Outstanding care. Our son G became a little owl in August and since then he has truly grown in confidence with his verbal, physical, and emotional skills consistently developing. The two leaders of the camps lead exceptional teams of educators who deeply care about the children. Excellent management and a really wonderful educational programme with support throughout our son's journey. We couldn't be happier!!

Our Son has been attending Outdoor Owls for nearly a year and we can't imagine having him at any other nursery. He is incredibly happy, confident and outgoing, interested in nature and observing the world around him with a desire to be outside and the ability to be entertained with the simplest of objects. The staff are friendly, attentive and clearly build great rapport with the children. We couldn't be happier.

My almost 6 year old attended OOs Richmond and my 4 year old son still attends. This was the best decision for iur boys, their sense of adventure, resilience, connection to nature and confidence has flourished more than we could have imagined. They absolutely adore the setting, the teachers and the how the days are set out. They also hardly ever get sick, bonus! It's been an amazing journey! I've had family collect the children from the setting and all have remarked how wonderful it is, how great the feedback is and what attentive staff they have.

Outdoor Owls has been a brilliant experience for our now 3.5-year-old son, who has been going there since he was 2. He absolutely loves it, and it's wonderful that he gets to grow up immersed in the outdoors every single day, something that feels increasingly rare in today's world. The social development we've seen has been incredible - together with his friends he's constantly dreaming up imaginative adventures and creative ways to incorporate play, without the need for actual toys.

The teachers are all genuinely lovely, caring, and attentive. You can feel how much they value each child. The activities they organise are both entertaining and refreshingly down-to-earth, teaching real-life skills in a natural, hands-on way that you just don't find anywhere else. A huge bonus is that he hasn't been ill once since he started!

We couldn't be happier with Outdoor Owls and wholeheartedly recommend it to any family looking for a nursery. I wish they had an adult version!

We couldn't be happier with the nursery, such a lovely experience for our little one, both in terms of activities in the forest and educational approach! Our little one is thriving and becomes more strong and confident every day, both physically and mentally!

Not enough space to shout loud enough about Outdoor Owls! Sending our little one there was the best decision we've made. The settling process was smooth, the staff are so genuinely caring (it speaks for itself when your little one is impatiently waiting at the gate and can't wait to go in and see everyone), the pickups and drop offs are seamless, probably the best catering out there (cooked from scratch, nothing processed, sustainable kitchen practices), being surrounded by nature all day and all the good it does for the nervous system, the other kids are all so well adjusted and happy too (which speaks for itself). I could go on. Ultimately, do one of the camp visits and feel/see it for yourself. I honestly have no idea how it's not oversubscribed, not sure if people are hesitant bc of the fact that it's a forest/outdoors which is a bit different for UK but I couldn't imagine sending my little one to an indoor/classroom environment having now experienced the Owls!

We have been with Outdoor Owls for several years now and cannot imagine a better place for our children. The concept, the facilities, but especially the staff are unique. It is simply wonderful to see how passionately the individual educators spend their everyday lives with the children and how happy and content the children are when they return from their day at Outdoor Owls. A big thank you to the entire team for their dedication which makes this possible!

It's been wonderful to see our daughter grow in confidence and independence, and to develop such a genuine appreciation for the natural world. She is happy (and often excited) to go off each morning, which speaks volumes about the warmth and positivity of the setting. Thank you to the whole team for nurturing our children so well and for doing what you do, we are eternally grateful! We can't wait for our son to start in a few months. We often say we wish we could come to OO too :)

This place is truly a dream come true for children. We are incredibly happy that our daughter has the opportunity to grow and develop in such an inspiring and creative environment. Real forest school was a new concept to us when we heard about it. Of course we had heard about the idea, but assumed that it would mean access to a back garden or a wooded area for X hours a day for the children, but then they would come in out of the rain.. however, when we visited the site in Cobham, we were blown away by what we witnessed and could not wait to send our youngest child of four there. Now two months in, it has certainly met and surpassed our expectations. The staff are so motivated to do the job, they care so much about the children and the standards they set for independence and growth are so positive and rewarding for the little man. He is absolutely loving it. We really wanted him to get more active, more independent and understand the role of nature in learning and development and this could not be a better fit for him. We are telling everybody about it.

Our daughter has been at Outdoor Owls for close to 2 years now and we couldn't be happier with her experience there. From the moment we first viewed the grounds in Cobham, we knew we wouldn't find a better nursery than that. She looks forward to going to OO so much that if we're driving through Richmond on a non-nursery day, she asks if she's going to OO and gets very upset when we say "Not today".

She rarely gets ill as the children are mostly outside, she talks fondly of all the teachers, eats well, looks very happy at the end of the day, and shows so much confidence. She comes back filthy, covered in dirt, twigs in her hair, and a big smile. Her dertailed nursery reports show how incredibly well they know.

A favourite detail of ours - how we know we chose the right place - is that when walking around, she is constantly searching for sticks and rocks and climbing everything she can and using her imagination. Outdoor Owls gives children back the childhood that we got to have.

Not only do the kids become resilient, fit and healthy from their outdoor adventures, but the incredible, well-trained staff ensure that their emotional and social skills are being developed simultaneously. They learn all of the life skills that children their age should be learning to find their way in the world, just in context of mucky outdoor play. Perfect! Our son is ready and excited for school in September as a result of the nurturing care and professional attention he has received at the Outdoor Owls nursery and we're beyond grateful.

For children, especially urban children, to have the opportunity to spend so much time outside during these formative years is fantastic.

The school and the teachers make sure the children develop physical skills, a ton of confidence and get stronger both in their body and minds. We could not be happier with our choice and have already confirmed the school for another year. Seeing how happy our daughter is and how amazing care she has makes us full of joy as parents.
