Puddle-Ducks Nursery

My daughter has started attending Puddle Ducks in January. The nursery is a caring, warm and nurturing environment. I was impressed by how attentive and caring the staff are, they always make sure my daughter is content whilst helping her develop. The staff are teaching her to eat by herself, put her coat on etc. The activities are well thought out and varied to keep children stimulated and offer them plenty of learning opportunities. The large outside space is amazing especially considering we are in London. The mealtimes are well planned and the children receive all the assistance and time needed to make sure they are properly fed. The nursery is always tidy and clean. The manager is the icing on the cake: she is extremely personable, attentive and considerate, she always takes the time to chat with me and listen to any of my concerns and offers helpful, practical advice. We are very happy at Puddle Ducks, there is a joyful atmosphere at the nursery and I would highly recommend it.

I have found Puddle-Ducks to be extremely friendly and professional in all aspects of the business. The nursery manager cares for the children as if they were her own, and imparts this to the carers in the classes.

When I first had a tour of the nursery, I was very pleased to see that most of the children who were in the Pre-School class had started in the first Baby class. That gave me great confidence that parents had started their children at the nursery and stayed with the nursery until they were ready for school. All the children were so happy and well adjusted.

During my childs settling in period, I spent several hours over 4 days sitting in the class. I was amazed at the carers love and patience for the children. When I went to sit outside the class (out of sight of my baby), I then was able to observe the children in the other classes and was so pleased to see each one happy in their 'work', smiling and laughing and so well behaved!

Our daughter has been attending at Puddle-Ducks nursery since September 2016 and we are both very pleased. Facilities are spacious, clean and there is lot of good outdoor space too. Stuff is always smiling, friendly and genuinely caring for babies and their wellbeing. A few times I have asked special requests relating to my daughter's food and they have been always supportive. I would definitely recommend Puddle-Ducks Nursery as I can definitely see my daughter happiness when there and it makes a huge difference.

Our daughter started attending Puddle Ducks at 8 months old. She is now 2.5 years and still loves going there everyday. The staff are very kind and knowledgeable. They do a lot of fun activities and taught her about sharing and tidying up after herself, which really worked for us! The garden was also very important to us and they all seem to love playing outside. The staff are very involved in the major stepping stone moments such as introducing solid food, drinking from a cup, holding a pen properly, potty training, counting, etc... There is a good balance between teaching them how to be well behaved, and when they can have unconditional fun. There is an overall "happy" mood at the nursery and they always welcome our daughter with a big smile and an even bigger "Bonjour"! We are overall very happy with Puddle Ducks and would definitely recommend this nursery.

My son has been at Puddleducks for well over a year now, since he was 10 months old.

Puddleducks has provided him with a wonderful environment in which to grow and explore, with cuddles from the excellent carers never far away. Although they are not frightened of disciplining the children when needed, this is always done gently and using explanations so that the child feels included as opposed to reprimanded.

The facilities are excellent, and they use the outside space as much as they can which is a great outlet for boisterous toddlers. All in all, Puddleducks had been a brilliant second chapter of our son's life so far. He is a happy, confident little boy with constantly improving manners and we know that the nursery has played a significant role in this.

Puddle Ducks nursery was a terrific start to our son’s academic and social pursuits outside his home. Everyday he was welcomed with so much warmth and joy that it became easy for my wife and I to focus on our respective jobs. The long opening hours ensure that there is a good buffer before the nursery closes, in case one is running late. The staff lead by their manager, are very attentive and loving. We observed that the nursery premises were clean and well maintained. Highly recommended!
