Enrolling my son at this forest school was one of the best decisions I could have made for his education. After struggling to fully settle in traditional nursery settings, he settled very quickly here and soon began asking if he could attend more often.


He loves forest school so much that he often

role plays it at home, which gives me a lovely insight into the fun and learning he experiences with his friends and teachers. He has adapted brilliantly to being outdoors, has been ill far less than he was in nursery, and has made some wonderful friendships and memories.


I am incredibly grateful for the nurturing and supportive environment the team provide.

My son started Forest School just as he turned two years old and he loves it! There's no better place to learn than being in the outdoors and exploring. He always gets very excited when I tell him that it is forest school day! Would highly recommend!

If I could give 100 stars, I would


My son absolutely loves this setting. All of the staff are fantastic - L, H, and K are brilliant.


L, the manager, showed us around and patiently answered all of my husband's many "health and safety" questions (he was originally very concerned ), which really

put us at ease.


My son loves being outdoors, so this is the perfect setting for him. Not getting sick this winter has been a huge bonus too.


Although he currently spends all of his days at Forest School, I know they offer the option to split time between sites if that's what you want. For us, though, this setting has been perfect.


I only wish I'd moved him from his previous place sooner!

I have had two children at Dunky's. The youngest will leave next year and we will be incredibly sad to say goodbye to such a wonderful and caring team. Everybody at Dunky's makes an extra special effort to know the children and they are treated with real love and warmth. Ruby is always happy going in
at the start of the day. She loves the range of different activities she does and the opportunities to learn through play.

Couldn't recommend this nursery anymore, the staff are absolutely amazing and show so much care and love to the children, still being so new to the nursery I was so nervous however all the staff have gone above and beyond to settle both my nerves and make my son feel so welcome he absolutely loves going
and made such great relationships with staff and new friends I'm so glad we made the decision to come here

Our little boy has been with Dunkys (Sankey) since he was 8 months old and has excelled massively. Could not thank all the staff enough here for the amazing work they do every day. We're so glad that we chose Dunkys Sankey for our two. The staff are excellent and clearly care about them as if they were their own. Communication at drop off and pick up is great and we love hearing about what they have been up to during the day. The children clearly love it there and are always happy,
sometimes running in without even a wave goodbye - which as much I'd love them to say bye, I'm so glad to know that they are happy and comfortable there! We couldn't recommend them more!

Our little boy has been with Dunkys Sankey since June 2024 and we couldn't ask for better. He is a wonderfully sociable and kind little boy and I'm certain a lot of it is because of the guidance Dunkys provides. Just a couple of heartwarming examples: I love that the children all eat meals together
like family like we do at home, they are aoutsode and learning about the world around them as much as possible to experiences we just couldn't provide like having a deaf choir come to share their music with the children!


In September he also had the chance to visit a local care home and really be a part of the community. He LOVED it. He is so well cared for and the staff are wonderful. They've even helped me through every single one of my neurotic first time mum worries. We love it so much that despite moving further away we refuse to move him as he loves the nursery so much.

I couldn't be anymore happier with the nursery my son struggled to settled in the past with childminders but he started here the beginning of September by day 2 he was so settled I couldn't fault the staff what so ever in the nursery they all go above and beyond to ensure the children are well looked
after and safe in their care! Couldn't of picked a better nursery for my boy

My little boy absolutely loves going to Dunky's. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and have helped him to settle in so well! I couldn't ask for a better nursery for my little boy, he's come out of his shell so much since starting only a few weeks ago and has become so much more confident.

My daughter has recently started at Dunkys and I'm so glad she has, definitely the best decision in choosing Dunkys! We viewed different nurseries and Dunkys provided us with the most warm and caring greeting that reassured placing our daughter at Dunkys. The staff team are compassionate, thoughtful
and dedicated in everything they do. Dunkys provide a diverse setting meeting my daughters additional needs and always celebrate wins (no matter how big or small). They have taken the time to fully understand and know my daughter, her diagnoses, her likes and dislikes and are eager in supporting her development. I am so thankful for the team at Dunkys and for providing my daughter with a educational, safe and fun environment. The communication and collaboration in working with my daughter has been incredible and with my hand on my heart I cannot thank the whole staffing team enough for how greatful we are as a family, keep the amazing work up, your outstanding it what you do!!

Faultless provision, excellent outdoor space. Staff are welcoming to parents and children. Management are very helpful and kind as is the nursery chef and has great advice on weaning and nutrition. The building is very secure and clean, it's a wonderful environment for children to grow and the happiness

What a wonderful nursery! my son has the best time learning and exploring in the forest. The team have been amazing and really helped my son to develop and explore his love of the outdoors. My son isn't the type of child that enjoys conventional learning, so it's been brilliant that he has been learning
without even realising it most of the time. We are certainly going to miss Forest school now that we are moving on to 'big school' but we will certainly be back during the school holidays.

My son and daughter have both spent time at this nursery over the past 4 years, and I could not thank the staff enough for all their support, love, and guidance we have received. My children have loved their journey here at Dunky's and it's definitely down to the amazing staff giving them the best care

My Daughter started at Dunkys at 11 months old. leaving her was the hardest thing I ever had to do but in a short time I found she was in the best hands possible .Dunkys always went above and beyond to make sure she always had a good time sometimes not wanting to come home because of all the fun even
though she starts school in September she keeps asking when she is going back to Dunkys I carnt thank the staff enough for just being amazing knowing my daughter was safe and so well cared for when I wasn't there made going back to work that much easier

We love forest school! My son started forest school at Gulliver's when his funding kicked in. He settled so well and all the staff were incredible helping him to feel comfortable. We have recently increased his hours as he is thriving at forest school.


My son comes home with lots of exciting stories

about his fun day in the forest. He has made lots of new friends and enjoys telling about all the staff he loves.


The team at Dunkys forest school have been amazing in supporting my son with his extra needs and considerations. I really appreciate the updates I get via phone call and the family app to let me know he his safe and well.

My daughter, who has ASD, has always had a wonderful experience at Forrest Club. The staff are consistently kind, supportive, and welcoming, and she always comes home happy, engaged, and fulfilled. We book on each half term / school holiday!
