foundation of self confidence. This was beyond matched and then at every point we (mum and dad) have been made to feel so welcome. Our child has made beautiful friends, some of which will now go together to their "big school". We are forever grateful for the solid nurturing community of the nursery. A beautiful foundation set for the next step.
I'd like to add that sometimes the nursery apologises for the more rustic look (scouts hut), but to me this was one of the biggest appeals. Bright coloured toys don't nurture morals, principles and inner joy- people do. And the people who run Cookham Montessori have been the best community for the 2+ years we have been with them. forest school and his weekly outings to the local day centre. I personally love the extra activities (sports day, dance show and upcoming theatre trips). Not forgetting how encouraging they are in reference to healthy eating at snack times. In regards to my little one's development, my husband and I have noticed his speech and language have become more refined. We look forward to seeing him continue to grow and progress in the fun safe environment Cookham Montessori has created.

My child came in with very little communication skills and now is a confident, talkative and creative little one and this goes down to the staff and all their hard work. They love coming in every day and always come home with a big smile excited to tell all about their day.
The school offers so much for the children and experiences that you would not expect to see at a pre-school. My child loves the forest school experiences and all the extra activities that happen during the year.
I cannot recommend Cookham Montessori School enough. From the incredibly lovely staff, the loving and nurturing nature of the school and the exciting curriculum that excites the children.

My children have all loved the Montessori activities they do each day, they love going to the forest school and always come home after their visits to the care home excited to tell us what games they played with their 'buddies' that day.
The turnover of staff is extremely low which is a testament to the setting. All of the teachers there are so kind, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. We truly feel like we are leaving the girls in the hands of family whenever we drop them to nursery, that's how caring they all are.
We will be forever appreciative of the nursery and all that they do!

My children are at private prep schools and I think the extras, trips and nursery shows Montessori organises are amazing. I’ll be so sad when my last one leaves. School is nowhere near as good!
