The team have always been so flexible, helpful and we regularly receive updates about how our daughter is getting on. We feel that our daughter is thriving at Joyful Tots and we would highly recommend it.

He has made some lovely friends and the family events that the nursery run seasonally have meant we've had a chance to meet other parents too.

There are not enough words to express how happy and love we have for The Gingerbread House. The activities and sessions that are provided to the children are incredible and challenge all aspects of their development. The transformation of the outside play space is phenomenal. With each age group having appropriate outside space and play equipment for them. A huge thanks goes to all of the staff who work tirelessly everyday and because of this our sons language and communication skills have come on leaps and bounds. They encourage him to talk about his feelings, things that he sees, things he is doing and this has all helped to develop his speech. The app is really easy to use and we can communicate with the nursery easily throughout the day. There are daily observations, often with pictures, which gives us something else to show our son and to talk about at the end of the day.

My son started this nursery in September, and since then he has come on in leaps and bounds. He went from being a child who would only speak to his parents to now chatting confidently with everyone! His confidence has grown so much in such a short time.

He has formed lovely bonds with many members of staff, and it's clear they truly care about the children. Every member of the team is so kind, nurturing, and dedicated and it really shows in everything they do.

Having four children, I've experienced my fair share of nurseries, but this one tops them all! I'm so glad I chose this place for my son

I have always been sending my daughter since she was 8 months and I couldn't really complain with the care that my daughter is receiving until now that she is 2. My daughter's development has always been excellent. They have always been flexible with our schedule demands and the staff were really amazing.

I honestly so glad I chose Joyful Tots for my Daughter and couldn't be happier in her development or their care for her. Would highly recommend.

Truly a special place - highly recommended

We've had such a great experience with this nursery since my son started in April 2025. After attending a few free taster sessions, it was clear to me that this was the right place-the children already attending were always happy, played well together, and the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming.

The staff have been fantastic from day one. They're friendly, kind, and always have a positive attitude. My son has settled in so well, and that's a real credit to their patience and care. Handovers are always informative, and I really appreciate the regular updates throughout the day via the app-it's lovely to see what he's been up to!

We feel very lucky to have found such a nurturing environment, and we're excited to increase his hours soon. A big thank you to all the staff for making it such a great start to his early years.

This nursery is hands down the best and most welcoming nursery my daughter has been to couldnt ask for better staff they are kind,Friendly and very accommodating the outdoor space range of activities and the care for the children is outstanding thank you

We are very pleased to have found this nursery for our daughter. Their biggest strength is their wonderful team who are loving, caring and so full of energy every day. They made every effort to settle our little one well into the first few days of the nursery and continue to do so. My daughter loves going to the nursery as there are so many activities that she enjoys doing at the nursery. The Mother's Day afternoon tea they arranged was a really sweet gesture and a good way for mums, children and staff to get together. All in all we are very happy with the team and the setting.

The Gingerbread House Nursery is a wonderful place comprised of a passionate and dedicated group of people! I had the absolute pleasure of interacting with the staff while recently visiting with my nephew and sister from abroad. It's apparent that they are incredibly kind and care deeply about the development of the children. It's obvious that my nephew enjoys being there - he's actively engaged and is connected to the staff members. Being present at drop-off and pick-up during my visit, I also appreciate how the nursery prioritizes children's safety. My sister often shares the detailed updates the staff provides outlining my nephew's learning, and it's truly amazing what they notice day-to-day. I'm also frequently blown away by what he knows and has learned so quickly, and I believe this is largely due to the tremendous support of the staff. So grateful that he's in such great hands! One of the things I appreciate most is how the children share a space while still having separate activities when needed. This setup creates a wonderful bond between babies and toddlers, fostering a warm and inclusive environment.

We had to move our son to a new nursery due to the old one not being able to accommodate all the days that we needed. We came across The Ginger Bread House and they were so accommodating and professional. It was always going to be hard for him to transition to a new setting but the staff were all brilliant in getting him settled in. For us it was a difficult decision to make, to move him from a nursery that was equally as good but we are glad that we have found a nursery of the same high standard. They have a very varied meal plan, along with lots of activities for the kids from Yoga to French and Athletics. We highly recommend anyone looking at The Ginger Bread House for their son or daughter.

My girls have been here for just over a year now and they absolutely love it! They have learnt so much and always come home chatting about their day. The staff are lovely and we have never had any issues.
