The staff are amazing, helpful and supportive.

We couldn't be happier with our experience at this nursery. From day one, the team has been incredibly attentive, caring, and genuinely joyful in the way they interact with the children. It's clear that they take the time to understand each child as an individual and tailor their approach to what works best for them. One of the standout aspects has been how quickly our son settled in. Their warmth and engagement created an environment where he felt safe, comfortable, and excited to be there. Communication is excellent. We receive detailed daily updates that give real insight into his day what he's been learning, how he's been feeling, and even the little moments that make you smile. The regular photo updates on the app are a lovely touch too. The nursery itself is well-organised and clearly maintained to a high standard. There's also a nice small outdoor play area, which gives the children a chance to get fresh air. They provide variety and quality of meals.

My two children have been in step by step super happy and well adapted with the staff and the other children, we were always delighted with the staff for how they made them feel at home, family. nothing bad in my experience.

My son has been attending Step by Step Day Nursery for the past 3 years. I have always felt comfortable leaving him as I know he will be taken care of and in good hands. My son has grown and developed so much over the years and have learnt so much! This nursery provided a good foundation for my son and im very grateful to all the lovely staff who has helped him over the years!

All 3 of my kids attended Step by Step Lewisham. The staff are lovely and they go above and beyond for the children. My child will really miss Step by Step. Thank you for all your support Step by Step.

Both my sons have been very happy at Step by Step. The staff are friendly and approachable and keep me updated with how the boys are doing. I'm provided lots of updates via the app on all the activities they're doing and staff are always available to talk about any queries. Recent trips have included Mudchute farm, the local fire station and the library. It's a small nursery so a real personal community feel where everyone knows you and your kids.

Two of my kids had gone to Step by Step and I must say I was happy with the staff and how they looked after my kids and the activities they do is amazing. My kids were happy and loved it there. They have plenty of staff to accommodate your child. I liked the fact that on rainy days my kids were indoors and not out in the rain! They are like a family and will be missed, now that both of my kids have gone to primary. All staff are amazing and thank you all for caring for my kids and for the warmth they felt. And not to mention two members of staff in particular, thank you for comforting my kids when they felt tearful due to my absence. Overall the nursery is 10/10. Staff are kind, caring and loving and the kids had fun whilst in their care. I knew my kids were safe in their hands. To the manager, thank you for everything and I am happy I made the right choice. Thanks for everything you do and did and not leaving me with any sorts of doubts or worries.

My son has been so happy over the last couple of years at Step by Step. The staff are so caring and really go the extra mile to make sure kids are happy, well adjusted and learning. They address any concerns or questions quickly and work with parents to ensure kids are supported and happy. As he starts his new journey into reception he’s really going to miss his Step by Step carers and friends!

So overall I'd highly recommend Step-by-Step.

Thank you for everything.

They really love the children and care about them. My daughter is really happy and smiling when I drop her off and pick her up, which is lovely to see. Also, my daughter used to be really shy, but now she has confidence and has started to come out of her shell and has really blossomed. My daughter has started walking recently and has so much confidence when walking. The staff are really friendly and supportive. I can not speak more highly, and I am really happy.

The staff at Step by Step Day Nursery just love children. They care for and nurture them every day. Every single time I dropped my daughter off, she was greeted with smiles and enthusiasm, and she loved it. Thank you so much!

My daughter has been at Step by Step for last year and a half and has thrived. It's such a friendly and warm place, with lots of laughter from kids and staff. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursery.

For the time our daughter spent at Step by Step, we feel she has progressed so much. There was not a day that went by she didn't ask about going to nursery. We are very sad that she will be leaving, and wish she could stay! We thank the staff for everything they have done with her, and they will be missed very much!
