The Riverside Day Nursery Windsor

My son has had a great start at Riverside. The staff took great care in ensuring he was in the right room, with the right key worker, and most of all, happy. He settled quickly, has a great time and this is due to the excellent care.

We have been really happy with Riverside and most importantly our son is very happy there. He has always been very well cared for. Since he has been in pre-school he has made great progress with his learning as well as with social, emotional and self-care skills. There’s also a brilliant range of activities and enrichment trips for the pre-school children - our son particularly enjoys his swimming lessons. Communication with parents has improved significantly since the nursery started using an app. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Riverside to others and look forward to continuing our relationship with nursery when our baby daughter starts next year.

I have a 3-year-old who doesn’t speak or understand English. She had a hard time settling down but I was very surprised with the loving care each one of the staff gave her. They were always cuddling her when she was nervous and were very patient to understand her needs. Besides, they have plenty of outside spaces to play. I definitely recommend The Riverside Day Nursery!

Before signing my daughter up to the nursery, I could see there were plenty of activities to keep her entertained and the facilities appeared clean and well maintained. Upon her joining, the staff did a wonderful job at making my daughter feel secure, settled and happy. They really went the extra mile to ensure she had an enjoyable time when she struggled being away from home, she now cannot wait to go to nursery and I have to fight for a kiss goodbye! The carers are all are wonderful in ensuring my daughter is continually learning new skills, improving her language and communication and encourage her to eat and sleep well. The introduction of the app to keep up to date when how my daughter is getting on throughout the day gives me real peace of mind. I. Would highly recommend the nursery to parents.

We have been delighted with the care shown to our son since he joined the nursery earlier this year. We sent our daughter to another nursery in Windsor last year before she started school and were pretty unimpressed. That disappointing experience prompted us to look at alternative nurseries and we have been so pleased with our decision. I would recommend the Riverside Nursery to any parents looking for good quality childcare.

When I walked through the door, I instantly knew this was where my daughter would be happy and so would I. Everyone is so creative that each week the children’s imaginations light up to see how each room will be. The effort, care and personal relationships with each child is established with all the early education you would want but your child thinks it’s all just fun. You can see that time, money and thought is put into how all the children are cared for and when you drop your child off you feel confident that they will have a fun and happy day so you can get on with yours. There are many choices in Windsor but once you meet the manager and all the wonderful staff I’m sure, like many other parents, your search will be over. Plus if you’re that way inclined you could always use the gym.

Our daughter has been attending Riverside for nearly two years now and we couldn’t be happier. The nursery staff are friendly and helpful, enthusiastic and genuinely happy in their jobs and our daughter loves it there. She is always welcomed by name and her individual needs are always met. They get plenty of time to play outdoors even in the cooler months and there are a wide variety of activities to keep them occupied indoors too. We are frequently amazed by the things that our daughter learns during her time there and can definitely see the advantages of her spending time at this wonderful nursery.

Having researched into several local nurseries for my 12-month-old Son, Riverside were the most welcoming and left a lasting impression. The defined areas for each ages group of children are bright and inspiring, the new baby room and pre-school rooms impressed me the most, they have a choice of outdoor areas too. The staff are brilliant with the children, encouraging them to engage with both other children and adults and develop their skills. They are proactive in wanting to know how your child has been when you drop off and are keen to help settle your child taking away any anxieties. The nurseries new app for parents is brilliant, it reassures you that your child has eaten, slept and is happy, through up to date data, pictures and videos rather than the end of day debrief. As I’m sure all new mums are, I was incredibly nervous to leave my son in nursery, but the ladies at Riverside were wonderful. They gave him all the cuddles, attention and food required to help him settle in and made me feel at ease. He’s been there eight months and has been in younger babies and older babies, both lovely rooms with attentive and caring staff who go above and beyond every day (it still amazes me that all the staff know all of the children’s names). Since he started there, I can see how much his confidence and communication skills have grown and I know he genuinely enjoys going and has a great bond with so many of the staff. I urge anyone looking for a nursery to pay a visit to Riverside, you won't regret it.

I know my little girl loves going to nursery and it's such a relief to leave her and not worry. Plus they do lots of activities that are too messy for home. The team are lovely and very accommodating.

Our daughter has been at Riverside for almost a year now and she loves it. The staff are all so happy, enthusiastic and engaging and they have a genuine connection with her. She has learnt so much since being there and has made some lovely friends - as have my husband and I! It's a truly special nursery and we feel very lucky to have it just down the road from us.

My daughter loves the nursery and the extra activities that they provide e.g. swimming. She reduced her hours in march and I was worried that it would have a big effect but she's done well.

I would recommend Riverside to anyone in fact I do already.
