My child has been attending Puddle-Ducks Nursery since the age of one. What I can notice first-hand is that he is always eager to go to nursery and has a big smile at pick-up time. He is learning lots of songs and loves Thursdays the most, as that is the day in which a specialist Spanish teacher comes to the nursery and introduces the children to the language. From my personal experience, the staff is very caring and friendly, very attentive to children's needs and supportive with parents. The outdoor space is great and the staff never misses an occasion to let the children play outside - be it with toy cars, balls, making music or simply singing along. Children are also encouraged to do hands-on activities, such as baking - and I must say the results are delicious!

Our little boy has been attending Puddle-Ducks now for almost two months. We chose the nursery because we had heard so many positive things about it from our friends who also send their children there. We’ve only ever felt delighted that we also chose such a lovely nursery. The staff are all extremely kind and caring and they clearly love the children they work with very much. We get regular updates and photographs of our little boy taking part in exciting and engaging activities. Within the short time he has been attending the nursery we have noticed that he’s made so much progress in all areas of his development. We would certainly recommend the nursery!

I have just recently had a viewing at Puddle-Ducks Nursery and it is a very calm environment for the children and I can see new resources within the rooms.

I have now signed my daughter up for 2022 and they are having the garden redone, the plans look amazing!

Two of my children have attended the nursery over the last two years and we have had an overwhelmingly positive experience with all staff there. Both of my children have been very happy there and we are sad to have left. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Our child has attended this nursery for two years and is now leaving to go to primary school.
Puddle Ducks is with no doubt ‘home away from home’ for children, it is run with a very authentic family feeling combined with high professionalism.
This business is largely about selecting and managing the best people to look after our children and the management is very good at it.
The staff did a great job with us supporting both our child and us parents in all phases from start to transition from room to room, understanding how critical certain phases are for a family and encouraging progress in a very safe environment.
Early Years curriculum is explained to families and is delivered consistently with visible progress in children who are encouraged to learn in a disciplined but fun way; family events (summer and Xmas parties) are occasions of engagement – and fond memories! - for children and parents.

Also, communication with families in formal/informal occasions is precise and detailed.

We cannot even begin to say how much we appreciate Puddle Ducks. Our daughter always has a wonderful time there and has learnt so much since being there the last year. I also cannot speak highly enough of the truly lovely staff who make us and our daughter feel so comfortable. The nursery has such a warm and friendly feeling with clear focus given to the children's creativity and enjoyment while still encouraging learning.

Our son started at Puddle Ducks in 2016 aged 11 months and had a tough time settling in but staff were so patient and bent over backwards to help him and us. He has thrived ever since and adores his days there. Beautiful big garden, friends, varied activities. Turnover of staff has been low for some time so there is consistency for the children and staff are always friendly and helpful. He has really grown and developed and they have been a huge part of this with helping to set boundaries, encouraging good manners and supporting with potty training. Love this place!

Our two daughters currently attend the nursery, which we are very happy with.

The nursery is located in a quiet part of Putney, away from main roads, and has good security. It also has a large garden in which the children can play. Food is cooked on site, and the nursery can provide breakfast if an early drop off is required.

There are a number of trips/visits each term to enable the children to learn about things such as the local library, the fire brigade, etc. And there is also a Christmas play, a summer fair, and regular parents feedback days.

At pick up time, the staff give feedback on what activities the children have conducted during the day, what they have eaten, how they have performed, etc.

Overall we are very happy with the nursery and would recommend it to any other parents in the area.

Our girl has been attending at Puddle Ducks' since she was 1 till 2 and half and loved it! The only reason why she is not there any more is because we had to relocate abroad.
The staff are smiling and friendly both with us and kids. They have the ability to take care of each child differently, according to their own character and need.
During the months before our departure, I have had a second child too and the nursery manager supported my girl to approach the changes in the smoothest way possible. We discussed it and then she shared with the staff instructing them to help my girl through all the changes in her life.
The nursery manager is open to honest feedback willing to support and make the Nursery a better place for the kids. Multicultural facility able to approach multicultural families.

For our departure they have prepared a book collection with all the moments captured since she was there at the beginning. We still look at it from time to time.

This Nursery is a hidden gem.
The staff became so quickly like family, our daughter was, straight away, feeling at home, she never cried and truly loved this place.
We sadly had to leave as we moved away to Battersea and my only wish is to find the same Nursery.
Will be a real challenge.

The Nursery Manager is the soul of this Nursery, lively, friendly, caring, it transpires through the whole place.

The staff and manager at Puddle Ducks have created a wonderful and caring environment which made going back to work and leaving my little lady an option I felt confident to take.

I cannot sing the praises of the staff enough. From the supportive manager who reassured me from the first visit; to the relentless kindness and care that the staff of baby room one have shown my daughter. They are superhuman.

My daughter loves coming here and even on the days when she doesn't want to leave her mummy she is welcomed with a cuddle and settles before I have left the building.

The feedback from the day is comprehensive, and most importantly I know how happy my child has been rather than just how many nappies she has gone through. She seems to have different activities and enriching days every week which is very important to me.

A wonderful nursery.

Puddle Ducks is fantastic nursery school who have your child's needs at heart and where kids are happy to go. Staff are welcoming and committed.

The environment is friendly. Their teachers definitely made a difference in children academic lives. Would recommend this school to anyone. My son is sad to leave. A big thank you to Puddle Ducks Putney.

My daughter has started at Puddle Ducks in January '17 when she was 2 and we cannot be happier for the choice we have made.
Since joining the nursery my daughter has flourished in all aspects of her development, including the social, intellectual, physical aspects and in her communication skills. This is the result of the warm and happy learning environment, with set routines that combine multiple stimulating activities throughout the day with healthy food and a nap.
The staff make the difference: they are caring, affectionate, proactive and professional. Every child has a key person who closely follows them and my daughter loves hers! The nursery manager takes extremely good care of the nursery, is very approachable and has always provided concrete follow-up actions to address any request.

Puddle Ducks offers outstanding standards of care and education and I wholeheartedly recommend it to all parents looking for a safe and happy place where their children can thrive while having fun!

Although we discovered Puddle Ducks by chance, we now feel blessed.

It's about 25 minutes walk from home but I would change nursery for nothing in the world. Many things make it exceptional: the space, the learning methods, the rigorous organisation, the level of proficiency of the personnel. But if I had to sum it all up, I would say that it's mostly the manager who managed to infuse a magical equilibrium in that institution: kindness, rigour, communication skills, a level of professionalism and enthusiasm for working with children. Obviously, she's inspired by her boss who has about 30 years experience in the job of raising children. But what she's achieving there is nonetheless remarkable.

To the parents who would be put off by the average Ofsted assessment ("Good") I can only advise to come and see by themselves. We visited many nurseries in Putney before Puddle Ducks and some of them marked "Outstanding" are far from providing the same level of services as Puddle Ducks.

My son started at Puddle-Ducks in August 2016 (aged 12 months). I have been really pleased with how well he has settled in and with the care he is receiving. Whilst it naturally takes time for a baby to adjust to being at nursery, the settling in process at Puddle-Ducks is structured so that it is a gentle transition for all concerned.

My son genuinely enjoys his days at nursery (quite often there isn't even a backwards glance!). He has developed a lovely relationship with his key worker and the other members of staff in his room.

The nursery engages with parents well. From the initial settling in discussions and detailed daily feedback conversations through to the monthly newsletters and annual progress reviews - I feel I can have open and honest discussions about my son's needs/progress and importantly that we can work in partnership on key matters (ensuring consistency in approach between nursery and home).

I wouldn't (and don't) hesitate in recommending this nursery to others.

My son started attending Puddle-Ducks nursery when he was 10 months old only and since the very first day we felt he was comfortable and cared for and always thought he was in safe hands.
The friendly and smiling team at Puddle-Ducks always provided all the care and fun my son needed while he was growing.

We have been extremely happy with their services and they did not let us down in any way.

My son started at Puddleducks when he was 7 months old. He is now 2 and he has loved being there. The staff are great with him and he has a lovely relationship with them, they are affectionate, enthusiastic, fun, helpful and kind.
The activities are varied, educational and fun. The kids get outside often and the big garden is a real bonus in the area.
The food is interesting and varied, my son eats very well there and enjoys his meals. He has had some medical issues and the nursery has handled everything on that side very well.

Overall, Puddleducks has been great for us.

My daughter has attended Puddle Ducks since she was one, she is three and a half now and getting ready to enter the school system in September. It will be a very sad day when she leaves for both her and me.
Since starting, my daughter has had some of the most amazing, kind, compassionate and knowledgeable key teachers. There is an overwhelming feeling of nature and nurture, which my daughter has thrived on.
The level she is at is the same as my six-year-old nephew, in confidence, ability and inquisitiveness which just shows how dedicated Puddle Ducks are to getting the children ready for the school system but with a strong sense of FUN.

When I ask my daughter who her best friends are she names them plus the names of her teachers, that says it all.

When I had my second child I had not doubts whatsoever that he too will be attending Puddleducks as my elder son. My elder son goes to school now, but he just LOVED his time in Puddleducks and was extremely upset when it was his last day there. My younger son (19 months) is also very happy at the nursery. The staff and management are great, always very smiley and positive which is very important when dealing with kids.

I can only praise the staff for their hard work and enthusiasm. I also really like that there is a big garden away from all the traffic (which is very rare in Putney), so kids can spend a lot of time outside in warm weather. My elder son didn't even want to go home sometimes as he was having too much fun in the garden in summer. The days are also very structured, there is a good routine and kids have a few activities a day - something that I really value. Overall, I really love this nursery and it will be a sad day when I finally have to say goodbye to everyone.

Since starting at Puddleducks, our little girl has come on leaps and bounds. The nursery seems to have a good balance between more formal learning (through circle times...etc.) and more informal free flow activities. Coming from a nursery with no outdoor space, the huge garden was a big draw for us. The setting is perhaps a little stricter than I would have liked, but I don't think this is necessarily a bad thing. Certainly, the children are all very polite and well behaved, especially at mealtimes. The manager is always happy to listen and work with parents to ensure the best possible settling in process, we spent a while working in partnership to help the transition for us. It helps that she is always on hand to respond promptly to emails, this is much appreciated. The staff are always happy, and we enjoy the thorough handover we have with our key worker at the end of the day. All in all, a very good nursery - would recommend!
