Dunkys Day Nursery (Farnworth)

Both of my daughters have been to Dunkys and I highly recommend. Such a wonderful group of staff who are all amazing, thoughtful and are amazing with the children. They always go above and beyond to accommodate needs and queries and I couldn't recommend highly enough. Thank you for everything!

My daughter has been to 3 nurseries and always got upset when she had to go. We took her to see Dunkys and she asked to move there. Since moving she is excited to go to nursery, the staff all clearly know her well, she's started talking about other kids which she didn't previously and I'm completely at ease when she's there. The facilities (particularly for toddlers and preschool ages) are amazing and the forest school is a huge selling point. Genuinely can't fault the nursery and we're looking forward to our second daughter starting there soon.

My boys have been coming here for a year now and love it. The staff are friendly & caring and I know when I drop them off they are in safe hands. They do a variety of fun activities with the children to help their development and the forest school is a massive bonus and allows them to spend more time outdoors in a safe & controlled environment. The food is very good with a varied menu and my boys eat stuff i never thought they would- big thanks to the chef who is very friendly & helpful and will provide recipes to make at home (although my boys don't seem to like my versions as much). The management staff are friendly and approachable and always happy to engage with parents and answer queries and resolve any issues that may occur. My boys love it here and have a good bond with the staff. I would have no hesitation recommending Dunkys to other parents.

Dunky Days nursery in Widnes is amazing, the staff have been amazing throughout. We've put both our children through their nursery and can't recommend them enough.

My youngest child who suffers from febrile convulsions suffered her first one whilst at the nursery and the staff were absolutely fantastic in how they handled it.

I would urge every parent to put their children through this nursery as it is by far the best in the area :)

I couldn't recommend Dunky's enough. My little boy started here in February of this year and he absolutely loves going. He settled in so quickly, thanks to the amazing staff and the facilities the nursery has to offer. The staff we have dealt with so far have been very welcoming, caring and supportive - building great relationships with ourselves and our son who is so happy and always smiling going in the door on a morning. Staff always keep us updated throughout the day via the app with frequent post uploads. We are very happy with our son's development since attending Dunky's, as within such a short space of time he is becoming more confident and we love to hear about his day. Looking forward to the next few years and continuing to watch him grow and learn. Thank you!

My experience has been nothing but positive from the nursery & the staff in the baby room. All the girls have helped Isaac settle in and he has become such a confident little boy in the past few months since he began his nursery journey. The team are always happy to help & are quick to answer questions or provide updates on Isaac when requested

Dunkys is a brilliant nursery. Our little girl has settled in really quickly and we are so pleased and relieved to see how much she loves it. The staff in the baby room at Dunkys are amazing - we feel like they have taken the time to bond with our daughter and know her very well. How they get her to nap & eat so much is a miracle! We have found Dunkys to be extremely well managed and organised. We have been very impressed with communication in general but also how thorough the nursery has been looking into accidents (which unfortunately will happen with young children!). We feel extremely confident that our daughter is well looked after at Dunkys - thank you!

My daughter has attended Dunky's for the last 3 years and has loved her time there. Staff are friendly, caring and develop excellent relationships with the children in their care. The facilities at Dunky's are excellent and provide children with a wide range of learning opportunities. My daughter has enjoyed forest school and is always excited to tell me what she has been doing. The app provides me with a full overview of her day, including what she has eaten and any observations made by her teachers. When my daughter was in the baby room, all nappy changes, feeds and naps were recorded which was really helpful. Parents can also add observations of any learning or activities that have taken place outside of nursery. We are so happy with our daughter's development since she joined Dunky's. She has become confident, eager to learn and is well prepared for school later this year. I would highly recommend this nursery!

My 2 boys have attended this nursery for 3 months and have absolutely loved their time here. The forest school part was the biggest deal for my oldest as he loves being outside and they have shown him things I wouldn't have in terms of learning. The baby room is so cosy and catered for my youngest. All the staff are so helpful and friendly. They will take the time to chat and listen to you. Sadly, we had to leave for personal reasons and Dunky's have done their best to help us in a sticky situation but would definitely recommend this nursery to anyone from the area as cannot find a fault with them. Me and my husband have been happy. Thank you.

Really happy with the nursery, both the environment and team that look after our child. Our little girl is smiling on the way in and always has a smile when picking her up. She seems to have a really good time when at nursery.

I would recommend Dunkies Nursery to anyone. All Dunkies staff who I have dealt with over the last two years have been very friendly and approachable. The facilities at the nursery are outstanding inside and out for the children to play and develop. My son's development has flourished in the two years he attended nursery am very confident he is more than ready for school in September. For that, I am very grateful. The nursery environment is absolutely gorgeous and so unique. The church building is set out and structured in a highly creative way that offers the children a wide range of opportunities, in addition, the baby room is wonderful! I highly recommend Dunky's Farnworth to any prospective parents who are looking for a caring, nurturing, fun-filled nursery.

Overall, Dunkys Day Nursery is great. Kind and welcoming staff who are eager to help and make your children feel comfortable and settled. The forest school was a reason why we chose this setting and it has not disappointed. The range of activities and meals that are conducted in the outside space is exceptional and a credit to the staff and resources. We as a family have sent 3 children here and our fourth will follow suit.

My child has built such lovely trusting relationships with all staff and it is shown that they all love her like their own. It's comforting to know how happy she is at nursery as she really does have the best day! What this setting provides is something so unique and different, which is not seen around this area. The outdoor provision is fantastic and my child absolutely loves spending her day outside in the 'forest'. From partaking in forest school activities her independence, learning and confidence have flourished. Overall, it is just simply a wonderful nursery!

My child absolutely loves going to Dunkys Day Nursery (Farnworth). All the staff are lovely, have a great knowledge of child development and I love seeing their relationship with the children. The app is used to its full potential by the nursery staff, its updated frequently throughout the day so parents are able to see updates on their children.

We are really really happy we chose Dunkys for her and recommend it to others all the time.

The app is really good as you get to see what they have had to eat each day and the observations they have had. The food is always varied and he always seems to eat it plus more. Definitely recommend Dunkys!
