Oak Tree Day Nursery is located in the Streatham Hill area of South West London. They offer care for children from three months old to five years. The children attending the nursery receive individual attention from the skilled and dedicated team which helps them to develop their learning skills at their own pace.

The nursery occupies a large detached house, which has been purposely renovated to provide an enabling and pleasant environment for children and families in the area. There is also a large outdoor area which features an impact-resistant play surface, adventure playground, mud kitchen and sensory garden which provides plenty of opportunity for exploration, play and learning.

The nursery follows the EYFS curriculum and offers extracurricular activities such as French, Music, Yoga and Sports. Music & Movement, Sports, Yoga and French are taught weekly by visiting teachers.

Children enjoy other learning programmes such as Living Eggs which allows the children to observe the hatching process and Zoolab visits with animals. There are also planned outings to museums, farms and theatres such as Polka theatre as well as other spontaneous local outings to the library, parks, shops etc.

In addition to the wide range of ICT and other equipment available to the children, pre-school children have access to touch screen interactive tables with several pre-installed programs to help with their learning and development.

The staff use iConnect for recording and assessing the children’s learning and development. iConnect uses an app called ParentZone to facilitate communication between the nursery staff and parents, keeping them informed throughout the day.

My son has been going to this nursery for 5-6 months now and he has come on so much, he really enjoys going and loves the staff. It was the best decision sending him to Oak Tree nursery. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. He really loves it there. I would so recommend this nursery.

My 15 month old daughter has been attending Oak Tree nursery since she was ten months and always loves going in every day (So much so that I usually don't even get a goodbye wave or even a glance back)! The staff are always very kind and friendly every morning - even when putting away the buggy: I can
hear through the window how they greet my daughter when she enters the room: always with a big smile and are very happy to see her. Love that their fantastic outside space is used so much, particularly now during lockdown: so important for them to be able to get out and play every day. Love the regular observations on the app that are linked to the Development Matters guidelines: so important to know how she is progressing and the next steps needed to help her along the way. Really delighted that we chose this nursery for our daughter - couldn't ask for better care.

I have had two children attend Oak Tree over the last 8 years and can say that both children were well cared for and really felt like it was an extension of their family. The staff have always been very helpful and friendly. It is very clean, they have a great outside area for the children, the music
lessons were always a favourite. Thank you to the amazing staff for always caring for my children like they were their own.

I would like to thank the team at Oak Tree for the great job they did in looking after our Daughter from the age of 9 months, especially the staff in the baby room! It’s a lovely nursery with qualified, warm and involved staff. The management is always available and very efficient. My daughter spent just 10 months there but really seems to have got a lot out of, she learnt a lot, made friends and always spoke fondly of her teachers.

My two children went to this nursery and I have never had any issues. My kids felt loved and happy. The staff friendly and understanding. A lovely garden where the kids can play various games and grow plants. My daughter loved the cooking activities very much as well as the mud kitchen. Would recommend

A very lovely nursery, my son enjoyed every single day and was always coming back home with a smile on his face. The staff are very friendly and professional. I can see how much my son developed. All the activities were great, also additional activities such as French and music classes were amazing.
The app that was updated on a daily basis was really good, I was able to see what my son was eating throughout the day and I was also receiving pictures with what he was doing. Food was lovely as my boy was always eating well and never came back home hungry. This is a very friendly and caring environment and I couldn't be happier that my son attended Oak Tree Day Nursery. Highly recommended.

Both of our children attended Oak Tree Day Nursery from the age of around 11 months until starting school. Both have had a consistently great experience.
The standard of care is fantastic for all ages/classes, they have both learned a huge amount, have participated in so many different age-appropriate
activities and have always felt safe, cared for and very secure.
The team are fantastic and although many of them have been there for a long time, if and when people do leave they have always been replaced with highly qualified equally caring staff. The nursery provides nutritious food and a very personal, welcoming environment alongside learning which sets each child up incredibly well for starting school. We are incredibly gratefully for the years of care and support which they have provided to us and our children and would not hesitate to recommend them to other families.

All staff members are very friendly and my son loves going there and looks forward to seeing his friends and the carers. He really loves the music sessions and running around in the huge garden. My twin boys enjoyed their time at the nursery and frequently ask to go back to visit their teacher. The nursery is well managed with friendly and accommodating staff members. They have great resources available and provide opportunities including a day trip to the farm.

The manager has always been friendly and helpful. All the staff have been working hard. It's a homely nursery. I think it's a very nice place to keep your little one happy and learning different things. I will recommend my friends who have young kids.

All staff members are very friendly and the children love going and look forward to seeing their friends and the carers. Oak Tree provides both a fun, caring and stimulating environment. There are varied activities throughout the day which are well planned and managed and create a wonderful atmosphere
for little ones to develop and grow.


I couldn’t really be more complementary about the staff who are genuinely caring (just nice people) and supportive to the children in their learning.
I cannot thank the team enough for assisting with our children’s development over the last 10 months and would have no reservations about recommending Oak Tree.

My son and daughter both attend Oak Tree and I wanted to express what a fantastic nursery this is. All staff members are very friendly and supportive to the children in their learning which creates a wonderful atmosphere for them to develop and grow.
