I couldn't recommend Outdoor Owls Nursery enough. The staff are all incredibly caring, professional, and supportive. They always go above and beyond to support my son, and it's so reassuring to know he's in such safe, capable hands. Highly recommended.

Our Son has been attending Outdoor Owls for nearly a year and we can't imagine having him at any other nursery. He is incredibly happy, confident and outgoing, interested in nature and observing the world around him with a desire to be outside and the ability to be entertained with the simplest of objects.
The staff are friendly, attentive and clearly build great rapport with the children. We couldn't be happier.

Outdoor Owls in Cobham is utterly exceptional. I'm not sure words can describe how happy we are that our son is able to spend so much of his time immersed in nature, and with such a wonderful team. As a very outdoorsy and nature-focused family, we couldn't wish for more. The thoughtful camp layout,
structure of each day, the adventures, nutrition, and learning is all enhanced by the beautiful setting the children are in, and brought to life by the fabulous team who work there.
It is difficult to refer to this as a "nursery" as it feels like an adventure every day for us and our son! Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts.

Our son started full time at Outdoor Owls at 20 months and we couldn't be happier with this nursery. It offers a truly unique experience to the children, who are outside enjoying nature every day of the year. Our son just loves his time there and is so happy running into the forest every day at drop

We recently joined Cobham Outdoor Owls and have been nothing short of impressed from the moment we applied for a spot. Our son is thriving and enjoying every moment. I cannot say enough good things about Outdoor Owls! My toddler absolutely loves going and has learned such an incredible amount going there. The educators are caring and kind and do well with treating each child as an individual and looking after their individual needs.
My daughter has such an appreciation
for nature and being outdoors (not to mention not being bothered by 'bad' weather).

I could not think of a better place for my son! They went above and beyond during his settlement process, they were amazing ensuring all our needs were met. They are very responsive and although they have many children they give bespoke care to each child. We get very detailed report after each term
which is very helpful in tracking our sons development. Although we live half an hour drive away from this nursery it is worth every mile! Dont feel need to mention amazing environment they provide for children :)

My almost 6 year old attended OOs Richmond and my 4 year old son still attends. This was the best decision for iur boys, their sense of adventure, resilience, connection to nature and confidence has flourished more than we could have imagined. They absolutely adore the setting, the teachers and the

My 2yo son joined Outdoor Owls Cobham around 4 months ago and it is the best decision I have made. He absolutely loves it - so much so that he often doesn't want to go home! He does all the normal stuff that he would do at a regular nursery (reading, playing with toys, painting, singing etc) but also
goes on adventure walks through the forest every day, climbing and jumping off trees, finding mushrooms and caterpillars (which he knows not to touch!), exploring the outdoors.
The staff are all lovely, we get regular updates with photos and videos on the app and a quick catch up on the day when we pick him up. The team provide a lot of guidance to make sure that we are prepared for the weather, with a kit list and recommendations for what he should be wearing. I feel confident that he is warm and comfortable all day even through the winter.
One downside is that he is perfectly happy to go and play outside whatever the weather - which I am not always so keen on!

Very happy, all around. Staff are incredibly friendly, all know your child's name, make a huge effort to make them feel safe and cared for. All day playing outside in a forest, with a warm yurt for naps and hot food. Recently started and already recommended to friends. Really very pleased we found it.

Outdoor Owls Cobham Forest School is an absolutely magical setting tucked away in the forest. The natural environment creates a calm, inspiring space where children can truly explore and grow.


Since joining, my child has grown so much in confidence and resilience. The team do a wonderful job of promoting

independence, encouraging children to take on challenges at their own pace while feeling completely supported.


There is always a fantastic variety of activities and skills to try, all enjoyed in the fresh air. From imaginative play to practical outdoor learning, every session feels purposeful, engaging, and joyful.


A beautiful place for children to learn, thrive, and connect with nature. Highly recommended!

My daughter absolutely loves it here, and as a parent, that means everything to me. She is a cochlear implant user, so finding a setting where she feels understood, supported, and genuinely cared for has always been one of my biggest priorities. From the very beginning, every member of the staff has

Outdoor Owls has been a brilliant experience for our now 3.5-year-old son, who has been going there since he was 2. He absolutely loves it, and it's wonderful that he gets to grow up immersed in the outdoors every single day, something that feels increasingly rare in today's world. The social development
we've seen has been incredible - together with his friends he's constantly dreaming up imaginative adventures and creative ways to incorporate play, without the need for actual toys.


The teachers are all genuinely lovely, caring, and attentive. You can feel how much they value each child. The activities they organise are both entertaining and refreshingly down-to-earth, teaching real-life skills in a natural, hands-on way that you just don't find anywhere else. A huge bonus is that he hasn't been ill once since he started!


We couldn't be happier with Outdoor Owls and wholeheartedly recommend it to any family looking for a nursery. I wish they had an adult version!

My son has attended Outdoor Owls Cobham since January 2024. The staff are fantastic - engaging, kind and supportive and he has thrived there under their care. He needed some extra support with speech, and the team have been excellent in providing that support and keeping us updated on his development
to ensure we are aligned at home and at nursery. I just wish they continued to provide facilities for school years too!! Special mention re their focus on nutrition and healthy eating too - their menus are excellent and varied.

My son absolutely loves his time at this forest school! From the moment we arrived, the staff have been so welcoming and friendly - you can really tell how much they care about the children. They strike the perfect balance between professionalism and warmth, creating an environment where every child
feels safe, supported, and encouraged to explore.


The team are fantastic at keeping the children engaged all day with a wide range of outdoor activities. I'm always impressed by how much my son learns while having so much fun! They do an excellent job teaching the children boundaries and respect for nature, while still allowing them the freedom to play, imagine, and discover.


It's such a joy to see how much confidence and independence my son has gained since joining. We feel very lucky to have found such a special place - I couldn't recommend this forest school highly enough!
