Most importantly, our daughter is very happy at this nursery. She is always excited to see the staff in the morning and I can tell that they really enjoy working with children.

After my son wouldn’t settle in his old nursery environment we decided to move him to Bright Stars in Birtley after being left mesmerised and impressed by everything it had to offer! We knew straight away it was the place for him! My son adapted amazingly quick and after being recently diagnosed with autism this year the staff have been nothing but outstanding with his needs! We’ve seen such an improvement in him since he started here from going from non-verbal to now saying lots of words! We are now feeling like we can relax when he’s at nursery as we have every reassurance that he’s in great hands with all the staff! I want to thank the keyworkers and all her team for all the help they have given our son over the last year!

Lovely nursery with fabulous staff both my children has loved going there and continue to do so. Very understanding staff that work really hard to make children feel safe and confident - my little girl has become independent and enjoys every day she walks in happy and comes home happy

I can’t rate this nursery enough, from the staff to the facilities, cleanliness and friendliness - everything has been brilliant. My little girl was here from when the nursery first opened and just left in July, and on every step of her journey, the staff have been so supportive of her needs. Now her brother is attending, and again, the staff have been amazing.

Staff are all amazing. My daughter loves going there; she always comes out super happy and doesn't want to leave. We recommend the nursery 100%. We looked at a few in our area and decided on this one, and it was definitely a great decision.

Such a brilliant nursery, my son has attended since he was a baby and his development and social skills are exceptional. I would recommend this nursery to everyone who is looking for wonderful childcare.

I have been sending my son to Bright Star since he was 8 months old, and he is now in the 3.5 - 5 room until he starts school. I can’t recommend Bright Star enough! Even when he leaves to start school, I am highly likely to use the after school and holiday club as I’m that impressed by the care they provide.

Bright Star is a fantastic place. Both of our boys have been here since I returned to work. The nursery is fantastically well run, and the staff are fantastic. Our boys have thoroughly enjoyed their time here and have made so much progress in so many areas.

The daily diaries are lovely to see how they’ve got along and what they’ve been up to and they have loved every meal supplied and the activities they’ve got done. I couldn’t recommend the nursery enough. Thank you.

Bright Star staff have been unbelievable, I can’t praise them enough. With these difficult times they have been so approachable, happy and no question has been too hard. A lot of nurseries closed during this period, even for key workers, but Bright Star didn’t. They have been outstanding in my eyes and have made this difficult time so much easier for me knowing my child was OK whilst I had to work. Thank you for everything you’ve done.

Most importantly my children love it here. They have thrived and have grown into two happy kids.

Every day when I pick her up her diary is full and she’s always being active and on some adventure.

Would highly recommend Bright Star nursery; staff, facilities and learning is fantastic. My little boy has developed fantastically both socially and intellectually since starting the nursery and has become more confident in himself.

I can not recommend this nursery enough. My little girl has been coming here since she was eight months old (she is now nearly six) and every single person I have come across since have been amazing. My little girl absolutely loves going and has an amazing bond with the girls in the big room; they are always doing fun activity and crafts or going on mini adventures!

My eldest daughter went here and now my son does. The staff are amazing, can't say a bad word for any of them. I have watched my kids sprout all down to the nursery teachers.

My son has attended after school and holiday clubs at Bright Star for around a year now. They keep me informed on what he has been up to and genuinely care for him. They are excellent with catering to his dietary requirements and fully meet his needs (he has ASD). So glad I found Bright Star, just a fantastic group of carers!
