Little Angels Day Nursery & Pre-School Highbury

We couldn't have asked for a better nursery for our daughter. The team are just incredible. So close knit, kind, caring and supportive of both our daughter and us. It had a family feel in the best possible way, and was so part of the Highbury community too. We only left as we were relocating out of London. Highly recommend - they are incredibly well thought of locally so worth registering early.

After 2 years, we are truly gutted to be leaving as we are moving out of London, but would recommend the nursery to any parent. My wife and I will cherish our experience, and I'm sure our daughter will too.

Our daughter has had a truly wonderful experience at Little Angels in Highbury. She has real rapport with carers and absolutely adores it. From Islington icon lady 'At The Door', to the kindness of the ladies in the blue room when she was still crawling, to the yellow room popstars (they all have X Factor) when she went from wobbling to a confident swagger and rockstar behaviour, the front of house staff and backstage crew at Little Angels have been superb and become extended family to us. Thank you for all your care and all the fun that our own little angel (devil) has enjoyed across the road.

We have been so impressed by Little Angels since our daughter started in January 2025 (age 9 months). The staff in the Blue Room have been so warm and caring, and she now smiles when she arrives in the morning and wants to give her key person a big hug. Management staff know all the children and greet them by name as they arrive. Staff retention is excellent, something that was very important to us when choosing a nursery.

Starting our very young son at nursery was a huge cause of anxiety for us but within a week we felt completely at ease, reassured and comfortable with dropping him off in the mornings. We feel he spends the day in a very nurturing environment and we can tell that his development is really benefitting from being around the other babies and wonderful staff. Thank you, Little Angels!

Our son thrived at Little Angels nursery and we were sad to leave. The staff are all very experienced and it has a lovely friendly family feel. There is a huge outside space and the daily activities are interesting and varied. The preschool teaching is excellent and the overall care is great. They genuinely love all the children they look after. Can't recommend enough

I can't speak highly enough of Little Angels Highbury and am so pleased that we sent our daughter there. It has a lovely, family feel and all the staff are loving and caring as well as being very good at their job. Our daughter started off naturally quite shy but she formed a very strong bond with her key workers who encouraged and supported her and helped her gain confidence. The activities they do with the kids are always rich and varied and the level of communication and organisation is fantastic. We feel very fortunate to have found such a great nursery and would recommend it to anyone.

Our two boys were full-time in Little Angels from the age of one and six months, all the way through to the start of school, some seven years in total. Over this time we were highly impressed with the quality of staff, management, systems and processes. The boys were always happy, well looked after and fed. We were particularly impressed with how the management and staff handled the pandemic, with the nursery remaining open every day that they were allowed. Whilst the location on Blackstock Road is far from perfect, there was enough space inside for them to run around energetically and anyway, this was virtually irrelevant as the staff were always so well trained, organised and lovely with the kids. We cannot recommend Little Angels highly enough! They are more than a safe pair of hands, they became like family and we and the boys miss them already.

Little Angels Highbury is an outstanding nursery. From the baby room to pre-school room we found the staff caring, attentive and professional. Our daughter had a great 4 years at the nursery with lovely key workers at every stage who really got to know her and supported her. The nursery organised brilliant activities - sports, music, drama, etc and put a lot of thought in the last year into reading, writing and preparing for school. We were very lucky to find such a great nursery. Thoroughly recommendable.

We are very happy and grateful for our son's learning experience that was made possible by the brilliant people all working together as a team. I don't know where they get their energy from but we are very happy that our son had a great time, was supported and encouraged, with regular feedback to us parents. Lots of engaging class activities including the reptiles and chicks and again, to feel included as parents made it all the more engaging. Would definitely recommend.
