About this price
How the monthly figure is calculated.More info
- We work out the total cost across the year and divide by 12, so the figure shown is a smoothed monthly average. In practice, nurseries bill in different ways. Some bill monthly at this average. Others bill weekly, or charge for what happened that week or month, which can vary across the year. Confirm billing details with the nursery when you enquire.

I cannot say enough how delighted we have been with LEYF Marsham Street. My son has been going for over a year (started at 11 months), 5 days a week. I was very nervous about putting him into nursery full time, it is a big deal to trust someone else to look after my baby, but LEYF has been the most...
Unfortunately, we will be moving house in a few months and so he won't be able to stay at Marsham Street but based on my very positive experience here we will definitely be trying to keep him in a LEYF nursery, I cannot recommend it enough.
Accessible throughout the year. Caring staff. Varied activities for the children. Good mix of learning and playing. And they certainly eat more varied and healthy meals than I do most of the time! I feel safe leaving my children there in the morning.

The staff are absolutely dedicated. In particular 2 staff members from the upstairs baby room and from Pre-School - can’t praise them highly enough. They are the example of people doing the job they love. No request is too much trouble for them and they are...

The manager is always in touch with the parents and personally replies to emails.

The focus on play is exactly what I want in a nursery setting, and yet my eldest son is learning so much as he plays. He is constantly coming home with something new he’s learnt or discovered. I’m particularly impressed with the autonomy, bravery and creativity they encourage in the children, allowing them to take risks and learn in doing so.
Both my sons seem to particularly enjoy being allowed to be outside so much too. Despite limited outdoor space the staff make the most of the central London setting with countless trips.
Lovely nursery with lots of nice facilities - fantastic staff and led brilliantly by the manager who the children love.

My son has been at Marsham Street for six months now. At collection time, the feedback is the same, "... he's had a great day... slept well... ate all his lunch...". It's always positive. At first I thought it was a script but actually, it's true! My son does thoroughly enjoy his day at nursery....

At first I thought it was a script but actually, it's true! My son does thoroughly enjoy his day at nursery. There are varied age-appropriate activities daily. Yes, the outdoor space may be small compared with other nurseries but they make excellent use of the space they do have (besides play areas they've made room for planting activities too) and there are frequent trips to local playgrounds - you would not say their facilities are lacking. Further, the manager also gets involved: he doesn't just sit in the office. Last week he was in the garden armed with his bubble machine, to the squeals of many delighted children! In six months it has been satisfying to watch my little boy develop his inquisitive mind and how he interacts socially. This is a testament to the dedication of all of the staff there.
I can’t wait to see her development.
Thank you.

Staff are amazing. My daughter adores her keyperson and is so excited to go in every day, which is amazing relief as a parent.

Marsham Street has provided childcare to my daughter from 6months+. Given her young age when starting it was a little concerning to leave my child who couldn't yet walk or even role over into the care of a third person. Marsham street staff were great and a real credit to the nursery, from the initial settling in process through to daily check-in and updates. The team provide superb care and it wasn't long before my daughter was keen to be getting in every morning for another creative day of play and learning. The team work hard to provide a great social environment for the children and I'm without doubt that our daughter has benefited significantly from attendance at the nursery. The food menu looks great and on some days I'm jealous of my daughters lunch in comparison to my own. Parents are encouraged to join events through the year to see their child in their learning environment and courses are run to help support home learning (free of charge).

They are good and the facilities can improve or be renewed. The toddler's section needs to be more tidy and clean especially that there was a problem that was causing a bad smell. The carpets, toys and other things need to be replaced. The nursery should be a place that is colourful, clean, bright...
But overall the staff and management are very good and I am happy with how they deal with parents concerns.
My two boys are very happy attending the nursery, the staff is qualified and I find most of their activities very engaging.

We were impressed by how the staff managed to include her in all activities despite her very young age. The blend of activities is very impressive and our child learns a lot (language, stories, songs, and behaviour). She loves the nursery and the staff and asks also on weekends if she can attend nursery!!

My son's primary carers at school have been fantastic, consistently challenging him in a structured way that has helped him grow into a happy toddler who is keen to take on new challenges and learn.
I would happily recommend the school to any prospective parent.

As a working parent, it gives me a great peace of mind to know that my son is in a safe pair of hands, while I'm at work.

Hello, my name is Merita and I joined LEYF in 2011. I trained as a lawyer in Kosovo before moving to the UK in 1992, when I started working with young families and children. I am a passionate supporter of LEYF’s social purpose to give all children the very best start in life, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds who might otherwise not be able to access high-quality Early Years education and care.
