After my son wouldn’t settle in his old nursery environment we decided to move him to Bright Stars in Birtley after being left mesmerised and impressed by everything it had to offer! We knew straight away it was the place for him! My son adapted amazingly quick and after being recently diagnosed with
autism this year the staff have been nothing but outstanding with his needs! We’ve seen such an improvement in him since he started here from going from non-verbal to now saying lots of words! We are now feeling like we can relax when he’s at nursery as we have every reassurance that he’s in great hands with all the staff! I want to thank the keyworkers and all her team for all the help they have given our son over the last year!

I can’t rate this nursery enough, from the staff to the facilities, cleanliness and friendliness - everything has been brilliant. My little girl was here from when the nursery first opened and just left in July, and on every step of her journey, the staff have been so supportive of her needs. Now her
brother is attending, and again, the staff have been amazing.

Staff are all amazing. My daughter loves going there; she always comes out super happy and doesn't want to leave. We recommend the nursery 100%. We looked at a few in our area and decided on this one, and it was definitely a great decision.

I would like to acknowledge an outstanding staff member. We have been so fortunate as parents to have him caring for our little girl. It’s so nice when someone ‘gets’ your child and sees her the way we do. I feel and have noticed that he really brings out the children’s own individual personalities,
and strengths and I adore the way he encourages learning through fun outdoor play especially! We will all really miss him!
I hope my families at work feel the same secure feeling that I get when I leave my child in his care.

I am a shift-working mum with very limited childcare. Birtley Bright Star have been so accommodating on a shift pattern for my child. All the staff are so friendly and have updated me on anything I need to know, unbelievably helpful due to us not attending every week.

see how they’ve got along and what they’ve been up to and they have loved every meal supplied and the activities they’ve got done. I couldn’t recommend the nursery enough. Thank you.
