Daisy Chain Childcare Lofthouse

We have been very happy with all aspects of the nursery. Since he has been with Daisy Chain he has explored new tasks and activities that we couldn't achieve at home. The daily meals that the children have are fantastic and very different from day to day cooking at home too.

My child has been going to this nursery since he was 9 months old, and he’s now 3 and a half. Every room has been amazing with him and I don’t believe he would be as advanced as he is without the love and care provided here. I could not recommend it enough, I drop him off and I don’t have to worry about him all day and I can check on the app whether he’s eaten/slept etc during the day which really helps. Amazing staff in an amazing place, the team are so happy and my little one loves it.

My daughter currently attends and has done so since the beginning of the year. The staff here are excellent and form a real connection with the children. My daughter loves going and is developing fantastically as a result. The daily updates are great and everyone I've ever spoken to have been only too happy to try and help. I'd have no doubts about recommending this nursery to other parents.

Both my children have attended Daisy Chain Childcare Lofthouse for a combined total of 8 years, and both their cousins before them. We can’t recommend this nursery highly enough, from the safe location, to the warm, welcoming and caring staff. The care they have given to our children has been second to none, excellent clean and safe facilities, meals are an extremely high standard, and the extra activities throughout the year are more than most nurseries provide. We were sad to end this chapter before starting school. I have recommended this nursery to numerous friends and work colleagues.

Having just enrolled, myself and little one have been put at ease by staff and we've both had an enjoyable settling in period at nursery. Staff have been informative, welcoming and accommodating for myself and my child which is greatly received in these unprecedented times. I'm looking forward to seeing how my child develops throughout her time at Daisy Chain.

Brilliant nursery. My daughter has been attending for the last 12 months and loves it. No other nursery or childcare setting compared to Daisy Chain Lofthouse. Finding the right childcare is extremely stressful when returning to work and it was made easier knowing we had made the right choice. I couldn’t fault a single thing. Having previously worked in childcare, I was very critical of all the settings we looked at, after all, you are trusting them with the most important job - taking care of your child. I feel comforted knowing that my daughter is being well looked after by experienced staff that show genuine care, in a safe environment and she is happy and thriving. Thank you Daisy Chain.

All carers throughout our sons time at Daisy Chain have been unbelievable. The care and support offered to our son has been brilliant. He has come on leaps and bounds since joining here. In his final year and preparing for school, the carers have taught him so much. His numbers and math has been brilliant and his English, reading and writing is improving all the time. Thank you to everyone especially his key worker. The time and effort put in has been invaluable.

I have nothing negative to say about this nursery. It is a great nursery for all my 3 girls, and I am so pleased I chose them to go here.

A lovely nursery with plenty of activities for all age ranges. Key workers help my son feel safe and comfort him when my husband or myself is not there. Great range of food and clean safe outdoor environment and A happy place where children can learn and develop.

Choosing a nursery is a very difficult decision for any parent but I feel that we made the right choice with Daisy Chain. I can leave my daughter in their care whilst at work and know she is happy. The staff are all lovely and treat all the children brilliantly. I would recommend this nursery to anyone.

My son started nursery when he was 6 months and now he is 2 years and 3 months. Both Pixies and Imps rooms are absolutely amazing. He loved coming to nursery every time. Food is amazing and different every time. Activities are excellent too especially those which you wouldn't try at home. All the staff go out of their way to make my son super comfortable and happy. I would definitely recommend this nursery to anyone and you won't find any better! You won't be disappointed!

My daughter attends 1 day per week. She has settled well with all the staff being very friendly. Every session we get a breakdown of her day. They are assisting with her social skills and learning ability. She is 23 months old. Her language has developed since attending and she seems happy after her day there.

Very friendly and welcoming nursery, great settling in sessions offered for new starters and I was made to feel comfortable about leaving my child there for the first time. We were shown around and reassured by friendly staff and introduced to my child’s key worker.

The availability of the online learning journal is excellent however some of the pictures are very blurry and can take a while to be uploaded. Some small improvements could be made to make this much better for parents.

The standard of food is good with a variety of healthy on-site prepared food. However, the choice of pizza for under ones is questionable.

Really appreciated the homemade cards for birthdays and Valentine's - was a lovely surprise to come home to.

Overall an excellent nursery!

The team are very welcoming and happy. I’m always well informed when picking up my daughter and above all the bond and friendship that the staff have made with her really makes me feel comfortable in knowing she is well looked after. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

The positive impact that nursery is having on our son’s development is evident and he learns new things every day.

My son settled fairly quickly into the baby room at 1-year-old thanks to the kind and very experienced staff there. He moved to the next room after three months and has completely settled and loves his time at the nursery. He has such a rapport with his key worker. She recognises his needs and supports him every step of the way. It shows how she genuinely cares and loves spending time with him and his happy, cheeky character that is showing by the day. I have complete trust and peace of mind leaving him there. I can't thank them enough. The cook is also amazing for his dietary needs. Definitely recommended. Get on the waiting list.

They have been incredibly supportive.

This is an outstanding provider for young children. My baby started at 6 months old and her care was tailored just for her. The staff went to great lengths to do whatever made her happy so if she wanted rocking, they rocker her, I took her pushchair in for the first few weeks as she wouldn't settle and they pushed her around in it to help her sleep. The activities are fantastic, they sent photos home so you can see what she is doing and she is always rolling around happy and doing something engaging. She loves going, she is always happy when I drop her off and when I pick her up. The staff are amazing, they look after the kids like they are their own. My baby is very attached to her key worker who is lovely with her and all the staff make her feel happy and safe. I am over the moon with the provision and I can't recommend it highly enough.

The staff at Daisy Chain are helpful, caring and I feel comfortable leaving my child with them. I know she will be cared for but also stimulated with lots of activities and play. The team have helped us to get her into more of a routine and supported us when she first started with nap time. My daughter loves nursery, which is all you can ask for.
