Montessori on the Park is a private day care nursery providing high quality childcare for children aged 3 months to 5 years.
Situated in a stunning converted church on the St Marks Gate of Victoria Park and the end of Cadogan Terrace, the Nursery is perfectly positioned for both local residents and commuters into central London.

Alongside the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) curriculum, they follow the Montessori method of education, which was developed by Dr Maria Montessori, and is a child-centred educational approach. It is an approach that focuses on the development of the whole child, physical, social, emotional and cognitive.

The Montessori Method is an approach to learning which emphasizes active learning, independence, cooperation, and learning in harmony with each child’s unique pace of development. It is a holistic approach emphasizing all aspects of development, rather than on attaining specific pieces of information. The Pre-School children take part in daily Montessori sessions with a qualified Montessori teacher.

The Nursery’s approach goes above and beyond the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) to foster deep level learning and optimise potential.

They offer a range of unique educational experiences which enable children to become successful, lifelong learners including, Wake up and shake up, a range of bespoke activities which promote your child’s well-being and confidence, and Garden Champions.

They also offer unique educational experiences which enable children reach their full potential including yoga, Spanish, drama, cookery and gardening as well as trips out into the community.

The dedicated staff team support children to fulfil their potential through a range of engaging experiences and learning opportunities, which are tailored to each child’s own developmental needs and interests, ensuring they are fully prepared for their next steps in education.

I sent both my children to this nursery and whilst one of the ladies was manager it was run how I hoped. Both kids enjoyed their time, particularly with one staff member. When the manager was on maternity leave I felt the quality of the school dropped enormously, there were some quite serious issues
which I brought up with the manager at the time, but as soon as she was back I felt much more confident it was being run properly. I gave 4 stars for this reason because, without the original manager's management, the nursery really suffered.

Boys of my boys attended Montessori On The Park from a very young age and it became a second home for them. We loved the care and attentiveness they received and the staff are all amazing. The manager is a very experienced manager and was always on hand to advise and reassure. Being next to the park
was great for our boys to get plenty of outdoor time too. Couldn't recommend it enough.

I've been sending my children to this nursery since 2021 and I am so pleased with it. I have to call out the manager because I strongly believe that the secret to this nursery's success is the strong leadership she brings and the way she sets the tone for the way the entire nursery runs. There are many
staff who have been with the nursery for a long time. Including the superstar one of the staff who the kids adore and he runs yoga and guitar singalongs for all the classes in addition to being a key worker in one of the toddler rooms. Plenty of time spent in lovely Victoria Park. And my kids have always thrived at this nursery, which was sadly not the case at our last one where staff turned over quickly, lots of agency staff were brought in and the management rarely visited hence the whole place started to fall apart. It's not like that at this nursery. I recommend it to everyone I know.

Both of my children have attended Montessori on the Park Nursery since 2017. From the moment we walked through the doors, we felt welcomed and reassured. The staff are genuinely caring and attentive. The environment in all classrooms is bright, clean and stimulating, with a wide range of activities
that keep the children engaged and excited to learn. The team are free-thinking and talented, always coming up with creative ways to make learning fun. There is a well-equipped outdoor garden area, and they're next to Victoria Park so kids spend a lot of time outdoors.
Communication is seamless. We receive regular updates on our children's progress and important info, as well as regular development reviews. It's clear that the staff are passionate about what they do, and it shows in the exceptional care they provide. I highly recommend Montessori on the Park to any parent looking for a nurturing and enriching environment for their child. Thank you for delivering your best, every day.

Both of my daughters have attended the nursery over the last 6 years. They have loved their time at the nursery. They have bonded with the staff and made good friends. The nursery offer a range of activities including cooking, yoga, music and Montessori activities. The nursery is also next to Victoria

Montessori on Park is a wonderful nursery which not only takes care of children but also provides stimulation, learning opportunities through play and a lot of fun and joy. Both my daughters have attended and the youngest is currently in Toddler 2.
We are constantly amazed by the skills, language and
development eg counting, colours etc that our youngest comes home with week on week. The teachers are fantastic, kind, caring and communicative.
The food is prepared on-site by a chef and is healthy and nourishing. Finally, the location, with access to the park, and a number of activities scheduled, means that children have really varied days, going on adventures to do forest school, taking part in gardening, visiting the wildlife and the playgrounds, music, dance, yoga modern languages.
Both my girls have thrived here and we couldn't be happier with their care.

Montessori on the Park is a fantastic nursery and a great place to send your child. Since her very first day, my daughter has loved being part of the nursery and the staff go above and beyond to bring your child into the fold and help them to adapt.
As my daughter gets ready to move on to start school,
we're realising not just how much she's going to miss the place, but how much she's developed and how much she's gone through while attending the nursery.
I can't recommend the nursery highly enough and I can say without a doubt that you wouldn't regret sending your child to the nursery.

Came to London this week to help our daughter and bond with our grandaughter. Part of our duties was dropping her at the nursery daily. How good are they? The best, one member of staff in particular. It's all about 'the people' and how you connect, especially when you are entrusting. I loved how staff
went the extra mile with handovers with a full debrief, last bottle, last nappy, any health issues. They are the best. They will not let you down.

Montessori on the Park is absolutely amazing. Our daughter has been there since she was 9 months old and is now at preschool. Everyday that we drop her off we know that she is getting the very best care from teachers that are kind, generous, knowledgeable and supportive.
The nursery is extremely well
run and organised, communication with parents is excellent and the wider community is wonderful to be part off.
Children are stimulated and encouraged at a rate that is suitable for them, we can't imagine our daughter not being here and will be sad to leave when she starts school!

I have been sending our children to Montessori on the Park for the past 6 years. I have been extremely happy and I will recommend any parents to do the same. It feels that our children are raised up by a big family. When our eldest left the nursery and started reception, there was no issue as he was
so well prepared to go to the bigger setting. His first school report said he has excellent PSED skills, which he developed across the 4 years he spent at the nursery. People always say he is so confident with people and this is because he has been raised by his wonderful teachers at the nursery and made a great start on his social life. Teachers respect children at the nursery. This is basic but it is so important. Our youngest is 3 now and has been in the nursery since he was 9 months old. He has developed his own character but the base is the same. He is loved and confident. I don't hesitate to recommend anyone to send their children to the nursery.

My experience of Montessori On The Park has been excellent. My son started there during the first lockdown in the baby room and is excited whenever we arrive at the front door. Staff have been very supportive to him and us in settling him in. Staff take interest in how he is, letting us know what he
has been doing with them and any concerns. Reviews of his development have taken place every 6 months with thoughtful feedback and support. He is comfortable with all the staff, but especially with his key worker. I am very happy he is there and would recommend it.

My son loves going to nursery, he loves his teacher and friends. The staff are always super helpful and kind and we couldn’t wish a better place to leave him!

I am an Auntie of a child who is attending this nursery. It has been duly noted for the past months that the staff have been extremely helpful and go over and beyond, also during much rather challenging times that we are all facing now. Response from the management is second to none, whenever my sister
has any questions or concerns they are acted upon immediately. I personally think that having a nursery from which you are getting the right level of support and communication is a huge relief, as if life with a toddler is not challenging enough right?! I have heard so many compliments until the present moment, that it makes me want to go on a waiting list even before I even start to plan for my own pregnancy! Just wanted to share my personal point of view as I know it may be helpful for someone who is like me, scrolling and looking at what is in the area when the need comes in!

My daughter loves going to Montessori On The Park. She always comes home in a very good mood, and with some new skill to show off. Surprisingly, she's not been ill or even caught many colds, so I can only deduce that the nursery really is being hot on hygiene in times of Covid-19. This is very reassuring.
The staff all seem lovely and I am so glad we got a place here!
