Providing childcare and nursery schooling for children between the ages of six months and five years, Bright Horizons Oldshoreham Day Nursery and Preschool offers a rich learning environment where children can flourish and develop by learning through play. The nursery takes a child-centred approach which promotes creativity, individuality and self-confidence in the children.

With large, bright play rooms equipped with age-appropriate toys and resources, children can participate in a range of activities which enhance their learning, while following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). The nursery also offers an exciting outdoor space where children can play safely and further their learning.

Staff at the nursery are highly knowledgeable in child development, with experience ranging from graduates and early year professionals to trainees with life experience. Parents are kept up to date with their child’s progress at the nursery through written feedback and regular meetings with their child’s Key Person, who is responsible for their development.

LittleSaurus staff are fantastic and cannot do enough for my daughter and us. Our daughter's key worker is wonderful and always has creative activities for her children. I am kept up to date on activities and developmental milestones through tapestry online. The management staff are friendly and know
all the children too. Couldn't recommend enough!

Our daughter joined LittleSaurus nursery 6 months ago at 6 months old, over this time the staff have continually helped her to grow and develop. They actively aid her curiosity and encourage her to be independent.


Her communication skills have grown massively over this time, as the team use BSL

throughout the day as well as doing lots of reading and singing of nursery rhymes.


All the team at LittlesSaurus know our daughter and always acknowledge her by saying Hello/Goodbye regardless of what group they work with.
Throughout her time at LittleSaurus Nursery, we have been kept well-informed of everything our daughter has done during the day and what targets her key worker is working towards.
We are sent pictures of her playing and her daily journal informs us of how much she has eaten/rested through the day.
I cannot fault the team in the baby room, especially our daughter's key worker, who I truly feel cares about our daughter as if she was her own.

Our daughter absolutely loves going to LittleSaurus - every day she gets a warm, happy welcome and she waves everyone goodbye when I collect her. We love how much the staff have helped and supported her growth in all areas and can't wait for her to go full time in September.

LittleSaurus Nursery is an amazing place to send your little ones! I would highly recommend this nursery as they have gone above and beyond to provide an education for my daughter. She has been attending LittleSaurus since 2017. She was diagnosed with epilepsy in 2018 and she has struggled to meet her
milestones.
LittleSaurus have been so supportive throughout this stressful period by ensuring staff were trained in dealing with epilepsy so when she returned to nursery, her safety was of the utmost importance to them. This made me feel very reassured when I had to return to work.
The management team are very organised and have secured inclusion funding to allow someone to work with her 1-1 on her developmental targets. They ordered specific resources to help my daughter's development. My daughter is now starting to make progress in the areas she struggled with and it is all down to Littlesaurus Nursery! You are all amazing at what you do!

Our son has absolutely thrived at LittleSaurus so far. I couldn't recommend it enough. The premises are so well looked after and well thought-out. I love that both the children and adults take their shoes off indoors. The staff are incredibly warm, professional and confident and our son adores his key-worker
who is very mindful, calm and creative with him. The projects that the children get involved in often have meaningful messages behind them to encourage well-balanced behaviour, and the sense of respect that is instilled is reflected in how our son behaves at home. He is also full of energy at the end of a long day because he has had such a wonderful time. The garden is a real asset and a highlight for our son. I believe that Littlesaurus encourages independence, an inquisitive spirit, a sense of self and above all, respect for the people around them and their environment. It makes me quite emotional to reflect on how content we feel knowing our son is in such safe and caring hands.

My daughter started at LittleSaurus on her second birthday, nearly a year ago. Since then she is constantly asking to go to nursery more. She has developed so much with her speech, learning, and general development. I couldn’t thank the staff at LittleSaurus enough for helping our incredible little
girl along, considering she was born at 26 weeks she has done so well and you wouldn’t think she is 14 weeks behind.

My boys, ages 2 and 4 have been coming here since they were 18 months. They absolutely love it. The staff are all so amazing and the facilities and premises is perfect. We get daily feedback and also great communication. They help with any questions or queries and really focus on the children's needs.
They are preparing my 4-year-old to start school in Sep and I just can't thank them enough for all they do!

My daughter started in November 2018 when she was a Year old and from the first day, the nursery has been excellent!
She settled in very easily, the staff made her feel very comfortable and the normal tears when being dropped off were soon forgotten and now doesn’t want to leave.
My daughter is dairy
intolerant and the nursery adapts all her meals to suit her needs and loves having her meals at nursery
Overall, the nursery and all the staff are excellent and would definitely recommend this nursery.

An amazing nursery! Its a lovely feeling knowing that your baby is in good hands! She always comes home after having a good day, with a good night sleep, which is an added bonus to/for the parents! I can't speak highly enough about how good this nursery is.

An amazing nursery which has provided a stable, nurturing and happy environment for my daughter to develop. They have been considerate to all my wishes in relation to her routine. Already my daughter has participated in a variety of activities and I have seen her grow in such a short space of time.
The staff are friendly, hardworking and always communicate on handovers which is a nice touch to hear how they have been and to know how my daughters day been despite the fact they have taken the time out also to write this in her book.
The environment is clean and welcoming. I would highly recommend this nursery.

My eldest son (3) has been coming here since he was 18months and he loves it. My youngest (20 months) started recently and again I have had no problems settling him. The staff are all so welcoming and professional, and so friendly, I couldn't ask for anyone better looking after my children. The nursery
itself is wonderful with amazing facilities and garden areas.
The communication home and with parents is fab and I just couldn't recommend them enough. Thanks every one.

My wife and I visited quite a few nurseries around Shoreham and further afield. As soon as we saw LittleSaurus we knew it was the perfect place for our baby in his early, formative years.
It's a huge credit to the carers and management who provide a first class service. My son is always challenged,
the facilities are excellent and the staff are brilliant.
It's great to see my son's speech improving every day. He's an active, happy boy and LittleSaurus definitely has had a big part to play in that.

The nursery is fantastic. Very spacious. Great outdoor facility for kids. I love the fact there is a webcam. They are very good at keeping me informed about my child's development and wellbeing but most important is the fact that my little girl loves going there. She is so excited about activities they
are doing in the nursery. Also, it's open until 6 pm which is very handy for me.

I am so happy with this nursery and so Is my daughter. I can really relax when she is there. She always goes in smiling and comes home smiling. It means so much to me. The staff are so friendly and always happy to chat about anything I want to talk about without rushing you. The nursery is so clean

A fantastic nursery. Our children have been so happy here, formed great relationships with other children and staff and flourished. They take great pride in organising lots of original activities and have a varied menu. Our children love the chef! I would wholeheartedly recommend.

I would highly recommend this nursery. We've had our two children in two other nearby nurseries over the last 8 months and by far this is the best. They settled after just one-hour session. It is one of the more expensive in the area but it's worth it. So so happy with Littlesaurus, as are my children.

The nursery consistently provides excellent care focusing on my child's specific needs and development. They have been supportive through changing times with advice and clear communication so any issues can be addressed at the nursery and at home. There are regular communication and friendly management
which allows daily discussion. All the staff have excellent caring skills and the nursery seems to provide a wide range of activities to focus on learning and development, physical health and play.
