Puddle-Ducks Nursery

Our daughter joined Puddleducks when she was 14 months old and we've never looked back. The teachers are all really dedicated and caring and her development has been fantastic. Excellent facilities within a nurturing friendly environment, we'd certainly recommend Puddleducks- well done team and keep up the great work with our precious little ones!

Since they have done a new garden and refurbished the nursery, it looks great, my kid loves playing outside using the muddy kitchen, going on the the pond, playing on the boat sand area, running after the hens or playing ball around. The staff members are caring and loving, they organised at least 2 shows per year (Easter and Christmas) for the parents and siblings to attend, to see the children works and progresses and meet with others parents. On top of that, once per term parents are inviting to a formal meeting with your child main carer to discuss your child development and how you can support him, that's great. Also, the opening times of the nursery work well for us having to combine drop off and pick up of my other child going to school. The only down side might be the food which could be improved, as a french family we are not used to have curry or slightly spicy food for example. Overall we are happy with the service provided.

We are very happy with the nursery. The staff are attentive, friendly, and consistently cheerful, which makes a real difference to the children's experience.

Our child has developed great behaviour and manners since joining, and always comes in and out smiling and settled.

There have been lots of positive changes under the new manager, including engaging new activities such as sports and teeth brushing, which we really value. The approach feels innovative and well thought through.

Overall, we are extremely happy with the care, environment, and development our child is receiving.

Our daughter has been at Puddle Ducks since she was 9 months old and we couldn't be happier with the nursery. The staff are all so friendly, caring and attentive, and she is always happy to run in and see them every morning. When we pick her up at the end of the day she is always beaming. She gets up to so many activities, with a big focus each day on being outside. The outside space is amazing , especially for a London nursery. We are thrilled with Puddle Ducks, and our daughter (now 18 months) is growing in confidence by the day.

Both our children go to Puddle Ducks and they both love it. We've been very happy with the care and adore the team. My daughter will start school in fall and PD have prepared her for this next step. We highly recommend! Plus it has an amazing outdoor space, very rare for London.

I couldn't be happier with Puddle Ducks Nursery. My son has been attending since he was just 5 months old, and now, as he approaches 2 years old, it's been amazing to see how much he has grown and developed during his time there.

Since the change in management in January, the improvement has been incredible. The nursery is truly going from strength to strength. Communication with parents is excellent, and it makes such a difference feeling informed and involved in your child's day-to-day experiences.

The new manager, Louisa, is always visible, incredibly approachable, and clearly passionate about creating a nurturing and positive environment for the children.

My son absolutely loves the activities on offer, especially the external football coaching and the forest school sessions. The beautiful garden and outdoor space are a real highlight and give the children plenty of opportunities to explore and play outside.

My daughter has been enjoying her time at Puddle-Ducks since she started back in the fall of 2024. We moved to London from the US and therefor our daughter was hesitant to start a new daycare. But she was welcomed with open arms and quickly acclimated. She made many friends and is now thriving. She often returns from Puddle-Ducks singing new songs and impressing us with her verbal skills and maths skills. We have enjoyed the events Puddle-Ducks has organized as well as the arts and crafts our daughter comes home with. Additionally, the care providers at Puddle-Ducks are all very kind and patient. And our daughter seems to enjoy the food they prepare for her.

We have been Puddleducks 'customers' for 4 years now and were very sad to say good bye as my 2 girls have gone on to school. It's a very happy nursery and I always felt that my girls were safe, cared for and had loads of fun at nursery there. They were engaged with loads of varied and fun activities, had a lovely time in the wonderful garden and got lots of care and cuddles from staff. Am very grateful to the nursery for everything over past few years. Would recommend.

I can't say enough good things about Puddle Ducks Nursery! My two children have been attending for about 2 years, and in that time, whenever I had any queries they were dealt with very quickly. The facilities are top-notch, and the beautiful garden and playground are such magical spaces for the children to explore. The best one I've seen yet and the food is healthy. The manager is so supportive, and attentive and is always about creating a passionate nurturing environment for the children. My kids have thrived here, and it's heart-breaking that we had to leave to go abroad, if I weren't I'd stay here without a doubt! Puddle Ducks has been an amazing experience for my family, and I'll miss it dearly!

Puddle Ducks has been the absolute perfect environment for both of my sons, I cannot rate them highly enough. My youngest started at Puddle Ducks when he was a few months old, and my oldest was 2. We were there for about a year and a half, only leaving because we moved away. My previously shy oldest came into his own within a few weeks of starting at Puddle Ducks, and my youngest thrived developmentally. They were both excited to go in the mornings and always happy at the end of the day. We were very sad to leave!

My son has attended Puddle-Ducks from 9 months to 3 years and 4 months. I have complete confidence in the care he has received and he has absolutely flourished at the nursery. The staff are very caring and attentive. He is a really outdoorsy boy and gorgeous and the large garden and playground was a no-brainer for us. It is the best nursery garden in Putney (I have checked them all out). He has loved pre-school and his little class of close friends where he has learned numbers and letters and taken part in a number of educational opportunities. We are really grateful to the whole team at Puddle-Ducks who have been wonderful. We are very sad to leave.

Our daughter has had the most wonderful experience at Puddle-Ducks Nursery. From starting in the baby room to now being in the toddler room, she has absolutely thrived with the fantastic care and support from the staff here. This nursery has provided nothing but love for our daughter, which was one of the most important things to us. It is well-run, organised and the most welcoming place for little people to be cared for and to start the foundation of their education. Thank you Puddle-Ducks for such a wonderful experience!

We really like Puddle-Ducks as our eldest girl had a great and fun time there and so now does our youngest. The staff are very caring and the time spent there is diverse. There was not a day when we picked up the girls that they weren't happy, with lots of stories to share with us. The food is healthy and diverse. Their new playground is amazing. There is always lots of outdoor space for the Little Owls to have a good run around. I would always choose it again.

My daughter was at Puddle-Ducks Nursery from 2019-2022. She enjoyed every moment. The team work hard to ensure there is a strong family feel as well as appropriate learning right across all years. By the time she left my daughter knew the names of all children and staff. Now she is in reception at school and it is clear she had a good educational basis and has settled quickly. I had no hesitation to send my son to Puddle-Ducks from 11 months and I was lucky enough to tour the refreshed facilities. It's impressive how they have reconfigured the space and encouraging to see some familiar and friendly faces, whose positivity and energy was clear to see. The environment is caring and my children have therefore developed this skill themselves early. Both children have developed confidence at nursery and my oldest transitioned into school easily from Puddle Ducks.

Gorgeous freshened-up space that is so practical for the kids and staff. The garden and outdoor life is a real asset to them compared to other nurseries, also the commitment and consistent staff. My kids love it. Monday is their favourite day with football and gardening and I love the exposure they get to every food to reduce the pressure on my cooking.

My child was supported very well at Puddle-Ducks, the manager and the team have given my son a great start to his educational life, he was happy to go in every day and I am sure he misses the great routine that they offered him.

As he was a lockdown baby, I had worried that his development may have been impacted by lack of contact with other children and playgroups, but since starting at Puddle-Ducks he has developed into a confident little boy, who has a big hug for whoever greets him in the morning. Seeing that relationship and knowing that my little boy is well cared for has been the most important aspect for me in his nursery setting.

As a first-time mum, you have to put your faith into the nursery you choose - that they will be great for your child. Hands down delighted we went for Puddle-Ducks Nursery, they have been great since we joined and have navigated the changing landscape of Covid extremely well. We would highly recommend others to this nursery as the caring and dedicated staff are second to none!

The staff who work there are really lovely - genuinely know and care for the kids and are approachable and accessible for the parents. Activities are interesting, varied and age appropriate, with plenty of opportunity for downtime and free play. The facilities are also fantastic, with a huge garden at the back as well as a large covered outdoor area for the babies. But most importantly our son loves it and asks every morning if it’s a nursery day!
