Kids Play Bury St Edmunds Day Nursery

My child has recently started at Kids Play and I cannot thank the staff enough for helping him settle into nursery after feeling very nervous about how it would go. He has developed strong bonds and his confidence has grown loads since starting. The staff listen and acknowledge any concerns and support where needed. He seems very happy and developing well. Thank you so much.

My child has had a great time at Kids Play in both toddler and pre-school rooms. My child has been well-supported and really came on with her development while here.

So happy with the service, this is my second child going to Kids Play Bury St Edmunds Day Nursery. My older one used to go there from 2018 to 2020 and now my second one is in the baby room. Can’t recommend them enough. Very good communication, fast reply if I need help and amazing service. My baby is so happy at the nursery and she learns new skills, plays and eats very well there

Activities are good and varied. They work hard at giving a good mix of outdoor and indoor play with plenty of books and toys. The food is good and varied, with lots of fruit available. Hours are longer than any other nursery nearby which gives flexibility when our work days are long. Communication is good, there's an app to routinely update parents.

I’ve been using the nursery for well over a year now. My son and daughter love the nursery and the staff are amazing with them. They enjoy the activities, learning and playing. The pre-school room sends regular updates and moments to the app, which is lovely to be able to feel part of their day and great to show them and talk about when we are at home together. The office staff are helpful and quick to reply to calls and emails. I'll be sad to say goodbye to the staff when they start school in September. I definitely recommend the nursery to other parents.

The food that is provided is a really good standard and such a great variety. I know my little one eats really well throughout the day.

Highly recommend Kids Play Nursery! They’ve been great with both my children, they have both loved their time there. Been really supportive with helping my children develop and learn throughout every stage of their nursery journey.

We've been using this location for my daughter since she was 1.5 and my son since he was born, over the last 2 yrs. Both have absolutely loved it. The teaching/caring style here has provided numerous opportunities for my children to play and learn in a manner that engages and encourages them to develop at a pace that best suits them. The staff have been absolute rockstars - every member is familiar and friendly with our kids, even if they are not my child's main carer, and my kids are over the moon to go there and see the various staff. The activities are varied and creative, the rooms are deep cleaned daily, the kids eat better than I do, and there is a ton of outside time. The staff pay so much attention to my kids and I can't imagine a better environment for them to be in. Communication has been frequent, easy, and detailed. They are accommodating in all matters, be it a blowout, forgotten outfit, or just an extra hug from a rough morning. I can't imagine recommending it anywhere else.

As a named person I had to pick up a child from the nursery for the first time. The lady in the office was polite and friendly while checking who I was and directed me where to go. On reaching the room the staff were polite and friendly but also checked who I was back with reception as I was someone new. They made the process easy while at all times ensuring that I was entitled to be collecting the child at that time. Feedback from the room staff about the child's activities were good and I was able to reassure the parents that it had been a good day.

Absolutely amazing people and place. Our daughter loves it and loves all the teachers. It makes you smile when you are dropping your daughter off at pre-school and she still remembers the teachers from the baby and toddler room. Wouldn't change the place for a different one! Thanks a lot for all your help with everything that you have done for us!

My little girl absolutely loved coming; she thrived there. All of the staff are wonderful and caring not just to the children but the support they offer to parents/grandparents also. If I had another child, I wouldn't hesitate to send them here.

Our current experience in the toddler room is excellent. The staff are always welcoming and quick to settle our child and he is clearly enjoying his time there. The staff encourage the development of independent play and social skills which are notable at home. We receive frequent updates on the day's activities via an app and also at handover.

My daughter cheers every time we pull into the nursery car park! She goes in happy and comes out just as happy. The staff are wonderful - like family and I completely trust their care of my daughter. She is thriving there. I can’t recommend them enough.

Kids Play has been a real blessing for our daughter and for us. She loves going - never looks back when I drop her off! It’s been great for her development - she’s excelling in all areas without even realising she’s learning whilst she’s there. And personally, I’ve found all the staff so helpful and caring without exception. I trust them all completely and where I have needed some specific help with things (e.g. my daughter’s eating or sleeping) I have found the whole team exceptionally helpful and keen to work with us. I can’t fault them and would highly recommend.

My daughter found it really hard when she had to start a new nursery during lockdown, but the staff at Kids Play went out of their way to make her feel welcome and give her a big cuddle. She always has a smile on her face when I collect her and is excited to tell me what she has been up to. After recently moving up into the pre-school room my daughter had a bit of a wobble one morning, but her previous key worker noticed that she was upset and picked her up to comfort her. It's moments like this that make me feel confident about leaving her in their care. I know that she will be well looked after and comforted when she is sad.
