Little Learners Nursery & Pre-School (St Nicholas Avenue)

My grandson so enjoys his nursery days. I would thoroughly recommend this nursery.

Our little one has loved his time at Little Learners; he has grown so much and is well prepared for moving on to school. The staff are so kind and supportive and have made the nursery so fun and welcoming for our little one. We have our second joining Little Learners this week; we can't wait for her to start!

Great nursery and pre school - my eldest child recently left for big school and my youngest is due to start in the new year. The staff are friendly and professional and the children adore them. The children always have the best time at Little Learners

It is a fantastic nursery, well managed with excellent well-trained staff. Staff are so helpful they will and have gone above and beyond. When it comes to looking after your little ones just like they did for our little boys. I recommend to all parents this nursery.

In my opinion, the best place to send your little one. Both my sons have attended little learners from ten months until starting school and each have loved going there. My youngest is in the pre school room and the love and care the team put into ensuring he is a happy kind boy is excellent. He has grown close bonds with various staff members and often talks about them at home. His development has come on leaps and bounds since attending and I know from my eldest the preparation they do is wonderful for making the transition from nursery to school so much smoother. We get regular photos and information on his day on the app which is great to see when we are working.

Fast forward to my son now being at the nursery for five months…. He absolutely loves it here! I drop him off and there are no tears which make leaving him that little bit easier. I love the App, I love the little updates and photos I get. My son looks genuinely happy and loves his ladies. He has really blossomed here and I can’t wait to see how he continues to grow!

Little Learners Nursery and Pre-school is a fantastic nursery! My son was very happy there and now my daughter is too. She is always excited to see her friends there and really enjoys the wide range of activities. They have a great garden with lots to do and that is a particular favourite with my daughter.

The app is brilliant as we get daily updates with what he has eaten etc. We love seeing photos of him doing the activities too.

My son is always happy to go to nursery and likes to see all the staff and his friends, his focus and ability to follow instructions has improved a lot. He has been learning lots of life skills as well as learning about words and numbers.

My daughter is very happy at the nursery, she always learning new things and the nursery is very organised, very clean, well decorated with a very nice outdoor play area. The staff are very polite and supportive. They always update me about my daughter's daily activities at the nursery. My daughter loves the nursery so much that she doesn't want to leave to go to big school in September '21. She will miss the nursery and all the staff.

My daughter started here shortly before her first birthday and has grown to love the children and staff deeply. The staff here genuinely care about your child's happiness and progress equally. How they manage to seamlessly 'tick all the boxes' and keep the children smiling all day every day is a sheer miracle. I am so sad to leave what has become an extension of our own home. Thank you to everyone at Little Learners, without your influence my child wouldn't be the funny, kind, loving little lady she is. You will all be so very missed.

My daughter joined the nursery shortly after she turned one year old. The nursery staff are friendly, approachable and they really helped my little one to settle in when she first started attending. We absolutely love getting regular updates on the app. It’s helpful to know that she’s taking part in different activities and eating a wide range of food. We are so happy to have this lovely nursery in our neighbourhood.

Excellent nursery and staff are very hardworking and self-motivated. My son has been with the nursery since 9 months of age and he is now 4. He loves the place and we can see significant early years development in him. The nursery remained open during the tough lockdown period. Arrangements made by the nursery for the safety of children, staff and family were satisfactory.

Little Learners is a fantastic setting. Our little one has special needs and has attended since 11 months old and is now 4. Little Learners have supported his development and provided excellent support throughout his time, liaising with the Havering SENCO and putting additional provisions in place for him. The setting communicates with parents daily and we receive picture updates of what our child is doing at nursery. Meal options are wholesome foods and they have an onsite cook. Nursery days are a joy and our son looks forward to going. Would highly recommend Little Learners.

My daughter has been in the pre-school room since September and in just four months, the nursery has made a huge difference to her. With a slight speech delay, there are some aspects of her development that are a little behind, but Little Learners have been amazing with her and her speech has come on so much since she started. Every day she is so happy to go in. Two members of staff, in particular, are brilliant and I know they are preparing her for school, at her own pace and at her level of development. I only wish she had been with you longer.

My little one absolutely loves going to Little Learners. The staff are all really friendly and supportive. They’re constantly thinking of new ways/activities to engage the children and we’ve even started using some of their techniques at home. Parents are kept updated of their child’s progress and updates/photos are regularly added to the parents' app for parents to see. It’s lovely to have a sneaky peek at what the children are doing. The nursery has also been brilliant throughout the pandemic, keeping parents well informed and implementing safety measures to keep staff and children as safe as possible. I would highly recommend this nursery.

I can't give enough praise to Little Learners since our son joined. He’s our first child, was 9 months old when he started and, as a lockdown baby, hadn’t had interaction with many people. I was worried about nursery - how he’d adjust to people and long days away from home, but by the end of the first week, all my worries were gone. The staff gave him so much support and comfort that he adjusted quickly. All the team continually provide wonderful care and he absolutely loves nursery. I’m also very impressed with how the nursery is run. Every month we receive a new itinerary of activities, which shows how well entertained they are and keeps us involved in what he’s learning so we can carry on that month’s activities at home, which is great fun. He's well-fed, with a well-varied menu and home-cooked meals. The Tapestry app is also fantastic. The photos of his painting, playing and park trips make our day. It also keeps us up to date on his development milestones. I can't recommend enough!

I cannot rate Little Learners Nursery highly enough. I was extremely impressed with how they managed the induction process, very reassuring and supportive -to both us as parents and our daughter! Our daughter settled in remarkably quickly and absolutely loves going to nursery. The workers are energetic, passionate and professional. My daughter's key worker is especially great. She has made suggestions that have really helped like books to read to support my daughter to stop biting and creams that might help with her dry skin. We especially love the Tapestry app the nursery uses to upload photos and videos of what our daughter does on day-to-day. This includes uploading nap times, bowel movements and meals. The manager is knowledgeable, approachable and professional. I raised a query about my daughter's nappy changes and she responded swiftly and appropriately. Do not hesitate to send your child to Little Learners! It is an outstanding nursery!

One of the things I have been impressed with in recent months is how the nursery has reassured parents that their children are safe during the covid 19 pandemics. Whether that be updating parents on the strict policies and cleaning procedures in place or reassuring messages and pictures that are uploaded on to the app regularly. As a parent, there is nothing better than receiving pictures and videos of your children looking happy and having fun when you can't be with them. I couldn't think of anywhere else I would rather send my children than this nursery. Credit to the hardworking and caring staff.

I couldn’t be happier with the development of our daughter here. She absolutely loves attending and she has thrived ever since she started. The relationship between the staff and children is first class and daily learning is very well structured. I honestly don’t have a negative word to say and I’m so pleased we chose this nursery.
