The staff are so welcoming and kind. Everyone knows my son's name and greets him and says goodbye at the end of the day. They have lots of opportunities for different types of play and I can see such a change in my son's development. The food is wonderful and cooked on site. I would definitely recommend Combe Down!

Love this nursery and highly recommend. The staff really care and work with you to resolve issues. Through settling them into new rooms, adjusting nap schedules etc - I have always found the team so responsive, helpful and caring. Our son has absolutely loved being here and we are so sad to leave. We had our son at Guinea lane from 9 months old to just over 2yrs old, and only have to leave because we moved house. Would highly recommend to anyone considering a spot for their child.

We cannot speak more highly of the team at Guinea Lane. Our daughter has been there for 4 years and our son started a couple of months ago. Our daughter has loved each stage of the nursery and how interactive it has always been. She has even been on trips with her room and has enjoyed the visits/events they have throughout the year. We highly recommend Guinea Lane if you're looking for a nursery in central Bath.

Staff are always friendly and helpful and very professional. They have been absolutely amazing with my non-verbal special needs child who has made brilliant progress since being at Guinea Lane. My child is always happy and excited to go to nursery which has been reassuring as a parents and staff go above and beyond to ensure that my child is able to learn at their place.

Very professional and supportive staff for parents. Staff are great with children - understanding and meeting our boys needs. Lots of activities to keep him busy and always happy to go in. Great fresh food (our youngest eats better at nursery than home).

My son has only been able to attend Guinea Lane Nursery for a brief time due to a move, but I cannot speak highly enough of his time there. The staff are attentive and friendly, as well as caring. The food sounds amazing - I sometimes get a bit envious of everything he has had to eat in a day. The facilities are wonderful, and my son clearly has an amazing time there from start to finish each day - sometimes I think he doesn't want to leave! It's wonderful to see photos of him enjoying himself as well, it makes it much easier to go to work knowing that he is having a great time.

Overall this is a wonderful place, our children are so happy to be dropped off each morning and we know they are in good hands.

My daughter has attended Guinea Lane Nursery since December 2020. As a family, we have really enjoyed every aspect of the nursery. The staff are really caring and the children are entertained throughout the day. Can't recommend it enough! Everything has been so easy.

Our daughter has had a lovely time at Combe Down Nursery and has made good progress. We have found all the staff to be kind, caring, helpful and friendly. They encourage good behaviour from children and plan fun activities. We have only ever heard good reports from our daughter about the things that she has done and the interactions she's had with staff and children. We feel that our daughter has been safe and happy within this establishment and would recommend Combe Down to other parents.

I can’t praise Guinea Lane Nursery and its staff enough. My son attended for 9 months once the nurseries reopened in 2020, and he always had a great time. He loved the staff and created wonderful bonds with them. They really engage in fun activities and really helped my son grow in confidence. The nursery itself is immaculately clean, organised and they prepare fresh food every day which provides a really varied and delicious range which also helped my son try different things. The daily reports are great and their overall communication and support throughout the pandemic was faultless. Great nursery all around, would highly recommend.

We have loved the app which shows photographs as well as keeping us up to date with how his day is going, what new foods he is enjoying etc. (Thank you for accommodating a vegan toddler)!

Both children have gone through the ranks at Guinea Lane Nursery over the course of the past six years and I can honestly say I couldn’t have done it without them. The team there are so friendly and helpful - nothing is too much trouble and they are very responsive to the needs of both parent and child. The nursery itself is set up in such a way as to benefit from the sight and sounds of many children but still keep them in small groups for very close care and observation by the staff there. Wholeheartedly recommended.

My son started at Combe Down nursery in the baby room and is now in the preschool room and preparing for school.

The staff at the nursery are nothing short of outstanding; from the management and carer team to the in-house chef.

My son has needed a lot of extra help over the last year and not only have the team provided the support, they have gone the extra mile in creating their own resources, teaching Makaton and keeping us regularly updated with his progress.

And the food - the chef is great and really creative. The amount of work she puts into the menu and into themed food for Christmas, Halloween or easter is inspiring. Guinea Lane is a great place for your little one!

The nursery is amazing the staff are very welcoming and professional, my child started in baby room and is now in toddler room. She really enjoys coming in and always comes out with a smile on her face, she has always done different activities such as painting cooking and messy play plus she really likes the food and eats it all. Would recommend this nursery to anybody who is looking for a setting for their child.

The staff are brilliant, always happy in the morning and engage with us straight away and give a daily report when collecting the children of exactly how they have been.

The variety of books and toys are great for helping children develop their playing and learning. My children have both developed new skills and the work the nursery staff do is brilliant.

The nursery is fantastic. The staff are very professional and are extremely caring. We feel like they know us and our son very well and they know exactly how to care for him. This is reflected in the settling in process, where it did not take him long to settle in. We would recommend the nursery to everyone.
