Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Billericay

The team at the nursery is fantastic, our little girl cannot wait to go there every day, she loves the team and she has learnt so much which we believe has significantly given her the skills that she needs for everyday life. Thank you monkey puzzle.

As a first time Mum I was extremely worried and anxious about having to send my Daughter to nursery a few days a week when I returned to work. Thankfully, she settled extremely quickly (probably quicker than I did!) and I 100% put that down to the staff at Monkey Puzzle. They understood her needs, especially dietary - my Daughter is on the milk ladder and we’ve never had an episode due to any errors at nursery, they’re always super diligent and make sure she has an alternative so doesn’t ever miss out if her friends are having something she can’t have. Now she’s a toddler and absolutely loves nursery! She always talks about the staff like they’re her best friends, has made best friends with her classmates, often runs into class without so much as a backward glance and comes out full of beans telling me all about her day. Thank you Monkey Puzzle for making it that little bit easier to send her in!

My daughter has been going to Monkey Puzzle in Billericay for a year now and she loves it. She’s excited to be dropped off daily and on pick up she cannot wait to tell me about her day. I have no complaints and find the staff both very helpful and friendly. I’d have no problem recommending this nursery to any other parents or future parents.

Monkey Puzzle is a wonderful nursery, and it's the staff there that make it so brilliant! The care they give my son (and my son, who has now left and is at school) is impeccable. My youngest son suffers from multiple allergies, and the staff at Monkey Puzzle couldn't be more accommodating. I never worry about him when he's there. The manager and all staff go beyond to ensure my son is happy and safe, and we'll be eternally grateful for that.

Can’t rate the Monkey Puzzle enough; you won’t regret it if you choose it for your little one.

Our 1 and a half year old daughter really enjoys her time at Monkey Puzzle. We get very regular updates on the app including all the activities she’s doing, what she ate and how long she slept etc. All the practitioners are very friendly and our daughter is happy every day.

No real complaints. My daughter has always loved going and has learned so much from being there. There's always loads of varied activities throughout the day and lots of different meals for the children to eat from one day to the next. The recent investment in facilities is also great to see. All in all, my wife and I are very happy to send our daughter to the nursery.

My daughter has a great time there and I am very happy with the service provided. I feel safe and comfortable with her attending there and would recommend it to anyone thinking about wanting their child to go there.

The nursery is great and we have seen a significant improvement the last few years. The staff are caring and our child loves going here. The outside facilities have been given a major uplift this year. Overall, happy!

We have nothing but good things to say about Monkey Puzzle. Our son is in the pre-school room and is learning new things every day. Each day we drop him off, he has a smile on his face and he can’t wait to go and play with his friends, and then when we collect him he is a continuous chatterbox about his day. The staff are amazing and are always keeping us updated via the app about his day and what activities he has been up to, it’s great to see what he’s been doing. We’ve been really happy with the team at Monkey Puzzle Billericay, and it really is a home away from home for our daughter. She’s learnt a lot in the time since she’s been there, and her day is clearly packed full of fun and enriching activities. It’s great to know she’s so safe, well looked after and happy.

Our daughter loves attending Billericay Monkey Puzzle - she always runs in and never looks back at me each morning. The staff are all so friendly and genuinely care for our daughter.

Our daughter has learnt so much over her time there - nursery rhymes, numbers, letters and subjects such as the seasons/weather/how plants grow/types of animals etc. They also have lots of outdoor play in the garden which has recently been extended and improved.

The food is healthy and varied, and occasionally the children get to make their own food (e.g pizzas) which they love doing.

Most importantly our daughter always goes into nursery with a smile and comes out with a smile, and I never have to worry if she’s ok while she’s there.

Our boy has been there since 6 months and is now 2. The staff has been incredibly patient and nurturing, supporting him through the first half year when he was quite a needy child. He now loves going in and is always happy and chatty. There were also really good activities by external providers (such as music and movement) that we know he enjoyed very much, and look forward to having them back again when lockdown restrictions are lifted! We have noticed all the new words and good habits he has picked up from nursery, and are really happy with his development. We would happily recommend Monkey Puzzle Billericay.

In addition, the recent introduction of the parent app allows parents to track their child's day in detail. I have no hesitation in recommending Monkey Puzzle.

I think the best testimony to the quality of the nursery is the way our son runs at the door of the nursery in the morning and quickly jump inside when he’s let in by a practitioner (due to Covid safety measures of course).

We also like getting the updates, on the parent app, on what she is up to and we appreciate the milestone reports and parents evenings that give us a good guide on development.

Both my children have attended Monkey Puzzle and loved it. The team are amazing, they really care and the activities they do every day are really impressive. We looked at what felt like every nursery in the area before we put my oldest in and we picked Monkey Puzzle due to the team and the environment they create.

The girls who work in the nursery are all very good but the environment is cramped and often a little tired looking and the owners have a tendency to put profit margins before honesty in my view. I took my daughter out in May and it's the best decision I've ever made. When I saw the comparison between this nursery and other establishments locally there wasn't really any question about moving her out, as the offering elsewhere was so obviously considerably better. I just wish it hadn't taken me three years to realize it.

My son has been attending Monkey puzzle for two years now and I cannot recommend Monkey Puzzle enough. When I first visited the place I wasn’t sure as I thought the building and outside area seemed a bit small, however location wise its perfect for commuters travelling to London as it's within close proximity to the station. The management team and practitioners really make this place run brilliantly. The Management team make a huge effort to ensure the kids have a vast variety of activities, both fun and educational like phonics, maths, french, nature studies etc. They have events once a week where they bring in entertainment like ‘Jungle Jive’ or ‘Wild fangs’. He’s made lots of great friends and has close bonds with the practitioners. When we pick him up, the practitioners always have a detailed review of his day and seem to take a genuine interest by commenting on his developments and personality.

I love the fact that there are extra activities on most days which are all included in the price you pay. Singing, sports etc, all included. I would always recommend this nursery to people and to be honest, when my son goes to school in a couple of years it will be hard to say goodbye to all the staff at Monkey Puzzle.
