Offering reliable and flexible childcare options for families in the local area, the nursery caters for children aged from 6 months to 5 years old, with full-time and sessional day care options available. Every child enjoys hot meals, extracurricular activities, language and yoga lessons throughout the week. Creams, nappies, wipes etc. are all included.

Focusing on enriching children's early years education, the team designs and delivers a range of activities for children, sparking their curiosity and imagination whilst promoting development in all key areas.

There are not enough words to express how happy and love we have for The Gingerbread House. The activities and sessions that are provided to the children are incredible and challenge all aspects of their development. The transformation of the outside play space is phenomenal. With each age group having
appropriate outside space and play equipment for them. A huge thanks goes to all of the staff who work tirelessly everyday and because of this our sons language and communication skills have come on leaps and bounds. They encourage him to talk about his feelings, things that he sees, things he is doing and this has all helped to develop his speech. The app is really easy to use and we can communicate with the nursery easily throughout the day. There are daily observations, often with pictures, which gives us something else to show our son and to talk about at the end of the day.

We honestly couldn't be happier with this nursery. It's our second one, as we had a very disappointing experience elsewhere, but this place has been a complete game-changer.
Our three kids absolutely love it - they go in smiling every single day! The staff are warm, nurturing, and genuinely affectionate.
It feels more like a second home than a childcare facility.
We've seen such wonderful progress in all three children since starting - emotionally, socially, and even academically. The activities are creative, and they often involve parents too, which we love.
The manager, is fantastic - always supportive, responsive, and the kids adore her.
Truly a special place - highly recommended

We are very pleased to have found this nursery for our daughter. Their biggest strength is their wonderful team who are loving, caring and so full of energy every day. They made every effort to settle our little one well into the first few days of the nursery and continue to do so. My daughter loves
going to the nursery as there are so many activities that she enjoys doing at the nursery. The Mother's Day afternoon tea they arranged was a really sweet gesture and a good way for mums, children and staff to get together. All in all we are very happy with the team and the setting.

The Gingerbread House Nursery is a wonderful place comprised of a passionate and dedicated group of people! I had the absolute pleasure of interacting with the staff while recently visiting with my nephew and sister from abroad. It's apparent that they are incredibly kind and care deeply about the development
of the children. It's obvious that my nephew enjoys being there - he's actively engaged and is connected to the staff members. Being present at drop-off and pick-up during my visit, I also appreciate how the nursery prioritizes children's safety. My sister often shares the detailed updates the staff provides outlining my nephew's learning, and it's truly amazing what they notice day-to-day. I'm also frequently blown away by what he knows and has learned so quickly, and I believe this is largely due to the tremendous support of the staff. So grateful that he's in such great hands! As first time parents choosing a nursery felt like a difficult task, how would we know which was best for our child, we visited a number of nurseries and when we went to The Gingerbread House, we knew we had found the right place.
We called and booked an appointment and we were shown around the whole
nursery, explaining the different areas for the children as they progress through the nursery and at the end of the tour explained how everything works, from payment to what the nursery could supply and what we needed to provide.
We received advice on settling in sessions which was invaluable and the staff's knowledge on how to best settle in was fantastic and reassuring.
Our son has been at The Gingerbread House for nearly 1 year now and I am very happy, knowing he is been well looked after and developing.
The management of the nursery are flexible, fair, have a passion for looking after and developing children and are always happy to help.
I would highly recommend The Gingerbread House.

We had to move our son to a new nursery due to the old one not being able to accommodate all the days that we needed. We came across The Ginger Bread House and they were so accommodating and professional. It was always going to be hard for him to transition to a new setting but the staff were all brilliant
in getting him settled in. For us it was a difficult decision to make, to move him from a nursery that was equally as good but we are glad that we have found a nursery of the same high standard. They have a very varied meal plan, along with lots of activities for the kids from Yoga to French and Athletics. We highly recommend anyone looking at The Ginger Bread House for their son or daughter.

Went to Gingerbread House Nursery's Christmas event. It was amazing, our little one had a lovely time. There was so much going on, toys, Christmas activities, seeing Santa. But not only that staff were so welcoming and friendly.

My son has settled in very well and is happy to see the staff as they take him in each morning. He seems to be really enjoying his time there as we see from the updates sent through the app. We were apprehensive about starting a nursery but we feel happy sending him in each morning, knowing he's having
a great time. He loves music and so has really been enjoying the mini notes music lessons they offer. The staff are great about giving updates on how his day has been at pick up too, and it's lovely to hear what he's been doing without us during the day.

My son has been at the nursery for just over a year, we couldn't be more happy with The Gingerbread House.
Our son absolutely loves going to the nursery. In fact, he was talking about going into the nursery to play with his friends and do sing songs every day over the Christmas break.
The staff here
really goes above and beyond. They organise different events through out the year for the children and parents. We have had summer fair, Halloween party, autumn assembly, Christmas Carol and recently, a Christmas party.
Throughout the day, we get photo updates and observation updates. You can tell the staff are really passionate about the children's development.
I honestly cannot recommend the nursery enough.

What a wonderful nursery! The staff always go above and beyond. We attended the Christmas fair, there was gingerbread decorating, a tombola and there even a visit from Father Christmas! My son (18 months) just loves it there, especially the music classes.

I attended a Christmas event at the nursery and it was fantastic! The Santa and elf were lovely and welcoming to my children and they got a gift at no charge which was amazing. They had different activities set up around the room including gingerbread decorating and colouring in and some extra games
at small charge. Overall it was a lovely experience and Elsa made an appearance too! Lovely little nursery, very clean and well maintained with friendly staff.

My 3-year-old has been attending nursery since 1.5 and never fully settled anywhere. His last nursery he cried every single day without fail, cries I've never seen from him and that was for a good 2.5 months. From the moment we walked into gingerbread he high-fived one of the staff members and ran off
to play. He stayed that very same day and waved me off. Every morning he just walks in the gate and waves me off, not a tear in sight. He always comes home in such a good mood and all the girls are so lovely. This was the setting I had been looking for all this time, so thankful to have come across it!

I recently had the pleasure of dropping off and picking up my grandson during my visit from Canada. The staff were very kind and welcomed both me and my grandson every morning. It was wonderful to witness how happy he was to go with the staff! He was equally happy (and singing) at the end of the day

My nephew comes to The Gingerbread House Nursery and I couldn't have more positive things to say. I first went by to pick him up this past October and was immediately pleased with the set-up due to the safety measures taken. Additionally, the staff are incredibly kind, communicative, and appear in-tune

We couldn't be happier with our experience at The Gingerbread House Nursery. Our daughter started here at just 7 months, and even though she's now 16 months and not yet talking, she shows so much joy and excitement each day. She's always eager to go and comes home happy, which says a lot about how well
cared for and engaged she feels there.
The staff are warm, attentive, and genuinely nurturing. They've created an environment where she feels safe, supported, and encouraged in her development. We're so grateful for the wonderful team at The Gingerbread House and couldn't recommend them more highly!
