My daughter has been attending New Moon for over a year now for three days, from the beginning it has been brilliant. All staff are so lovely, supportive and take the time to explain the day my child has had. The app uploads are great and it's lovely to see how my daughter's day is going. The outside space offered for children is fabulous and they also have guinea pigs and chickens which are great to have around children. My daughter loves her days at nursery, always goes and returns happy which made it so much easier for me to return to work! :) she is also clearly learning a lot as she brings back new words, songs and actions which is great. Food is varied which my daughter loves too.

My daughter has been going to this nursery from the day they opened. The owner of the nursery Anna is brilliant, she is very hands on and has created such a warming, welcoming nursery along with the Manager Katy. The key workers my daughter has had through her nursery journey have always been very attentive and I can tell they spend the time to get to know my daughter and support her to play and learn. Recently her key worker has been very supportive in her potty training journey! I don't have a bad thing to say about them it's all positives!

Our little girl has been at this nursery since January 2025 and honestly, I would highly recommend it to anyone. The staff are warm and welcoming, making both our child and us feel safe and comfortable. The activities they do with them are amazing and we've noticed such a difference in her since she started here. She's grown in confidence and the skills she's been learning mean she's ready to start school in September. We're kept updated on a daily basis using the app with moments and meals (of which are always homecooked and devoured). Thank you so much to everyone at New Moon for your hard work and dedication!

We couldn't be happier with our son's nursery. From the moment we walk through the door, we are always made to feel so welcome - the staff are incredibly warm, friendly, and genuinely caring.

It's clear how much they value each child as an individual. The team dedicate real time and attention to our son, supporting his needs and helping him grow in confidence every day. We especially appreciate how they encourage his independence, giving him the space and guidance to try new things for himself.

In just a few short months, we've seen such a noticeable difference in how much he has learned and developed.

Lovely nursery, my daughter loves being in the outdoors and with animals and this suits her perfectly. She's come on development wise so much and she enjoys going. The food always sounds amazing as well.

A wonderful nursery full of kind, caring and professional staff. My daughter has attended since she was 2 and has always been supported and well looked after. The staff go above and beyond to ensure that parents are well informed and that their child is happy in nursery. We receive frequent daily updates via the app. Our daughter has SEN needs and without the support of the staff at New Moon she wouldn't have made the progress she has done. The staff have worked with other professionals to ensure she has the best care needed. Everytime we collect, all the children are happy and the staff take the time to get to know each child as an individual. We will be moving onto to school soon and we are very sad to leave New Moon!

One of the best things I ever did was move my little boy to this nursery. I moved him from his previous pre-school, as he never settled in this room at his previous nursery, always crying. It didn't take long for him to settle here. This place has a lovely family, home feel to it. When you leave your child somewhere you want to be happy with it and I have always felt happy to leave him there. This nursery has very caring individuals working here. The setting is amazing allowing the children to be outdoors, play on an amazing park and get involved with nature. I wish my little boy could stay here forever but obviously that cannot happen, when he leaves in August to start school I am going to be heart broken. The value for money is incredible. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for his amazing time here.

New Moon Nursery - Castleford has been a star and a game changer with our baby boy. The staff it's just brilliant, caring and lovely! We just moved to the area and they find a space for our little one and it's been an amazing journey. Can't thank them enough for the love and caring to our littile one.

One of the things we appreciate most is how brilliantly they've handled her allergies. The staff are knowledgeable, careful, and proactive, always making sure she is safe while still fully included in everything. Their communication around this has been excellent, and we feel completely reassured knowing she is in such capable hands.

It's such a warm, nurturing environment, and we've seen our daughter grow in confidence and happiness since joining. We're so grateful to the whole team at New Moon for the love and care they show every day.

We couldn't speak more highly of New Moon if we tried. It has been the perfect environment for our child to learn and grow from being a baby. All of the staff genuinely care and are an absolute delight, management are present and know all of the children well. The setting is well thought out and has regularly changing activities and invitations to play. We receive regular updates home throughout the day and always have a good handover at pickup where the key worker has plenty of time to chat - it's never rushed.

My youngest son is currently on the pre-school floor and has been at New Moon since he was 13 months old. I know when I drop him off on a morning that he is safe and well loved, which puts my mind at ease whilst I'm at work. He leaves to go to school in September and we will really miss everyone at New Moon. I highly recommend New Moon to anyone with a baby or toddler, I wish my son could stay longer!

Our experience of New Moon has been nothing but amazing since our daughter started in the baby room in 2023. The staff are friendly and care so much about their jobs and through every room our daughter has been in that love and care has never faltered.

Home from home for my son, both my children have been to new moon since 9 months old and what a wonderful place it is! The staff are lovely and caring, and the children all have so much fun together.

My son has been attending New Moon nursery since the age of one. As a new parent I was extremely anxious for him entering an unfamiliar environment from such a young age however, the staff at New Moon could have not made the transition any easier, warm and welcoming. I immediately felt at ease with him being in their care. All the staff, environment and facilities are wonderful and New Moon has brought my son on in leaps and bounds with his development. He loves attending nursery! My second son starts in a few weeks time and I'm looking forward to him experiencing all of this too!

New Moon nursery is a lovely home from home setting for children to explore and develop whilst learning through play. It has a family oriented feel and it has been reassuring knowing I can drop my child off there on a morning worry free. My child has always been happy to go to the nursery and always comes home cheerful, which is a credit to the staff at the nursery.

Noah absolutely loves it at nursery and i love looking at all the pictures of him playing with different toys. All the staff are very approachable and kind, they always make me feel so comfortable leaving him.

Absolutely outstanding nursery, the staff are so welcoming, friendly and patient. Every single member of staff makes such an effort to get to know each child and it gives the children a really safe and comforting environment which we felt from the moment we first looked round. Our little boy has absolutely thrived at New Moon over the past 2 years, the care and support he has been given has been heart-warming and his key workers have always taken the time to really get to know his character and the way he works best. I would absolutely recommend New Moon to any parents looking for a safe, comforting and supportive environment for their little one to thrive.

The best nursery around, my son has always had the best experience here. Never any issues and the staff are amazing. My son is so well looked after and his development is amazing. He comes home every day with something new to tell me or show me. 10/10
