Cherubins Day Nursery - Chestnut Lodge

Very happy with how my daughter has been made welcome and cared for. Good communication and excellent staff.

My children have attended this nursery for almost 6 years, and it's likely to remain a part of their lives for some years yet due to the breakfast/after school/holiday clubs, even though my youngest is starting school this September.

It is a lovely nursery and we feel very lucky that our girls have been, and continue to be, so well cared for. The manager is fantastic - she ensures that the high standards are maintained brilliantly - and, as another reviewer mentioned, a high proportion of staff have been there throughout the years our girls have attended. I love that they have clearly got to know each of our daughters so well.

Otherwise, the sense of space (and in particular the outdoor space) is great and the longer opening hours have also been essential for us. I highly recommend.

our son is very happy at Cherubins Day Nursery. The standard of care is quite high from the people looking after him. The staff constantly think of new activities to stimulate the children. The outdoor spaces are excellent and they have been very helpful in potty training. I think some of the reporting on food consumption can be a little inaccurate but overall I'm very happy with the nursery.

Happy with the setting, the staff and the management. Could not have asked for a better nursery. I will recommend this nursery to my family and friends for definite. Overall very happy with everything.

I think it is a really good nursery. My son is getting on well in there. I have no complaints.

Generally very pleased with the nursery. The staff are all providing a high-quality provision for our children. We get a lot of feedback, especially now we get a daily emailed report. We're fully confident that our children are safe, well looked after and happy and stimulated. The only criticism I would have is at the back office. Invoices are frequently late and confusing to the accuracy. We hope this will improve!

Our son has flourished here at the nursery. He has such a lovely group who teach, play, help to feed and look after him. He squeaks with excitement when he sees that he is going to nursery.

My children have been attending Cherubins for 7 years and have loved their time. The staff have been fantastic (there are a number of staff members who have been employed throughout the last 7 years) they are all very caring and really engage with the children. The management are also really supportive and flexible and have made working with small children simple!

My son settled really quickly he was made to feel safe and secure by staff and bonded with his keyworker very well.

The carers are very organised and ensure a fully and productive day. There is story time, art, and world learning. The long hours really help us plan how we work and care for our child. We will miss this nursery next year as he goes to big school.
