My little one had the best Valentine's Day at Great and Small Forest School. She comes home full of stories, memories, mud and a big smile, so what more can a mummy want?

An amazing place to let your children be children. My son comes back home full of mud, laugher and joy. He can not wait for forest school day. The leaders are wonderful with the children.

My daughter has been attending since June, she found it very hard to settle at other nurseries but settled straight away here. She struggles with speech and the nursery has been brilliant in supporting her.

Excellent setting - kind and caring staff who go the extra mile for my son who is autistic. He has been attending for 18 months and has made lots of friends and learned a lot. The staff are very knowledgeable and make the day interesting for the children.

My daughter has only been going to Great and Small Kindergarten for a short time (since January) but she's settled in so well and really enjoys going. They're so accommodating and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. We loved the fact that it's a small setting and not overcrowded. The girls that
work there are lovely too and you can tell they absolutely love their job.

My daughter has recently started to attend Great and Small Kindergarten (January 2023) and I can not recommend them highly enough. My child is a very shy 2-year-old when around adults and children she does not know but has really started to come out of her shell since going to nursery. The staff are
always friendly and welcoming and are always on hand to offer help with any questions or queries I may have. She has learnt an awful lot in such a short space of time and it’s wonderful to see her blossom.

My little boy loves it at nursery. He talks about nursery a lot at home and asks if he is going most mornings. The messy and outdoor play is perfect for him and tires him out for an early bedtime! They do really nice activities every day. My little boy has only been for 2 months and he is talking more
and is learning so many new words.

My son has been attending Great and Small Kindergarten for almost 18 months, and even though he's starting school this September he'll definitely be attending holiday club at Great and Small as he loves the staff and setting so much and they're all fantastic with him. It's daunting for any parent choosing
a nursery for your child, and trusting whose hands they're going to be in. But after looking around multiple nurseries Great and Small was perfect. My son is nonverbal and autistic, much of the diagnosis process has happened whilst he's been at nursery and they've been so hands-on and supportive. The small intimate setting and the amount of time they spend playing outside is perfect for my little boy, and all the staff go out of their way to make sure he's happy and accommodated, which can be difficult with a child that can't speak, but I couldn't have asked for a better nursery for him and would highly recommend to any parent. All the staff are fantastic and keep you updated, we'll be sad to say goodbye!

My little boy absolutely raves about his Forest School and it's sad to see him leave, he has made lots of friends and enjoyed playing games with them in the great outdoors. I can highly recommend Great and Small, the staff are lovely, the environment is brilliant and the kids have a great time! It's

We can highly recommend Great and Small Kindergarten. We enrolled our son in both settings and he absolutely loved every minute of his time there. The forest school is amazing, he was always so excited to go and play in the outdoors and it has taught him skills he wouldn't have learnt anywhere else.
The preschool is as equally fantastic, the staff are caring and informative and there wasn't a single day our little boy didn't want to go. In both settings, they took their time to get to know him and what he needed and he has flourished with their support.

My son (3) has been coming to Forest School on Tuesday mornings since September. He absolutely loves it, he’s been buzzing with enthusiasm after every session and it is a highlight of his week. I have been so impressed with the weekly observations we receive through the online journal, the personalised
and detailed comments really make my day and it’s lovely to know he is being so well looked after. The passion from the staff and their care for the children shine through, and as a parent, that really is the most important thing! The opportunity to mix with other children, play on their own terms and follow their own interests is fantastic and I would highly recommend this setting to all of my friends. My other son who is nearly 2 will love it too when he is old enough to join in!

My little girl has absolutely loved coming to Forest School. She has made her first-ever friends and after being really shy due to being in lockdown she has really come out of her shell. She loves doing the different activities each week especially painting and adores splashing in the stream when it
runs through. Thanks for being such an amazing part of her development. We can't wait to book on to the next block.

My 3-year-old started the preschool sessions in September 2021. He absolutely loves it and is very excited on Sunday nights getting ready! He comes home absolutely full of mud which is perfect, showing he’s had a busy day exploring. He attends one day a week and spends three days a week at the kindergarten.
All using funded hours. I fully trust them with my son's allergies. He tells me about playing in the water, the mud kitchen and adding water to hills to make them a better slide! I also have the option to pay for lunch which is made on the campfire which my boy loves!

My son has attended this forest school since it very first started doing preschool sessions! It is a very big and important part of my son's life and I believe it has contributed to his confidence in himself in almost every way.

Their ancient bit of woodland is the perfect environment to be in which they have developed to make it a nice place to spend prolonged periods of time.
Activities and projects are planned for the children, but they are also given the trust and freedom to follow their own plans for the day if that’s what they want to do.
I could keep going about how much we love the forest school, but the fact my son loves it so much that he celebrates that he’s going the next day says it all!

My son has been attending Forest School since October 2020. He absolutely loves it and has progressed in so many ways. He has become more connected to nature and has a real love for the outdoors. The staff at Great and Small are nurturing and provide an environment where children gain confidence and
self-esteem. The setting also allows children to engage in risky play which has many benefits for children’s development. It’s a wonderful childcare setting and I am so happy that my little boy loves attending!

My daughter goes to this nursery and she absolutely loves it. She loves it that much that she even wants to go on her days off. My child is absolutely loving kindergarten. He’s making so much progress and the activities reflect the children’s interests and needs. It’s like a small family where all the staff know each child well. Absolutely love this nursery. I love that I can use the funded hours without additional costs incurred.
A variety of snacks are offered morning and afternoon. My boy loves it when they go for walks to the shops or the park. They are amazing.
