The staff is very friendly and professional.
After a few weeks, I could already see my daughter happily going to the nursery and enjoying the company of other babies.
The nursery is always tidy and clean and I highly recommend it to others.
My first child attended Busy Bees for four years. My second son has been at Busy Bees for nine months. I have always been very pleased with every aspect of care at the nursery. The management team are kind, conscientious and always do there best to be flexible and have been really accommodating in a couple of emergencies over the years. My son's key worker is wonderful and so caring. My son adores her and has made good developmental milestones thanks to her support. Both the outdoor and indoor facilities are exceptional. Particularly the outdoor area which is probably the best in Fulham. I have directed a few parents to busy bees over the years and have no hesitation recommending this nursery unreservedly.
Our son has been at Busy Bees for one day a week since he was three months old. He is now one and has recently started to do one extra day as I am now back at work. The nursery is warm, loving and extremely attentive to our son. As a result, he loves it and I feel confident leaving him there. Whilst we could have chosen a more formal setting, what is more important is to see the staff genuinely form attachments to my son. Some staff who have moved to the older class mentioned more than once how excited they are to have him in their room. I had visited some nurseries which were very prestigious but felt a bit cold and also some that felt old and run down. Busy Bees feels a good balance of being run like a business, so everything is smooth and easy but with the added touch of being loving and kind. Sometimes our son comes home quite messy, but he is happy and usually because he’s a big eater and has participated in fun activities! Save your best clothes for the days he’s not at nursery.
We do have concerns over the staff turnover at the management level and that that there is no focus, especially since the nursery was acquired by Busy Bees. There needs to be a permanent solution very soon to give direction and guidance to the staff.
My child has been attending Busy Bees at Fulham for a few months now and could not be happier with the nursery. As many kids she had some problems adjusting to attending the nursery and not being at home, however, after a few sessions this went away as she was having lots of fun during her stays. She is now really happy when we arrive at the nursery and she rushes to the room to have breakfast with the other children. She has adjusted and developed very well. As parents we love this nursery for three main reasons. First, the staff, they care very well for the children and track their development periodically, they make their learning fun and are successful in establishing a routine and feeding them quality food (my child is a fussy eater but eats reasonably well at the nursery). Second, they have excellent planning and allow much needed flexibility for working parents, extra sessions are easily booked with a week's notice. Third, the outdoor area is big and they make ample use of it.
I am extremely happy with my choice of nursery. I feel comfortable and at ease when at work, knowing my daughter is happy and well cared for.
Busy Bee Fulham is a great nursery. My triplets love going there. They are well taken care of and do loads of exciting activities such as Spanish and French lessons, painting... they always come back happy from the nursery. They love the garden. This is by far the best nursery garden I have ever seen. The team are nice and kind. Love to see also the pictures of my children during the day as they upload them on the app. I recommend the nursery.
They have fun activities throughout the week and delicious meals cooked onsite.
We feel comfortable knowing she is in good hands.
The staff: children ratio seems quite stretched, however, and I think the nursery staff are working on this. I have mentioned that there should be more focus on learning especially in pre-school and I have been impressed with how the feedback has been taken on board. The management team is excellent and there is a wide range of activities for children (Mandarin, Spanish, tennis...) which is much better than many other nurseries out there. The playground is also huge.
My son and daughter settled very quickly and are happy to go to nursery. The staff take everything you say about your child into account and follow the instructions from you in particular in the baby room with routines. The staff made the settling period easy and was done at a pace that was comfortable for my children.
Lastly, my children enjoy the extracurricular classes which are very fun but educational. There's a variety of classes the children can do daily without additional costs. My son's favourite would be ballet and tennis.
This nursery is simply outstanding! The staff team are amazing and go above and beyond to ensure that your child/children’s needs are met. The nursery itself has beautiful furnishings and the equipment provided is suited specifically for each child’s age group. Both my children simply love this nursery, I have such wonderful memories and still do. I highly recommend this nursery to everyone.
My daughter loves all the staff, her key person is amazing (they do lovely things like making family books, uploading photos onto the new (brilliant I might add) online system so I can see her having fun with water play, painting etc. when I'm in work)) The manager is brilliant, she personally stepped in to help when my daughter was having issues napping. An impressive mix of business/managerial skills but amazing with kids too. Highly Recommend.
Our key workers, from the baby room to the preschool room, have been wonderful and always shown our daughter love and attention.
In addition, the manager is very has a warm welcoming smile every morning and has helped with any issue we might have. I would not hesitate to recommend 57 Filmer Road.
My daughter has been attending Filmer Road for 3 months and we are extremely happy with it. The staff are friendly, helpful and very loving and caring towards my daughter. Facilities in each room are great. They take a great interest in her wellbeing and development and she is happy going in everyday.
They have a coffee and breakfast station for parents, they have pasties once a week for the kids. They are always asking what they can do to improve their services. They are really reasonable for the service they offer. My child has come on leaps and bounds since being here and his speech has improved by at least 60%.
I have come from a nursery where he was having an incident (him being hurt) every other week. Huge outside space for an inner city nursery and they are always having deliveries of new toys and books for the children. They also always ask about religious holidays that are celebrated at home so they can celebrate them in nursery.
The space is fantastic, especially the garden. There are lots of stimulating toys, books and activities in the room which seem to change often. The staff are nurturing the interests that my daughter expresses in certain activities. They have created a photo album about our family for her which is a really lovely personal touch. My daughter eats all of her meals at nursery (which sound delicious) and somehow they manage to get her to nap every day! I would recommend this nursery to anyone.
My son attending nursery seems very happy and likes going to nursery. I feel I get enough information about what he is doing every day and feel safe knowing he is in good hands. The staff is always friendly and whenever I have needed an extra session my requests have been accepted.
My 2-year-old was quite a handful, delayed speech, prone to tantrums, fussy eating and antisocial behaviour - in short, I was worried about how he would settle into a nursery environment or how soon until he was expelled.
Fortunately, his key worker has been excellent - always so patient and caring. He has become a different little boy in the last few months since going to nursery and loves going - he literally runs in in the morning and is much happier and easier going.
The staff are exceptional and the school is so accommodating.
They support my boys with their healthy diet and both have learnt so much from their exposure to French, ballet and other activities.
This might be linked to a very stretched ratio carers/children and carers who are not fluent in English.

Meet the Team (1)
Hello, my name is Biljana Dokmanovic and I am proud to become Centre Director for Busy Bees in Fulham. I have over 20 years of experience working in the nursery sector starting out as a nursery nurse and working my way up to becoming a Nursery Manager. I have two grown-up children and two very different experiences as a mum. Being a mum, I completely understand a parent’s point of view on how hard it can be to leave your children, but rest assured I have supported many families from their first day at nursery until they are ready to spread their wings and fly off to school. There is always a place in my heart for every child I have looked after!
I grew up in Bosnia and came to England 30 years ago. From an early stage in my life, I always knew that I was destined to work with children as I felt that I understood them individually and that each child is special. I had the chance to work in childcare for many years and tried my best to inspire young children and make a difference to help them accomplish their dreams.
As a Centre Director, I look forward to using my experience and my skills to inspire staff and parents in setting a good example and being a role model to all children. I am L3 qualified in Early Years Childcare and Education and have many relevant Childcare qualifications such as SEND, DSL, Management, First AID at work, Health and Wellbeing for children and staff and many more which helps me to provide best practice.
I enjoy going for long walks, visiting farms and generally being in nature. I also like to ride my bike and go swimming. I am well known for my storytelling and my love of art. Cooking is one of my favourites and all those skills I use in my work as children love them too.
I look forward to meeting new families and welcoming them to our wonderful nursery in Fulham.
