My daughter loves and enjoys going to school because she's well taken care of and loves everyone there.
Though she would be going to reception by September this year, she enjoyed everyday going to school.

Both her classmates and teachers made her day in school.

Thank you so very very for the love and care.

She will miss the school when she leaves but just know she enjoyed it while there and was eager to go to school all the time.

So my boy started at this nursery and at first he just would not settle but now he's coming to the end of his preschool and I can't be anymore proud or happier with how my boy has come alone he loves going in to preschool always smiles never get upset going in the staff in the preschool room are just amazing Sarah is outstanding my little

Man can be a bit of a handful but never seem to bother anyway they laugh and say hes been this or this we have a good laugh and as a parents getting on with the staff is always important am so sad to be saying goodbye to this school as is amazing but if your looking for a nursery or preschool for your little ones don't hesitate you won't be disappointed thousand percent recommend

From the moment my son started in January 2026 the staff have been amazing with helping him settle in and helping me adjust to sending him to nursery! I was really nervous sending my son to nursery and all my worries have been solved! The staff have continually made me and my son feel so comfortable, and also been amazing with helping potty train! A special shoutout to Claire because my son absolutely adores her, she always greets the children with a smile and her energy is always amazing! (I personally don't know how she does it) she's always excited to tell me what achievements my son has made and at handovers are always full of information on what my son has done that day!

Just want to say a huge thank you to everyone at Portside day nursery and I can't wait to send my daughter there next!

My child has been in this setting the staff are lovely, great manager and is always willing to help i really couldn't fault the nursery or staffing

My child is happy when at nursery and is able to come home and tell me what the day has looked like

My child started the nursery in 2024 and has overall enjoyed every moment off being there. He enjoyed footie Mondays, colouring, singing and dancing. and he has made a lot of friendships. My child has learnt a lot from there. Such as sharing, learning, motor skills/fine motor skills, communication/speech I honestly would highly recommend this nursery to anyone.

All teachers are spectacular but personally a special shout out to Angela she is just overall an amazing person who has all the time for your child and you and will always listen to any concerns you have and will try her hardest to understand you and do her best to help you or your child no matter how big or small the issue may be. Thank you to all of you :)

Portside Nursery has brilliant facilities both indoor and outdoor. The staff are all helpful and always have your child's best interests in mind. I would highly recommend this nursery. They also have exceptional care and knowledge for SEN children and always try to put provisions in place.

My daughter started here in January 24 at the age of 2, she has come on leaps and bounds in just 2.5/3 short months considering she only does x2 full days a week. I've not only seen an improvement in her skills and milestones but in how happy she is to actually go into nursery - no more tears on arrival or pick up, she seems really settled and happy to be there (my biggest fear was putting her in a nursery that suited me workwise, but didn't suit her and left her unsettled).

All the staff are wonderful with my daughter, you can really see the focus on nurturing the children. Can't fault the place.

My 2-year-old absolutely loves coming to nursery here, she always asks when she’s going to nursery because she is so excited! She has really come on well with her speech since being here. All of the staff have been fabulous and I feel she is in safe hands when leaving her here. Thanks so much!

I use S4YC Portside every Mon Tues after school, staff so good with my daughter. She really enjoys going to the after-school club there.

Very friendly and supportive staff, always help and go above beyond with any matters that may arise or concerns I may have regarding my children. Have helped both my children develop massively with their speech and interaction with other children.

Lovely nursery. My daughter loves attending nursery, and all the staff make her feel so loved and welcome.
She has little targets to try and reach, which the teachers encourage. It’s clean, and the children have lots of toys and activities to do daily.

I would 100% recommend this nursery to all family and friends.

Excellent school - made my little one feel so welcome. My little one absolutely loves the school and is always excited to go. All the teachers and staff are lovely and very friendly. Always get updates after school to see how the little ones have been and get on.

Very friendly staff.
It was lovely to see the staff doing sign language for those children with reduced vocabulary.

Staff appear very organised and very friendly. My granddaughter is improving so much, the whole family is delighted with her progress.

My non-verbal child read an entire book today, out loud!
It could have been through memory rather than reading the words. But either way, she read the entire book. I am absolutely overwhelmed at her progress.
The staff have been amazing!

My daughter started on the 9th of January and all of the staff at Portside have been amazing with her. She has settled in really quickly and has been welcomed and supported by all the staff, they all take time to make sure every handover is completed. It really is an amazing setting and I'm happy my daughter attends this nursery. The staff even made sure they knew the name of my daughter's favourite teddy which really does mean a lot to us.
