Magic Roundabout Nursery Docklands

Magic Roundabout Nursery Docklands welcomed our son into their family and treated him with genuine care that I thought went above and beyond other nurseries. We never had any issues whatsoever and found everyone we interacted with - from caretakers to administrative staff to those keeping the nursery running smoothly - a genuine pleasure.

From the moment we walked into Magic Roundabout Nursery we knew this was the place we wanted our daughter to grow up in. Starting at 1 year, in the baby room, our daughter immediately bonded with the staff and has always enjoyed visiting the nursery. The teachers are encouraging creativity, learning and independence. It's been absolutely beautiful to watch our daughter learn so many things, from feeding and dressing herself to learning colours and numbers, and many more things. The teachers are extremely loving and caring. We would recommend this nursery in a heartbeat.

My son is in the pre-school room and we have a wonderful experience. His key person genuinely cares about him and has been supporting his development continuously based on his personal interests. The staff is always curious to find new ways to encourage learning in class and my son is excited every morning to attend nursery.

Magic Round About is an excellent nursery! A great place for kids to have fun and learn a lot of new stuff. The teachers there are really good and offer genuinely good care for the kids… especially one particular pre-school teacher. In summary, a wonderful place to send the kids and be worry-free.

Magic Roundabout Nursery Docklands is a happy place for my boy. He has been there since he was about 8 months, he is 2 and a half years now and I couldn’t be happier with the way he has been taken care of. It is super clear that he really enjoys his time there, but also nice to know that all staff care and promote his development. All staff are super cool by the way. Also great outdoor space. Strongly recommend this nursery!

My son has been attending Magic Roundabout Docklands since he was 7 months. I was initially worried about leaving him at such an early age but the key workers instantly made me feel comforted, cared about and listened to. He was enamoured by the nursery and the key workers straight away, which made things easier for me and my partner. My son is now almost 2 years old and I feel that his development has come along so incredibly, of which I owe to Magic Roundabout Docklands. They have been very attentive to his needs (he has eczema and is often poorly), and I trust them entirely with his well-being and care. I look forward to picking him up in the evenings and having a chat with the key workers about his day, hearing about what he got up to and how he spent his time. My son loves playing outdoors and I feel the outdoor space at Magic Roundabout Docklands is fantastic, especially for being in London. I truly am grateful for the team at Magic Roundabout Docklands, and how they have made nursery so enjoyable, including the chef, who my son absolutely adores!

We joined the nursery in March last year, and my son absolutely enjoyed it. During lockdown the nursery went through refurbishment and it become light and bright. But most important is the teachers, they are amazing, very professional and friendly. My son has improved a lot for the last year and absolutely ready to go to school. Thanks a lot to all staff who work there and a special thank you to the cook. It is one of the great advantages that they have their own kitchen. Highly recommend the nursery.

I highly recommend Magic Roundabout Nursery. My sin, with SEN, attended the nursery in the past and he was always treated with respect. He enjoyed his time there and I had no concerns. Now my daughter is attending and I am happy to see the nursery is in even better shape. The biggest and most positive surprise was to discover the crew had not changed (only expanded) and the quality of care is great. Just like a couple of years ago.

Baby started nursery around seven months old. Nursery were great at making the process easier for us, even during the unknown times of Covid-19. All the staff are friendly, helpful and really seem to enjoy spending time with the kids. Even the chef knows the babies name and says hi in the mornings. Management have been good with messaging about issues as soon as they know and seem very reasonable. Overall, very happy with the nursery and often seems baby is more excited to be at nursery, rather than at home.

My son enjoys his time at the nursery. He learns every day new things and the staff organises new activities every week, stimulating kids to experience different things. I'm very happy about this nursery and I can trust them. I know my son loves it too!

My toddler joined the nursery in January after I had interviewed several nurseries located around the Isle of Dogs. My first impression of the nursery was "so so". However, I was very impressed with how the nursery manager addresses my concerns. Over the course of my experience with Magic Roundabout, I have concluded that the more time my toddler spends there, the happier I am as she learns a great deal from them. Their members of staff are highly professional and friendly. I definitely recommend the nursery to anyone who is looking.

I highly recommend this nursery to anyone in the Isle of Dogs area! When we made the decision to put the little one into nursery, we went and visited all of them (there are a few others in close proximity) because we're quite picky. Magic Roundabout was by far the best option and we immediately clicked with the Nursery Manager. We really couldn't be happier.

Our toddler joined Magic Roundabout Nursery in June just when they opened post the lockdown, and it’s been a fantastic journey since then. The staff are extremely helpful and cooperative to all the needs of parents. I have seen so many positive changes in our boy in this short span, such as saying thank you, please, etc and he thoroughly enjoys it there. We get regular updates via an app and pictures to see how the kids are doing. The staff also make sure to keep all parents updated on the developmental milestones of all babies with detailed notes. I highly recommend this nursery to anyone who is looking for one, and thank the manager and her team for taking such good care of our kids!

Our two year old started going on a full-time basis, five days a week, from the end of June 2020. We were scared because of the pandemic and the new environment for the child as she has never been into any nursery or childcare before. I must say it has been a wonderful journey so far for us. It keeps me satisfied while I’m working as I know my child is in good hands. The staff is friendly and willing to help you out. We have a halal food preference and they adhere to it completely which is a plus point for me.

This is a wonderful nursery and I am so happy we decided to send our daughter there. The staff are friendly and professional and our daughter quickly settled in and simply loves going there. Staff always have time to feedback on child's day: either in person before and now via an app where you can gain insight into child's activities and plays throughout the day. There is always plenty of interesting activities children take part in, including arts or outdoor play (to name a few) and the focus is on exploration and learning through play. Staff closely monitor children's progress, feedback on their achievements and encourage positive behaviour. I feel my child is loved at the nursery, always treated fairly and has developed positive attachments to her key person and other members of staff. The transition between age groups is well thought and very easy for children. The nursery is spacious with a nice outdoor garden and is also very secure. I highly recommend this nursery.

Amazing nursery! My son was only five months old when he joined Magic Roundabout Nursery and soon will turn two. There are no words that can describe my experience. Teachers are welcoming, happy and always able to have some time to chat about my child. I can see how they look after him during the day thanks to the online app, teachers constantly add different photos. The management team are always helpful. Every day children do different activities and play in the garden. Older children have extracurricular activities such as Mandarin or art classes. The garden is a big plus as there are two of them, babies can play in their own place and they don’t mix with bigger ones. I highly recommend this nursery to every parent.

My son has been attending Docklands Magic Roundabout since April 2018. He's been happy since day one. I can see that he is busy with various activities throughout the week. They support him in learning to write and recognize mathematic symbols but also in having loads of fun. They go on trips, they have a garden where they run, weather permitting almost every day. He doesn't want to go home if I come to pick him up earlier. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I would strongly recommend this nursery.
