My daughter started nursery 3 months ago. We were apprehensive about leaving her, however, the staff were fantastic from the start. They know the children incredibly well. They always take the time to discuss how our daughter's day went. They don't try to rush you and always support your parenting decisions
when it comes to feeding, naps etc. The staff are very flexible with pickups and drop-offs which suits our working hours nicely.
Most importantly, our daughter is very happy at this nursery. She is always excited to see the staff in the morning and I can tell that they really enjoy working with children.

I have been sending my son to Bright Star since he was 8 months old, and he is now in the 3.5 - 5 room until he starts school. I can’t recommend Bright Star enough! Even when he leaves to start school, I am highly likely to use the after school and holiday club as I’m that impressed by the care they
provide.

Bright Star is a fantastic place. Both of our boys have been here since I returned to work. The nursery is fantastically well run, and the staff are fantastic. Our boys have thoroughly enjoyed their time here and have made so much progress in so many areas.

My child normally attends Birtley Bright Star but with the COVID situation they were moved to the Chester-Le-Street location just for this period.
Bright Star staff have been unbelievable, I can’t praise them enough. With these difficult times they have been so approachable, happy and no question has
been too hard. A lot of nurseries closed during this period, even for key workers, but Bright Star didn’t. They have been outstanding in my eyes and have made this difficult time so much easier for me knowing my child was OK whilst I had to work. Thank you for everything you’ve done.

As a parent you want your children to be in the safest hands. The staff here truly care about all the children and go above and beyond. My youngest child has a dairy allergy. The previous nursery that we went to we had to provide all dairy substitutes but not at Brightstar’s everything was provided.
One member of staff even researched recipes at her home for the cook.
Even simple things like nappies, nappy cream being provided until the age of two all help.
As a key worker, the nursery has been vital. The staff have been excellent giving the children a bit of normality during this difficult time. I can not thank them enough.
The nursery rooms are clean and spacious with each room having access to an outdoor space. The staff are happy to discuss and provide any dietary needs.
For older children breakfast club and wrap around clubs are provided again we have found this vital.
Most importantly my children love it here. They have thrived and have grown into two happy kids.

From the first meeting, the staff were extremely friendly and did their best to accommodate my child's care needs, my daughter loves going which is always a bonus, I love how involved they get her even as a baby they have her playing in flour sitting with custard and hand painting. I also love the fact
they put them in the pushchairs take them down to the park or even visit the local library.
Every day when I pick her up her diary is full and she’s always being active and on some adventure.

Our son is 3-years-old and has been going to Bright Star nursery since he was 8-months-old.
The nursery has been brilliant from the start, especially when our son had loads of issues with food allergies and eczema; which needed monitoring and treatment.
He has become a very confident and sociable
little boy; I believe that the nursery played a huge part in this.
Thank you to all the lovely ladies at Chester-Le-Street.

I can not recommend this nursery enough. My little girl has been coming here since she was eight months old (she is now nearly six) and every single person I have come across since have been amazing. They have always done anything they can to help if I've needed it and have treated my daughter with
love. Thank you Bright Star.

My son has attended after school and holiday clubs at Bright Star for around a year now. They keep me informed on what he has been up to and genuinely care for him. They are excellent with catering to his dietary requirements and fully meet his needs (he has ASD). So glad I found Bright Star, just
a fantastic group of carers!

My daughter loved the nursey from her first visit, and the staff are always supportive and friendly.
Food is great, and my daughter always leaves happy.
She is only in one day a week, and she has settled in great.
She loves the activities and day trips out to the park.
Highly recommended.

My little girl who is two has just started and she absolutely loves it. I feel so comfortable leaving her, and the reassurance from staff is very helpful. I can ring as many times as I like; they're always happy to take the time to speak to me to tell me how she is. My little girl always talks about
everything she has done during her day, and she loves it.
