The staff are welcoming and happy to talk through the child's day. Also using the app means you get to see photos of your child engaging in activities, have an easy way to communicate with staff and read nursery news.

Staff pay a great deal of attention to children’s progress and emotional well-being. We have been very pleased in our decision to send our child here.

I can’t recommend Riverston Nursery and Pre-school enough. The carers are incredible and have such a lovely relationship with the children. I have 2 children attending and both of my girls love going to nursery every day. There is a great balance between education and play with the added benefit of music class, yoga and forest school. Everything is thought through on how best to support the children as they progress through the nursery, into preschool and beyond. The head and her team are so approachable and friendly, there’s a real positive atmosphere at the nursery.

Great to see the involvement with a variety of charities and a real focus on diversity and inclusion. Recently had a new app put in place which is great.

I had to move my daughter from Riverston due to changing job and location, but I still wanted to leave a review as my daughter was here from 9 months to 18 months old and learnt to walk, sing nursery rhymes and develop so much at this nursery that we were all sad to leave! She really came into her own here and every morning would wait by the door at home to see her teacher.. even at weekends, when I would have to tell her, there was no nursery on that day. Teachers are just all so nice and caring, and as a single mum, they supported me with care, during lockdown when I lost my job. I could not have gotten through those dark days without them. Thank you so much! I will be sending her back to Riverston when she is older, as that is how much I value not only the Nursery but the Riverston Values and Ethics.

From the very first day our son went to Riverston nursery, he absolutely loved it. He was just over one at the time, and he has come on leaps and bounds since being there, his vocabulary and phonics are great for a two-year-old. When we ask him about his friends at nursery, he often mentions the staff too, and when passing school during the lockdown, he would often cry because he couldn't go in! The teachers are so friendly and caring, and the information provided about his activity is great. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending this nursery to anyone.

Wonderful nursery and pre-school. The staff are lovely, supportive and caring. My children have come on leaps and bounds and this is down to the staff. All 3 of my children have attended the nursery and pre-school, I highly recommend them. The managers are fantastic, they are very helpful and knowledgable. We will miss them all.

The staff are wonderful and very caring. Our son really enjoys his time at the nursery. We are so happy with Riverston School Nursery.

The nursery and preschool staff have always been extremely kind, professional and caring. Communication is excellent and I was always informed as to how my child was interacting with others forming new friendships and her learning abilities. In preschool the weeks curriculum is full, making learning fun and informative, they even teach French which I love. Overall we have been very happy here and sad to leave.

Riverston School Nursery & Early years is just the best. The staff are very approachable and they look after the children very well. In fact, my daughter is always excited about going to nursery every day and the learning environment is beautiful.

Riverston School Nursery is outstanding - the staff are so kind and caring and have a real connection with each of the children and you can see that they truly care about them. Our daughter started when she was nine months old and we are amazed on a daily basis about how she has developed and what she learns at nursery. The curriculum is structured but adaptable with a real focus on helping the children to develop relationships and navigate softer skills which gives us confidence in the governance and management of the nursery. There is great communication with daily updates and photos on our daughter's day, regular emails from the headmistress and parents evenings to discuss her progress. Our daughter absolutely loves it there and it's hard to get her to leave! It's a really special place and I'm so glad that our daughter has started her education at Riverston - we will be so sad when she has to leave!

There are varied weekly and seasonal activities for nursery that engage children.

Both my daughters loved their time here and I would highly recommend it to others!

This nursery and Pre-school is fantastic, it has a very calm atmosphere, staff are friendly and approachable. My child is happy to go to school, and is achieving and learning at a high standard.
