are generally experienced and appear to be helping each other. Apart from key persons, there are a few temporary staff on busy days, but you'll get to know them as they are always the same.

The location is great, although parking facilities should be more conciliatory considering children are being dropped off and picked up. Our experience is of the toddler room. The carers are great and the feedback and monitoring is pretty good too. The turnover of staff is disappointing and at times
worrying.


There is a lot of information fed back on activities in all rooms, as well as a good attempt at inclusiveness (the recent survey on the food menu and action taken is a good example of that). Safety/security is good and we believe it is a place where a child can thrive. The fees are quite on the high side though.

Overall I'm very happy for my children to be attending this nursery. I have found that any issues that do arise are dealt with immediately and are never repeated again. My children are so happy to come to nursery each morning and I have noticed such a difference in their development. Both children (4
and 1 years) are constantly improving their communication, personal relationships and physical play - couldn't be happier!

Overall, we are very satisfied with the nursery and our child is extremely happy there. The staff are caring towards the children and provide a happy environment for them. There are certainly areas that need improvement which has been highlighted and the nursery could do a better job of resolving these
faster. Which include but are not limited to - room facilities maintenance (i.e hole in the ceiling) getting new toys etc. Very happy with the food quality and choice of food provided. Overall we are very pleased and will definitely recommend it to friends and family.

My son is currently in the baby room. I feel he is well looked after and he is now very attached to the ladies. However, I think the babies should be more involved in more activities to help them develop better their physical and cognitive growth.
I personally do not agree with the use of sand as my
child takes everything into his mouth and I have sometimes found sand in his mouth.

Beaufort Park Nursery features a beautiful shaded outdoor play area, spacious rooms with plenty of stimulating toys and fresh food prepared on site. The room staff have really bonded with our son and it was amazing to see him thrive. The entire team, including office-based staff, know him and it creates
great confidence to see such a degree of involvement from everyone.

My son is leaving the nursery at the end of this week - February 2017.
The staff at the nursery have been excellent in supporting the upcoming transition for him. When he has been a bit more emotional, staff have reassured him. When my son comes home he talks positively of the staff by name.
It has
been a genuine pleasure overall since my son has been attending the nursery.
