We were very sad to leave this nursery. The boys have loved every minute, they have been treated with kindness and they have developed so well because of that. Their manners are above what we have taught them at home. Management has communicated really well during the pandemic. We will all really miss coming here.
My daughter loved going to Ladybird Nursery. The staff took such good care of her. She developed incredibly after starting nursery, her language is clear and at 18 months she is saying over 50 words. The menu is well balanced and she also now eats a wider range of food thanks to what she was introduced to at nursery. We are very sad she has to leave (leaving London). The management is excellent, very well organised and communicative. I felt like my daughter was in exceptional hands.
We are very happy with the nursery because our child enjoys going there. Staff are very nice and we feel our baby is well cared for. Food is good but there is no opportunity to bring food from home. Facilities have been recently upgraded. Management listen to your concerns and are proactive.
Our daughter has been really happy and settled at Ladybird Nursery - Anerley for the past two years. Her teachers have been kind and caring and she has grown in confidence and ability in their care. She will miss them and so will we!
For me, the most important thing in a nursery is that my children are happy and they have both been very happy at Ladybird Nursery - Anerley. I honestly can't remember a single day where they have come home saying they have had a bad day. I have always felt secure that they are very well looked after, the majority of my interactions with the staff have been very good, with the kids always being sad when having to leave their class teacher and move to the next one. The nursery is a good size, not too big and opportunities for the older children interacting with the younger ones, I feel helps development. The manager is great and exudes energy and ideas which filter through the whole nursery.
We have been very happy with our daughter's experience at the nursery. She has enjoyed her time here and always talks enthusiastically about her teachers and peers. When she has needed any special care or attention, especially when settling in at morning times, the teachers have been helpful and made us reassured she could settle.
I think very highly of this nursery, my granddaughter loves going and the level of care is exemplary.
Great care, friendly welcoming environment. Staff and management very attentive to parents requests and feedback.
Fantastic! Friendly, caring staff who work incredibly hard to provide first-rate childcare. Children are happy, healthy and learn fast. Our daughter is always excited to go and sad to leave. Highly recommended.
I have had two boys going to this nursery for up to seven years and would recommend it without a doubt to anyone. Both my boys had a wonderful time going to this nursery and were well-prepared for school.
Our little boy has been going to Ladybird Nursery - Anerley for the past couple of years since he was one. We considered other options - nanny, childminder, and nursery, we're so pleased we chose Ladybird Nursery. Our little boy loves his time there, it's such a caring setting in a family owned nursery - which has really supported our son's development. We are sad to leave as we're moving up north. We would (and already have) recommended the nursery to others.
Our little boy was one when he started at Ladybird Nursery - he's leaving in a few weeks to start school. The time he's spent here has been wonderful, both for him and for us. The staff are friendly and great with the children, whether that's playing with them, encouraging learning or managing behaviour (which can be tricky in a class largely full of boys!). All the parents we've met have been as happy as we are and, most importantly, the children are happy.
There's a real sense that each child is taken on their own merits and encouraged to grow, which is all you can ask for at this stage. It'll be emotional watching our son leave on his final day, but also wonderful knowing he's been given a great start by a brilliant nursery.
The children were so obviously happy and well looked after, it was a complete no-brainer when it came to choosing it for our son. He was just one when he joined and settled in extremely quickly. We had daily updates on how he was getting on and felt comfortable chatting to his key worker about anything that cropped up.
It's clear that the staff really care about the children and take the time to get to know them. The children take part in a wide range of activities and the food is varied and nicely balanced, which is no mean feat when it comes to feeding kids! Over the 3 years my son's been there, he's flourished. He's happy, confident, articulate and has made a lovely group of friends. We'll be really sorry to say goodbye at the end of the month.
We looked at several nurseries when looking for childcare for our daughter. We chose Anerley Ladybird because during the tour the staff seemed to genuinely care for the kids and the facilities were good (big rooms, separate changing areas in the baby rooms, reasonably big outdoor space, etc). Our daughter attended Anerley Ladybird from 9 months old until she started school and we were always happy with our choice. Our impressions during the tour had been right, the staff really did care and our daughter was clearly very happy at nursery.
Our son attended Ladybird Nursery from the age of two until the start of school. Before choosing a nursery, we scoped out several and found Ladybird the best by far. We immediately warmed to both the staff and the setting, and our son settled in easily. Throughout our son's time there, we have found everyone to be open and approachable. We've received regular, helpful reports on our son's progress. The management are easy to deal with - everything is very well run. The food is great - freshly prepared on site. (I think the kids eat better than I do! There are lots of activities for the kids and opportunities for parents to get involved. The staff provide a kind, friendly, caring environment and our son has blossomed into a confident, articulate little boy more than ready for school. We've all made lots of friends there and will be sad to leave. We highly recommend the nursery, and the Christmas play - Yep, it's a cracker!!!
I found deciding on childcare arrangements when I returned to work quite stressful but it was clear from the start, that Ladybird offer a caring, conscientious and nurturing environment and I needn't have worried. The manager is very approachable and keen to listen and act on any queries or issues you may have. The Christmas show is amazing and there are regular opportunities for feedback sessions with the staff. In terms of the staff, they genuinely care for all the children and are keen to help them develop whilst also having fun. I highly recommend this nursery to all parents.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this nursery. My son started when he was 10 months old. His induction was managed well and in a short space of time, I felt extremely confident that he was receiving very good care. Soon my son changed from being very shy to having a large group of close friends and talking very positively about his teachers. He enjoyed the nursery so much, there were a few embarrassing pick ups when he didn't want to leave. The staff are personable and it's very clear that they have a genuine interest in the children, their needs and development. There are regular meetings with the key worker to go through their Early Years development milestones. The children are given lots of opportunities to be creative with numerous artwork being sent home each term. The food they receive is great; freshly cooked on site. My son has thrived here. He loves the staff, he's made a lovely group of friends and we will be very sad to say goodbye when he starts school.
This nursery is the best thing that happened to us since my son was born. He spent there 3 very happy years, surrounded by fantastic staff, who always took a special interest in his needs and made him and us feel special. The nursery really feels like home and you can really see that everyone gets truly attached to children and takes personal interest in their development. Other than doing everything they can to prepare children for their transition to school, they also offer lots of love, cuddles and fun! We are extremely happy with the nursery and very sad, that our journey with them is now over and it's time for school. Thank you Ladybird Nursery, I really don't know what we would do without you!
This is a great place for your child! My daughter has been going for 1.5 years at Ladybird Anerly and we could not be more complimentary of the staff and care given to the children. All staff are super friendly and my daughter has loved every minute she has been attending. Well organised and exciting activities throughout the year and lots and lots of outdoor play! It's not the biggest place but certainly makes up for it in professionalism. I would highly recommend this to other parents looking for a safe, fun and engaging environment for their child!
Ladybird Nursery is a brilliant place of childcare. My two children have previously attended this wonderful place of care, which they thoroughly enjoyed. One child who attended from the age of 3-4 still talks about his great time there! I am pleased to say that the nursery prepared my son excellently for pre-school, thoroughly enhancing his communication skills. My daughter attended the nursery at the tender age of 6 months and was extremely well cared for, she was able to develop her social skills.
