My son has been at Marsham Street for six months now. At collection time, the feedback is the same, "... he's had a great day... slept well... ate all his lunch...". It's always positive. At first I thought it was a script but actually, it's true! My son does thoroughly enjoy his day at nursery. There are varied age-appropriate activities daily. Yes, the outdoor space may be small compared with other nurseries but they make excellent use of the space they do have (besides play areas they've made room for planting activities too) and there are frequent trips to local playgrounds - you would not say their facilities are lacking. Further, the manager also gets involved: he doesn't just sit in the office. Last week he was in the garden armed with his bubble machine, to the squeals of many delighted children! In six months it has been satisfying to watch my little boy develop his inquisitive mind and how he interacts socially. This is a testament to the dedication of all of the staff there.
I can’t wait to see her development.
Thank you.
Staff are amazing. My daughter adores her keyperson and is so excited to go in every day, which is amazing relief as a parent.
My child is very happy at this nursery.
Marsham Street has provided childcare to my daughter from 6months+. Given her young age when starting it was a little concerning to leave my child who couldn't yet walk or even role over into the care of a third person. Marsham street staff were great and a real credit to the nursery, from the initial settling in process through to daily check-in and updates. The team provide superb care and it wasn't long before my daughter was keen to be getting in every morning for another creative day of play and learning. The team work hard to provide a great social environment for the children and I'm without doubt that our daughter has benefited significantly from attendance at the nursery. The food menu looks great and on some days I'm jealous of my daughters lunch in comparison to my own. Parents are encouraged to join events through the year to see their child in their learning environment and courses are run to help support home learning (free of charge).
My 18 month old daughter goes to this nursery. I found this nursery is the best one around. I use to send my elder daughter to a nursery which was a big brand name but the personal touch my younger daughter get here it is far different. All the staff are really friendly and they enjoy working there. Kids looks like they want to stay in nursery for 24/7 and all are cheering.
The facilities and activities are amazing. My son has been so well looked after. It helped him in his speaking and reading skills. I’m very happy with Marsham Street Nursery. Thank you team for your hard work.
But overall the staff and management are very good and I am happy with how they deal with parents concerns.
My two boys are very happy attending the nursery, the staff is qualified and I find most of their activities very engaging.
My son has been attending the Marsham Street Community Nursery since mid-2016 and we are happy. There have been a few staff changes over the past year or so and it has been for the good. A variety of activities/interesting events such as a trip to a recycling centre or a farm. From this year, a new manager has introduced new fun activities such as ‘dressing up like my favourite book character’ or ‘PJ day’, etc.
Our daughter joined the nursery as she was 3 months old and adaption went smoothly from the very first moment. We were impressed by how the staff managed to include her in all activities despite her very young age. The blend of activities is very impressive and our child learns a lot (language, stories, songs, and behaviour). She loves the nursery and the staff and asks also on weekends if she can attend nursery!!
Marsham Street is an absolutely fantastic place for children! It is warm, cosy and safe. My daughter is two and a half years old and has been going to Marsham Street for 6 months now, and my husband and I are very happy with the care and attention she receives. The staff are extremely committed and make every effort to ensure that the children are happy, safe and indeed having a good time. My daughter settled in quickly and looks forward to going to nursery every day!
My son is in his final few months at Marsham Street Community Nursery and during his time (18 months), has transformed into a confident, toddler who is ready for reception.
My son's primary carers at school have been fantastic, consistently challenging him in a structured way that has helped him grow into a happy toddler who is keen to take on new challenges and learn.
I would happily recommend the school to any prospective parent.
A very special thank you to all the lovely people in the ground floor baby room. Thank you so much for taking such good care of my little one!
As a working parent, it gives me a great peace of mind to know that my son is in a safe pair of hands, while I'm at work.
I love this nursery, they provide a caring and nurturing environment for my child. The staff in the upstairs babyroom are amazing.
My son is very happy at this nursery. The staff take very good care of the children. On the whole, I think the nursery is very good. To make things better, there could be more challenging activities for the toddlers such as puzzles. There could also be vocabulary building activities. The meals are alright but there could be more variety.
Staff are extremely helpful and caring towards children, however, I would love for my child to leave nursery as clean as they arrived. I wish they would have uniforms instead of their own clothes, as nursery prices are really high.
All staff at the nursery are very friendly, professional, knowledgeable, caring and super supportive to the parents, who try to settle their children into the nursery.
They are caring and encouraging. Children seem to love the nursery and be very inspired by the staff. And they are always trying to improve their standards and offer new activities to the children.
My daughter couldn’t be in better hands.
