My husband and I viewed a number of nursery's for my second daughter. Nothing felt as personal as SELCA. They provide a phenomenal service, truly caring and loving each child individually to cater for their needs.
SELCAs prices are highly competitive, and also include extras such as nappies, wipes,
creams, sun creams etc.
The nursery setting is beautiful, they have a lot of activities and different play stations and activities. The staff at SELCA are fantastic at keeping parents up to date with photos on the family app. My daughter is always engaging in outdoor play, outdoor walks, crafting, creative play, role play and much much more.
Being pregnant with my third child, I can confidently confirm that there is no other nursery we would consider for my next child.
Thank you SELCA, our family truly appreciate all the efforts and love you provide so effortlessly.

Selca Nursery in Treforest is fantastic! My daughter has been attending the nursery for 3 months now and we couldn't ask for any more from them! My daughter comes home each day and chats away to us about all the fun activities she has done that day and non stop talks about the girls in the room. Even
saying they are her best friends!


My daughter attends the nursery 5 days a week which as parents we find really difficult but the girls in the nursery take such good care of her and reassure us throughout the day with lovely pictures of her enjoying herself. The activities they do in the nursery are so engaging, lots of messy play, art, role play which my daughter absolutely loves. The food provided is also great, lots of nutritional foods and a variety of different options each week too.


They have made her so confident and independent and were a massive help with potty training as well!


A massive thank you to you all. You girls really are superstars!!

I cannot praise this nursery enough.


I was so worried going back to work when my son was 7months old due to financial reasons. I felt he was way too young.


The staff made me feel so reassured and really supported me in the first few visits.


They keep me up to date and send lovely photo updates

which is brilliant when I miss him at work.


My son absolutely loves it there and gives big smiles when I hand him over in the mornings. He's developing so quickly and learning so much.


All of the staff are so friendly and chatty it's a really lovely atmosphere.

My little boy has attended Selca nursery from 2024 they have been absolutely amazing a lot better than his first one, they look after the children like their there own children. He moved to Bridgend road which is a fab nursery they do so much with the children take them out and so much learning and
fun. The wrap around after school and breakfast club is also great and the last minute care needed helps so much. Your all amazing and what you do

My son has been at Selca 5 days a week full days for nearly 2 years now and has grown leaps and bounds! He absolutely loves the staff there and his classmates and is very sociable and sweet with everyone. His speech is brilliant thanks to the staff and he's always learning something new every week that
he tells me about. His confidence has grown so much too. He has a blast with the crafts and loves the food there, where he always has seconds! The app is brilliant and I'm always checking it daily on what he's been up to, liking pics of him and his activities, seeing how long he's napped , how much he has eaten etc. I love hearing about how his day has gone when I pick him up and also find comfort knowing he's well looked after. It's brill to see him enjoying every moment! It's well worth the money in my eyes. It would be great to have more day trips out for him to experience new environments with his friends- would be my only suggestion. Thanks so much ladies! :)

My daughter has been attending this setting since April 2025 and I am so happy with the love and care they provide.
My daughter loves coming to nursery and I love that when she starts school next September they can also provide the wrap around/holidays and breakfast club care too and she won't have
to move to a new setting.
Shannon and her team are always on hand to support me and my daughter, they upload daily photos so I can see their adventures and are just at the end of the phone if I have any worries or questions. Maddie the caterpillar group leader is loved so much by my daughter and she always goes the extra mile to make her feel safe and welcome. So glad I found this nursery setting, as a single parent they have really supported me and my daughter and I couldn't thank them enough.

Selca Llanharan is a fantastic nursery. My little boy has thrived in the environment, and absolutely adores each member of staff. Since he joined over a year ago, his confidence, speech and social skills have improved so much and it's a real relief to know how well looked after he is. As a working mum,
it's so hard to know what is the right thing for your babies, and without a doubt Selca is absolutely the right thing for us!

I have to say Selca has been absolutely fantastic with my son, he loves it from the second he steps through the door to not wanting to leave when he gets picked up! All staff, including management, are amazing with all the children and are very supportive with the kids education and preparing them for
primary school!
The app is used and the staff update this regularly so you can check throughout the day. I absolutely love this as I can see how much my food monster is eating! I cannot fault this setting, every child is supported, loved and looked after and I will be gutted when my son has to leave to go mainstream nursery.
Finally, the pricing for the effort and engagement put in by the staff is by far the best out there! I'm aware that in the local area some other settings are more expensive, but this should not put other parents off when it comes to Selca Llanharan. All staff (especially Sarah and Abby, Emma and Millie) should be so proud of of the care and effort they put in!

As parents, we are truly thrilled with the service the nursery provides for us and our twins. The staff are so friendly, our boys love the food and activities they do during their time there. Above all, what stands above the rest is the clear bond our twins have with the staff. In a very short space
of time from starting nursery, our twins became so comfortable with the setting and the staff. We drop them off and they don't look back. The photos we receive during their days there show for themselves how much of a great time they're having. When you're a full time working parent and receive photos like that, it's so comforting and reassuring. The staff have also been amazing with us as parents. Whenever we've had any queries, they've always been so supportive and have got back to us in a timely manner.

We were pretty sure we wanted our little one to go to Selca and our visit when I was pregnant only confirmed that. It's such a lovely setting and the staff do an incredible job of looking after the children. My little one has settled in so well and I can see how comfortable he is with the staff. I absolutely
love getting updates throughout the day via the app. The range of food served is fantastic too, my little one gets so much variety. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Selca to anybody looking for a nursery for their little one.

This is a wonderful nursery. It is the 5th I've tried and is head and shoulders above the rest. My 4 year old loves it and is always excited to come. He eats the healthy food they provide, and I find out what's he has had and played on the app ( with photos). He learns tons and often talks about it.
Prices are very reasonable- and they allow flexible booking which is a total godsend. They have been such a help and I feel so lucky to have found them!

My daughter absolutely loves going to nursery. Even on weekends she wants to go! She talks very highly of the staff there and always comes back happy. I love the regular photo updates throughout the day. My daughter has been to 2 nurseries prior to this due to house moves and she has been most settled
in this one and it has definitely been the most informative about what she has got up to and eaten that day which I really appreciate.

My daughter has been attending the nursery for four months. I viewed lots of different nurseries and knew this was the perfect one at our look around. My daughter has learnt so much, being cared for perfectly, provided with brilliant activities and resources for play. The staff are so welcoming, caring
and reassuring. I feel so at ease leaving my baby in their care, they are hands down the best nursery we have experienced. The setting is clean, bright and wonderful. My daughter is incredibly content here and I would recommend it to anyone. Thanks to all the amazing staff, I love Selca and wish I'd known about them sooner!

My 1yr old started at the Treforest setting in June. Words cannot describe how fantastic the girls are here! My daughter gets so excited when she's waiting to be dropped off which is such a lovely feeling that she's going somewhere she's genuinely happy to be. Loads of updates throughout the day showing
SO many different activities. At home we have noticed how she is progressing a lot more too with their input. Fab place - if you're considering starting your child here then definitely do it!!

This nursery is absolutely wonderful! They have developed my daughter's skills no end. I love that they have specific age groups that the children are placed in but also combine the children for activities such as mealtimes. This has also my daughter to develop the skills specific to her age group but
also has improved skills such as cutlery use and sitting well for meal times. The nursery have been very accommodating when we've needed support around sleep needs. They are extremely supportive and flexible. My only negative comment would be that sometimes they don't update the app (although this isn't a regular comment). They send lovely photos and a big shout out to one staff member in particular who always gives big updates on our daughter's day and has shared specific skill information on the app too! The whole team are friendly and fantastic with my daughter and you can tell they take the time to build a bond with her whether they're assigned to her group or not!

Excellent nursery, the staff are wonderful with the children.
My child attended day nursery then when he started school, he was collected from school and attended nursery for wrap around care.
I can rest knowing he will be collected from school and cared for in a safe and welcoming environment.
He
attends holiday club during the holidays and I do not have to worry about him. He is in a caring and fun environment and the staff plan outings and fun activities.
He is also having social time when eating meals which are nutritious with his friends.
I highly recommend Selca.

Our little one has grown so much in confidence since she started at Selca in Treforest. She seems really happy and settled compared to previous nurseries and the staff are always amazing with her. You can see the relationships she has already with the staff, particularly the manager and another lady.
The nursery is really flexible and accommodating and I feel so relaxed leaving her and knowing that she is safe!
