Bright Horizons Golders Green Day Nursery and Preschool, located in a beautifully converted house with a tailored curriculum for children aged 3 months to 5 years.

Conveniently close to Golders Green, Brent Cross and Hendon tube stations, it offers extended hours from 7:30am to 6:30pm, making it a great option for commuting parents.

In the Under-twos room, staff mirror home routines to ensure a smooth transition, providing sensory play, role-play activities, and a cozy sleep area.

There’s also a private baby garden complete with a sandpit, teepee, and more.
The 2-3s room is spacious, allowing children to explore freely, with access to their own garden featuring a water play area, planting zones, and a digging space.

The preschool, designed for children aged 3 to 5, helps them prepare for school through the Ready for School programme, focusing on core skills like math, reading, and writing. The preschool also has its own garden and offers interactive activities such as Boogie Mites, a music and movement session enjoyed by all age groups.

Overall the Nursery is good and we all like it. It has responsible and kind stuff, and they are always quite helpful and right here when we have any questions. The facilities and outside places are reasonable and far more enough for kids to use. The meals provided every day are nutritious and our kid
liked them. The everyday feedback sheets most of the time are clear and easy for parents to follow up, however, it does have several times that the sheet is not completed by the key person.

My son has attended Bright Horizons Golders Green Day Nursery and Preschool since he was a baby and is now in the 2-3 room. Staff are wonderful and supportive, they settled him in straight away, he loves going to nursery and will wave bye-bye and walk off. The staff are brilliant with his allergies
to dairy, avocado and soya the chef ensures to cater for my son's needs.
I am very happy with my experience with this nursery and I recommend to any new parents as I've had a wonderful experience as well as my son.

We moved our residence a couple of months back, so the nursery was a new setting for our 19-month old daughter. We also went from 2-days a week to 5-days a week in a nursery setting. Right from the first day, every day, it has been a brilliant experience. Given Covid restrictions, parents can't see
what goes on inside the nursery, however, the joy and excitement on our daughter's face as she enters and leaves the nursery every day is clear and the most definite sign that she loves being there. She is there 9 hours every day, and yet she comes out very excited and not too tired. She has also been learning things very quickly and you can see the staff consciously communicating a lot with the kids and have a real bond with each one of them. Great experience!

Despite all the challenges Bright Horizons Golders Green has been amazing - we love our weekly book from their library and writing our book review together. My almost 3-years-old couldn't be happier running into nursery every day and delights in telling me all about her exciting days, singing me her

Right from the word go, they came across as a nursery, where I would feel comfortable to send my children. Very prompt in response, polite and approachable staff. I also find their management team quite understanding.
A couple of areas where they could modernize:
Get more digital in communicating
daily updates, it is still paper.
Create better online payment options.

It's a great nursery. The long settling period was very helpful for the child to get to know the staff and the new environment. This made the transition for our clingy and very attached daughter much easier. Staff are always friendly, take good care of the kids and try to comfort them whenever needed.
They all know all the kids well and are able to give feedback even if they are not the key person for the child. Children individual needs and preferences are taken into consideration regarding food, sleep and activities they like etc. which is not always the case in other nurseries. This is very comforting that my child would be taken great care in a way she needs.

Asquith has exceeded my expectations as a nursery. Staff are always friendly and greet (both adults and children) with warm smiles. They are also caring and attentive, often wiping children's runny noses, changing them when they get their clothes dirty, cuddling them when they get a bit upset etc. The
long settling session is also very helpful for the staff to get to know the child and for the child to get to know the staff and the new environment. Making it an easy transition when they start full time.
My son always giggles when he is dropped off and this puts my heart at ease when I'm at work, as I know he's having a great time and is in very good, safe hands.

Lovely staff and lovely nursery. I didn’t know about this nursery, I’ve discovered it on one of our walks and decided to check it out and I am really happy I did that. We went for a tour to another nursery and my son, who is a very happy child, cried constantly during the tour, to my surprise.
When
we visited this lovely nursery, my son didn’t cry at all, he even went to pick up a toy so my decision was made and I am really happy I’ve found this nursery.
As a parent, you want the best for your child, and being a new mom was really hard for me to say goodbye but the staff here made it easier. I know, my son is in good hands.
All the staff here are lovely and always smiling and the children are happy.

My daughter has been attending Asquith Golders Green since March and she is definitely enjoying her time there. All staff are kind and caring. It's a joy when she comes back and does new things she has picked up during her time at nursery.


The only thing I would have liked is some kind of online

journal of our children to see what they have done during the day with some photos/videos. I appreciate this is more work for the staff but it would be lovely to see our children having fun in a different environment.

Our daughter started at the nursery when she was close to one and had never spent a day away from us. We were therefore quite nervous to leave her as she was already pretty knowing.


These nerves were quickly allayed as we watched our daughter go from clinging to us and crying when we dropped her

off to not being able to decide which member of staff she wanted to be passed to first in a very short space of time.


This is down to the genuine care and love shown to the children by all of the staff in the baby room and it is apparent how comfortable and happy our daughter is spending the day with them. From the smile and “good morning” from the manager on the way in, to the loving and warm atmosphere created by the staff in the baby room, we leave after having dropped her off happy in the knowledge that she is in the very best care and is genuinely enjoying her day.


We would not hesitate to recommend the nursery to anyone and we are so grateful for everything they have done for our precious daughter.
