Both my children attend St. David's Prep School and soon my 3rd will be attending pre-reception. We can't praise the school enough! Our children are so happy and have learn't so much from behaviour to learning an abundance of academics and creativity. The stuff are fantastic, approachable and friendly
with upholding professionalism. The school take great care with education, emotional support and giving the children a boost of confidence within themselves to thrive.

The staff are so caring, pay so much attention to detail and attentive to all my children's needs. They go over and above to make every day fun, exciting and all new adventures for the children. Every daily/weekly review is so extensive, and I know my child is in the best place for development.
The
facilities are fantastic, I love E being outdoors, and CMP is the best for it!

Can't recommend Cricklade Manor nursery enough! My husband and I were a bit apprehensive as to how well our son would adjust as we moved him from another nursery (where he was also very happy) but we couldn't be happier with how well he's settled in. After only a couple of settling in sessions, he instantly
took to the staff and from day one, happily went to them no issue at drop off. All the staff are extremely friendly & communicative which has helped my husband and I adjust too. Our son absolutely loves going into nursery every day and has made so many new friends. We have also been extremely impressed with the weekly updates from our son's room leader, which provide a lovely summary of the theme for each week and what activities they've been involved in, as well as lots of pictures of the children so parents can visually see what they've been up to. The nursery itself is lovely, from the large rooms & gardens to the onsite Forrest school. Highly recommend!

Sending our daughter to St Mary's for nursery is one of the best decisions we have made. She has been at St Mary's for 18 months and has loved every minute of it. The nursery (both the teachers in the room and all the support staff) are nurturing, fun and so caring and it has helped her develop into
a kind, bright, interested and polite individual.
We love that the nursery mixes with the rest of the school, and we constantly bump into older children who know my daughter well and are friendly. Her buddy has been a joy and gives her so much love and confidence. Everyone seems to know each other well. She has made some fab friends too.
She has loved doing PE, French and music along with things such as her numbers and phonics to help her get ready for school. The themes of the week are fab, and there is always different activities set out. Lastly, we have to mention 'Wild ones' where they get to explore nature and be absorbed in such creative activities.

We couldn't be happier with our experience at CMP. The staff are exceptional: kind, attentive and routinely go above and beyond. The outdoor space is a gem, giving the children chance to play and explore (complete with very tolerant chickens). My son definitely ate better at pre-school than at home
(and let us know as much!) The meals are varied, nutritious and so I'm told, delicious! Thank you for giving our son such a positive start to his school journey!

My daughter has loved her time in Pre Reception. We were nervous about the move from a nursery setting but thanks to the caring staff, warm environment and incredibly friendly older children she has absolutely thrived! I can't speak highly enough of everyone there. She's learning Spanish, goes to forest
school and various little school trips, does PE and impresses me every day with her numbers and phonics. It's been the best decision we've made and can't recommend it highly enough.

Both of my children have attending pre-reception at the school in recent years and have both been so happy there - as are we. The staff are wonderfully nurturing and the activities the children take part in are well thought out, fun and very creative helping them to learn such important skills before
taking the next step to reception and the main school.
We really value the community feeling of the school as it creates such an engaging environment for the children to learn in and grow in, pre-reception included. There is a huge difference between the quality of care and learning pre-reception at St Davids and other pre schools in the area. I cant imagine a better place for them to start their school journey and would highly recommend to anyone considering it.

My daughter joined st Mary's nursery just after her 3rd birthday in April. She had never been left anywhere ( play school , play groups, day nurseries etc) she has always been everywhere with me.
She has joined st Mary's absolutely perfectly. She is so exited to go an always happy when collected.
The teachers are so caring attentive to each individual child and make sure they are perfectly cared for. I don't worry about leaving her there at all, I know she is watched very carefully they make sure they have sun cream on, always having a drink, changing there clothes if they get wet playing, takes note of what they've eaten. When I drop her off the teachers make sure she's content and happily playing straight away so we've had no issues with her being upset.
My daughter was very shy to begin with but after a few weeks she's standing infront the class doing show and tell. They also do a buddy system with year6 which is greatShe truly does love it there and I'm so glad we chose St Mary's

I've been privileged to see and experience a wide range of day nurseries since 2019. My youngest started St David's in September 2024 and I cannot put into words the incalculable difference of a pre-reception prep compared with a day nursery. I would reach the max word limit too quickly by talking about
the wonderful opportunities available at St David's - the facilities, hosted events, outdoor space, day trips (library, train, park, supermarket, garden centre, post office), life skills, learning, early reading encouragement, languages, music classes, actual PE/sport lessons, weekly forest school, reception readiness, community feel... moving our child to St David's before Reception started was the best thing we did! There is such a deep-rooted nurturing feel - I could not imagine him being anywhere else in this last year before school - the stark difference he experienced cannot be put into words. We are so happy - I'd give more than 5/5 if I could!

My daughters attended pre-reception at St David's Prep and had a fantastic experience! Both were quite shy when they started but have really opened up during their time there. It is a nurturing and loving environment where children are encouraged to learn in a fun and engaging way. They learn phonics
and numbers, do forest school twice a week, have Spanish, music and PE lessons every week. The staff are very caring and loving and take each child's personality into account. I feel pre-reception at St David's is certainly more educational than local pre-schools. Currently three of my daughters attend St David's and it is a lovely school across all years. The school has a strong ethos and a warm nurturing culture where children thrive and learn well. Would not choose any other pre-reception setting for our fourth daughter (a baby at the moment). A big thank you to the staff for their hard work and efforts to make pre-reception so much fun and educational!

My son is very happy at St David's Prep and so am I. He is in pre-reception and joined in September 2024. We're coming up to the end of the summer term now and WOW what a difference it has made with him. He is very confident, and is actually excelling a lot with his reading and numbers. Something which
I thought was not possible at this time. He also has developed lovely social skills and made a good bunch of friends who he really enjoys playing with.
The pre reception teachers at St David's are lovely, kind, welcoming and there really is a family feel. All office staff are also lovely and the manager has been a very kind and understanding person for us on our journey so far. There is an approchable and inviting/open door policy feel - something which I think is key when choosing a school for your child.

St. David's has been a remarkable experience for our family, especially for our daughter who is now in reception. From the moment she joined the school, we have been impressed by the warm and nurturing environment that the school fosters.
The staff at St. David's are not only highly qualified but
also genuinely care about each childs development. They focus on creating a supportive atmosphere where children feel safe and encouraged to explore their interests and abilities. Our daughter has thrived academically and socially, thanks to the attention.
The curriculum is well-rounded, blending foundational skills with creative and engaging activities. We love how they incorporate activity based learning, making education enjoyable while instilling a love for learning in the children. The variety of extracurricular activities offered also allows our daughter to explore different interests.

The family feel of St David's prep is something we value so highly. The team, especially that in pre reception, are so incredibly nurturing and kind to the children-treating them as if their own.
My son has a disability and therefore we had to be sure that this was the right school for both him and
us-and we absolutely haven't been disappointed. He is able to join in with his peers with some modifications if necessary due to the incredibly careful planning of the team.
The school grounds are exceptional and the children thrive both inside and out, they especially love forest school.
Due to the small size of the school, the children in all year groups know each other which makes the little ones feel so welcome.

My son has just started nursery in September and he loves going to school and the staff. He's learning and the environment really caters for his creativity and curiosity.
I'm very happy and hope he'll be able to continue and finish primary at St Edwards.

We can't recommend St Mary's Nursery enough. Our daughter settled in very fast and is extremely content there.
From our first visit, all of the staff have been very helpful and welcoming. The teachers ensure that the children are appropriately challenged and have created a wonderful community that
our daughter is really enjoying being part of.
