I witnessed my 11-month-old son picking up toys from the floor that shoes were allowed and putting them in his mouth. In the garden, there were a lot of dry leaves that my son was putting in his mouth. I took them off his hands and stopped him from eating them but when I was filling in the forms the staff wouldn’t stop him. So he ended up eating a few leaves. The next day I spoke to the director. The reply I got was that we let babies explore. I said explore by eating dry leaves? she said yes we even bring leaves indoors and let them explore and play. I stayed in the parent's room where the director came and asked me why I was nervous but she dismissed me once again insisting that babies exploring is okay. 1.5 hrs later a staff member told me that my son was crying. I realized that he had diarrhoea and the staff did not check to change his nappy. I changed his nappy and noticed a red bump on his forehead that I was not told he had or what happened. I would not recommend this nursery.
Our child is so well looked after. The staff are brilliant and I am never in any doubt that he is in the best care possible. Management are communicative and it is clear that all those who work here work to ensure that the best support is given.

I am very happy so far with the care this nursery is providing. The teachers are all lovely and always give me a review of how his day was when I go in to pick him up.
He was able to settle very quickly and I am sure the amazing staff had a big part in this.
The classrooms are spacious and nicely set up with different areas for different types of play and the garden is nicely done with loads of toys to play with.

The outside space in the garden is massive and look forward to seeing more updates from them playing outside now the weather is better. In short, I would strongly recommend this nursery to anyone, especially, first timers or nervous parents.

From not being allowed in, to not knowing the other children's names, to the sporadically changing hours - which you are not compensated for, it's hard to think of anything positive. However, what upsets me the most is that the staff was giving my 18-month-old child sweets, without my knowledge, in the early evening before pick up to "keep them happy." Additionally, you will often see the staff on smoke breaks outside 2 hours into their shift. And you will likely get calls to let you know that your child is the last child in the room. Sorry, it's 4 PM on a Friday and I'm in central London working. You will get norovirus every 6 weeks because things aren't cleaned properly. I could go on and on, but I'm out of characters.
Best wishes,
Busy Bees Nurseries
After 11 months in the baby room, my son has just gone up to the toddler room and I wanted to say how fantastic the baby room has been. I was incredibly anxious, leaving my son, who was 11 months old when he started. As a lockdown baby, he had only ever been with us. The staff in the baby room were fantastic. You could just see how much they cared about him right from the start and I knew he was in safe hands. I always felt I could call just to see how he was doing. The staff never made me feel like I was taking up their time, even though they are very busy. Finally, I want to say how hard the staff work. I particularly remember my son's key worker coming in on her day off to finish a wall display for the children. Busy Bees are very lucky to have her and the other staff.
I was a very nervous parent, leaving the most precious thing in my life with strangers and after COVID but I cannot express how grateful I am to all the staff, they made me feel at ease, allowed me to do as many settles as I needed and are very accommodating. The manager is very friendly and did her best to make me feel secure in leaving my child. I would not send him anywhere else.
My daughter started in September 2020, she was very unsettled. The girls all made me feel so comfortable leaving my daughter. The girls reassured me that she would soon settle in, now I struggle getting her home. I was having trouble with toilet training at home, my daughter didn't want underwear on, now she is making me for no nappy and to wear underwear to use the toilet/potty!
I have every confidence in the manager and the team. My little boy is very happy being there and settled really well.
Since being back from lockdown the nursery and staff have been nothing but accommodating. My child is always happy to go to nursery and seems very happy when we pick up. Good nursery to go to and highly recommended.
I'm delighted with the care at Busy Bees. The managers have always been exceptional. All the staff are always friendly and happy! My daughter loves it!
I have my son here since he was 11 months old, now he is 4 years old. The staff are amazing with him and I have not seen a great turnover of staff. Highly recommend this nursery.
We are extremely happy with how our daughter is developing and how much she has learnt since starting in March 2020. She is currently in the baby room and loves going into the room to see her key worker, other teachers and friends. W love seeing her artwork and photos of what she has been doing through-out the day. She's now 16 months and already counting to 4 and I know the girl's work has contributed to that.
My son started towards the end of September the nursery helped him settle in which was key as he was very nervous. They have been great with him especially with his food allergies. Would recommend to family and friends.
Well done Busy Bees at London Mottingham, I am a very happy mummy.
This is a lovely nursery. All the staff are amazing, friendly and always very helpful. The care they have for my daughter is great and they are always very informative when I go to collect her. Letting me know what her full day consists of. They provide an outstanding service and am very pleased with everything overall.
Busy Bees is a great nursery with lovely members of staff. My little girl loves coming to nursery in the mornings, she has learnt so much and has so much fun. Everyone is very accommodating and flexible. Overall I'm very impressed.
My son has been at the Mottingham nursery since he was 10 months old, the staff were really attentive to his needs as he was a little bit delayed. Unfortunately, we left during lockdown as he was starting school in September and I was planning on taking him out in June, if it was not for COVID then he would have been there until that month. The staff were always around to give me feedback and always worked with me to help him develop, I would not put my child anywhere else if I was to have another.
Over the last two years, she has transformed into a very confident child thanks to dedicated and professional staff. Would definitely recommend.
My son has been in Tree Tops since September 2017 and we have both had a brilliant time.
He loves going to see all the girls and I always feel happy with his progress and happy he is safe.
He is now in preschool and I know he'll be sad to leave at the end of July as will I. We've had a great time.
