Daisy Chain Childcare Lofthouse

A big thank you to a member of staff my child's new key worker in the Imps Room, within a week she seemed so settled & happy with her new little team. All team members are so lovely & do a fantastic job with all the children.

This nursery is absolutely the best around.

Children go through many emotional and behavioural rollercoasters. My child was struggling, but her primary carer was amazing. She was supportive and loving. Two other members of staff in particular also go out of their way to make my child feel safe and happy. I knew my child was being mentored through her developmental challenges which gave me such peace of mind. I was also given tips and support for home. My child is so happy with her family at Daisy Chain, sometimes she prefers it to home!

Her transition into the final room has seen her grow in confidence and she has seamlessly transitioned into school, which we know is a result of the dedication of her key worker, who has worked hard to prepare her for the next stage. She has been a fabulous key worker for our child, who has always been excited to go to nursery and always keen to share her achievements with her. Our child has also been supported by other staff members who have all been excellent.

My 4 year old daughter has attended Daisy Chain in Lofthouse for the past three years and has just left to start school. The setting is very clean, well-maintained and has brilliant facilities inside and out. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and my daughter loved her key workers in the Imps and Elves rooms who showed so much care, patience and encouragement, both with her personal and academic development. She couldn't have been in better hands and has absolutely loved her time there. I highly recommend to anyone who is looking for an outstanding nursery.

We’ve had two children go through all rooms at Daisy Chain Childcare in Lofthouse. The preschool team are incredibly child-focused, knowledgeable, genuinely caring and a pleasure to chat to at the end of the day. We will all really miss the staff. A big mention has to go to his key person, I don’t think any other person could be more on my son’s wavelength! Across the whole nursery, there have been some stand out staff we’ve come across since 2018; one from the baby room, one from toddler room (currently on maternity leave) and his key worker particularly. But also the strengths and leadership shine through from the staff within the foundation/preschool room too. This can be seen through where our son is at academically, as well as emotionally too, as his needs have clearly been met for him to be learning so well and settled. It’s officially the end of an era for us with our youngest starting school. Thanks for being part of their journey.

The setting is clean and very well maintained with excellent facilities. It's an excellent nursery and we'll miss going there. We'll definitely miss the ladies Heather, as they have been so lovely throughout.

I cannot thank them enough for their kindness, patience and care they have given my children.

One thing that would be great is more detail for each day and more regular updates on the online journal. We see food and nappies but it would be so good to know more about the activities completed each day and how our son is coming on with his development, what is the next stage etc.

We have been so impressed with the level of love and care shown to our daughter at Daisy Chain Childcare Lofthouse and highly recommend the nursery. She started part-time in the baby room at 6 months old and is now 17 months and attending 5 days per week in the toddler room. Each day she comes home with a new skill or word and her confidence has grown massively. The staff arrange a wide variety of themed activities to encourage learning through play. We have also been really happy with the food served, it's healthy and very varied which was really beneficial on her weaning journey.

I cannot recommend Daisy Chain Lofthouse enough! The staff are amazing and so friendly. Both my boys love going and they have learnt so much during their time there. My eldest leaves to go to school in September and the staff have helped make sure he is more than ready!

This nursery has been fantastic in helping my child’s development. He was delayed in his development, he had only been there about a month when I could see massive fantastic changes in his development. He has been there for over a year and he loves it. Great staff. I just hope my new area has a great nursery like this.

I am delighted with the standard of care my son has received while at Daisy Chain Childcare Lofthouse. He has specific dietary requirements that have been met with a varied menu and the staff in his room have taken the time to get to know him. His social skills have really developed in the time he has been there and his key worker has been brilliant.

My son absolutely loves Daisy Chain he doesn't even look back when they open the door to let him in.

We get daily updates on his activities which show his usual routine and we also get lovely updates on special activities he enjoys including lovely pictures!

The staff are incredible and are very experienced they always have a lovely story about his day which they share when we pick him up. We couldn't be happier!

Our son really enjoys going to the nursery and loves his key worker. The nursery does lots of activities such as painting and crafts. The food is nutritious and varied. I would recommend Daisy Chain to any parent.

My son started Lofthouse nursery at the start of January and since then he is thriving. In less than two months he has really come into himself. He is always happy when we drop him off and pick him up. The staff are really friendly and when I pick my son up they will always spend time to give me an update on his day. The online journal is updated everyday so I can see what he has eaten, drank and when he has been changed and put down to have a sleep. Occasionally it is also updated with photos which are lovely to see what he has been up to during the day. My son was poorly when he first started nursery and the staff were very supportive.

We have just enrolled our new baby to start when they are six months old as we have no doubt that this is the place we want them to explore!
