What really sets this nursery apart, though, is that it doesn't feel like a place where you simply drop your child off. It feels like a community - supportive, welcoming and full of heart. I know every person who works here by not just name but genuinely through heart felt conversations about my son. Choosing to place our son here has been one of the best decisions we've made, and we couldn't recommend it more highly.

I'd like to add that sometimes the nursery apologises for the more rustic look (scouts hut), but to me this was one of the biggest appeals. Bright coloured toys don't nurture morals, principles and inner joy- people do. And the people who run Cookham Montessori have been the best community for the 2+ years we have been with them. What a fantastic nursery! The staff are fantastic and build such lovely relationships with the children. They are so kind and caring, and my daughter was flying in super happy within a few days of starting.

Great facilities and lots of effort goes into creating learning opportunities for the kids. Have really enjoyed some of the extra activities this term including sports day and the day trip to the Reservoir.

Thank you all so much for all of your support and efforts with my daughter. The love has been absolutely incredible and we have been beyond happy. I will be recommending Cookham Montessori to everybody!

My daughter loves coming to the nursery and is always so excited to see the teachers, especially one teacher in particular. The staff have been fantastic and immensely caring with her and we will always remember the positive impact the nursery has had on her.

Beautiful early years setting with lovely teachers. Both my children have loved coming here. The teachers are very kind and sensitive towards each child's needs. Lots of activities for children both inside and outside. Forest school is an added bonus - an absolute delight.

The staff helped our son settle in wonderfully. He struggled to begin with and they were fantastic with him. He absolutely loves nursery and has learned so much! He will truly miss going to Cookham Montessori.

Lots of fun activities and parent involvement too. I've told all my Mum friends about this nursery, and they're all looking to give it a try. It's great!

Cookham Montessori is amazing! My son had struggled to settle at his previous 2 nurseries and so I was anxious about moving him again. He started in January 2024 and settled in straight away which was a huge relief. He loves going there and has come on leaps and bounds over the last 6 months. All staff members are lovely and welcoming and they are all brilliant with the children. There is a wide range of Montessori toys on rotation and I love receiving photo updates throughout the day of what my son has been up to. I highly recommend this nursery.

I often look after my grandson and pick up occasionally and attend events. I'm so impressed by the things my grandson has learnt and how he has changed from a shy child to a confident, happy boy. Having attended events, I've seen how all of the staff are constantly teaching, encouraging, correcting and praising all of the children. The children all seem to be happy to be there and the staff are all brilliant, kind and very caring.

He’s thoroughly enjoying forest school and his weekly outings to the local day centre. I personally love the extra activities (sports day, dance show and upcoming theatre trips). Not forgetting how encouraging they are in reference to healthy eating at snack times. In regards to my little one's development, my husband and I have noticed his speech and language have become more refined. We look forward to seeing him continue to grow and progress in the fun safe environment Cookham Montessori has created.

We’ve been at Montessori Cookham for 1 whole school year. My son loves Forest School and has really come out of himself during this period in a nurtured way. Highly recommend for your children. Well done!

Cookham Montessori School is an exceptional choice for parents seeking an enriching early childhood education. The dedicated staff create a warm and inviting atmosphere, fostering independence with engaging Montessori principles and tailored activities. My daughter has loved her time at the nursery and will miss it dearly, especially all the wonderful teachers.

My son has been attending the nursery since last year, I can honestly say choosing Cookham Montessori School was the best decision I could make. The staff are very friendly and always helpful. There is always someone to accompany the children when needed. I can see my little one is always eager to go back there every day. He has learned so much since joining Cookham. Love the big garden they can enjoy themselves when the weather is nice and the forest school he's attending. The facility is nice and clean.

I cannot recommend Cookham Montessori School enough. From the incredibly lovely staff, the loving and nurturing nature of the school and the exciting curriculum that excites the children.

Can’t recommend this nursery enough.

Cookham Montessori is hands down the most fabulous nursery. Do not let yourself be fooled by the modest entrance, it is literally toddler heaven. I have had 3 children through Montessori and they all remember it as such a happy place. The teachers are incredibly kind and the children learn a phenomenal amount. Incomparable to other local nurseries! They go the extra mile with fabulous trips for the children. My children are at private prep schools and I think the extras, trips and nursery shows Montessori organises are amazing. I’ll be so sad when my last one leaves. School is nowhere near as good!

Both my daughters have attended Cookham Montessori and absolutely loved it. The staff are incredible (many have been there for a long time which is a great sign) and do an amazing job of nurturing the children and encouraging independence. They also make a huge effort to organise special events that really spark the children's imagination. Parents are often invited too! Couldn't recommend enough.

Our son attends Cookham Montessori. He has learnt so much in the 2 years he has been there and we have seen such a change in him, becoming more confident in himself and with others. The teachers really take time to work with you when facing challenges. Communication is frequent, with newsletters and pictures sent via an app, so you know how the day/week has gone. Our son is always so excited to go to his Montessori and talks so positively about all his teachers.
