Recently my child joined the nursery. I felt very comfortable and confident to leave my child is this nursery. I was given all the information I needed on signing up to the nursery, settling in period went very smoothly due to the professionalism of the staff and management. My child is very happy to
part with me and looks very happy to see everyone in the morning. So glad I went with this nursery. Thank you for all your hard work

My son has been attending this nursery since August 2017 when he was just 15 months old. As a first-time mom, I was worried as to how he would adjust to being in a new environment and interacting with strangers.
The key workers were brilliant in this regard as they were understanding, empathetic towards
the way I felt and were genuine in the way they cared for and treated my son. 7 months down the line, on a daily basis my son cries when leaving the nursery, which as a mom makes me really sad but also makes me extremely happy and reassured that he is loved and cared for in the best possible way.
The new manager is an absolute darling to deal with, she's always smiling and so helpful! My son's key workers are always happy to give me a full breakdown of his day, from what he ate, who he played with and whether he made a poo.
I am ever so grateful for the lovely service that is provided by the staff at Magic Roundabout Docklands.

My sons have been attending this nursery for the last six months. Their older brother attended a few years before, and since that time there have been some changes which I have really appreciated, including a new manager who is gentle and friendly as well as an upgrade to the appearance of the nursery.
They both have lovely key workers who the boys both love to spend time with, my youngest gave his keyworker a big cuddle the other week which was very reassuring to leave him with her.
They get a variety of experiences and get time to spend together which is great as many nurseries keep all the kids separate all day. There is good security in this location which was a priority for me. There are outdoor play areas and the nursery is located near to great places to visit like parks and Mudchute farm.

My daughter attends the Dockland Branch, three days a week and absolutely loves the place and the staff. So much so she cries to go for the remainder of the week. Though the nursery may not be in the most plush settings, please do not let this deter you - looks csn be deceiving! I cannot express just
how lovely and attentive the staff members are. I have seen such a huge improvement on my daughter's speech and social skills.

My daughter wakes up every morning very excited to attend Magic Roundabout Nursery Docklands which she calls school. On the weekend she cries when she realises she's not going. My daughter is 2 and it takes her a while to be comfortable round people but she settled in so well. Staff are friendly and
my daughter really likes her key worker. When we pick her up she is always playing nicely either by herself where she feels comfortable to explore or with other children. its more personal then the large corporate nurseries that I viewed.

Very caring staffs. It was a lovely experience with all you there. My son not only enjoyed but learnt a lot from the nursery e.g. he learned how to count, few word formation and write his name. Also, the teachers are really good at building teamwork among the children. They also made them stay busy
the entire time. Best part is my son now does tidy up by himself when he messes up all his toys. You are all doing a great job. Keep it up...thank you.

Current Review Score: 9.3 (9.320)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.3 (9.320) out of 10 for Magic Roundabout Nursery Docklands is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 8 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.4 out of 5 from 8 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.885 for Magic Roundabout Nursery Docklands is calculated as follows: ( (86 Excellents x 5) + (9 Goods x 4) + (1 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 96 Ratings = 4.885
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.435 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Magic Roundabout Nursery Docklands is based on 8 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.1 + 0.1 + 0.1 = 3.8
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 63 number of registered child places is 12.6. 8 Positive Reviews ÷ 12.6 = 0.635
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
