We couldn't be happier with the care our little one receives at The Hunny Comb Day Nursery in Countesthorpe. As first-time parents, leaving our baby in someone else's care was a huge step-but the amazing team at Hunny Comb made the transition smooth, reassuring, and genuinely comforting.

The infant room is calm, clean, and thoughtfully set up to support early development. The staff are incredibly nurturing and attentive-they take the time to understand each baby's unique needs and routines, and we can tell our child is truly cared for and loved.

We get regular updates throughout the day, including photos and notes about feedings, naps, and milestones, which really puts our minds at ease. The communication is excellent and the staff are always approachable and happy to answer any questions.

The School Manager is quick and swift in responding as well as the day are teachers, two in particular are super supportive and look after my little one really well. Thank You.

My daughter started attending the nursery when it opened in September 2024. She loves going to nursery! The nursery is clean and tidy and the staff are friendly and professional! They interact with the children really well! I love the fact that the nursery emphasises security! This is important for me to know my child is safe. I can also access my daughter's daily report and it enables me to see how she is progressing. I raised a concern and it was addressed promptly and to my satisfaction! The nursery follows a curriculum and an activity plan is provided weekly for parents to know what activities the children will be engaging in! From what I have observed, the nursery is well-led and governed. I would recommend the nursery as a good place to take your child.

We would give The Hunny Bee more than five stars if we could thanks to their amazing staff. Our daughter has been going to this nursery for seven months and we couldn't be happier with everything they do. The staff are all so friendly and kind and helped her settle in very quickly and she loves going. The rooms are so well set up, as is the outside space. They do lots of different developmental activities with the children, their communication is excellent, it's always clean, and the team go over with fabulous seasonal activities and decorations to make things extra special. We would highly recommend The Hunny Bee.

This nursery is outstanding for many reasons. My daughter has attended the nursery since she was 1 year old and is now in the preschool. It is her second home. She absolutely loves being there and the small setting makes it a place where the children are attended to and well cared for. She absolutely loves the preschool and the new extension makes it a great learning space for the children who are getting ready for 'big school'. She always gets very upset when she finds out it is the weekend or school holidays and she isn't able to go. I have always felt that the staff including the management team are so caring and they pay attention to what my child needs and also give advice on even the smallest things e.g. if they notice she is not her usual lively self or that she needs to develop skills in certain areas. No question is silly and they are always patient and helpful. I'm glad we chose The Hunny Pot and would recommend to anyone to consider it as first choice.

We have been absolutely delighted with the nurturing environment. The staff is exceptionally caring and attentive, fostering a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The classrooms seem engaging and fun, packed with activities that encourage learning and creativity. The facilities are well-maintained and safe, providing a great space for children to play and learn. We feel fortunate to have our son attend such a supportive and outstanding school!

I've had a lovely experience since my son joined in August. They made the whole process of joining very smooth and comfortable. It can be a stressful time sending your child to nursery but they did everything to make me feel better. I get regular updates and love the snapshots they send. He loves nursery and has come on leaps and bounds. I don't have to worry about anything, I'm confident he's being looked after.

Fantastic overall experience. My son has been here since day 1 of the nursery opening and has been in 2 different rooms due to age groups with different staff. All of the staff have been amazing and he absolutely loves his time here. Communication has been great, the app is beneficial as it keeps you up to date throughout the day with photos/meals, etc. Would 100% recommend it to anyone. We've seen a huge improvement in his development over the last few months. Some of the meals I wish I could eat there!

A really lovely nursery, caring staff with great communication via the app. My little boy loves the different activities on offer, the time in the garden and the food. I love receiving updates about his day regularly with photos too.

My wife and I love Hunny Hive... Our daughter and son both attend, my daughter is now in her 4th year and final year and our son has just started 3 months ago. They love the staff, the activities, the food and the lovely atmosphere there is at Hunny Hive. I can speak highly enough of the staff and the passion and commitment they all have with every child. You can tell a huge difference in both our children after each day, learning and taking part in the wide range of activities on offer. Overall 5 stars. Well done.

Absolutely and genuinely first-class. The team are very gentle and kind, they made our baby's start to nursery such a positive experience. We feel confident to leave our son with them and reassured that he is getting the best care in terms of nurturing, mental stimulation, diet and personal care. Each room has lovely facilities, the staff seem to take real pride in ensuring they offer the best for the children. The environment is always clean. They offer lots of activities for the children which rotate daily with story times, rhyme times etc. so plenty of variety and always something to stretch their minds and encourage new interests. Our son has learned lots in the couple of months since starting at Hunny Bee which I'm sure is testimony to the dedication of the team. It's made my transition back to work after maternity leave a smooth one. Would definitely recommend Hunny Bee Nursery.

Both my children have been enrolled since November and I have noticed a big difference in how well they are developing and become little people. Especially with my youngest, the girls have done an amazing job in bringing her along in such a short amount of time. Definitely helping my mummy worries! Everyone is lovely, kind and most importantly my children are looked after and have fun!

I don't have the words to express how good this nursery is. My son has come on leaps and bounds since starting and they really do work with you and support you every step of the way. I am so glad I picked this nursery and if I had to go through this process again I would pick this nursery over and over again. All the staff here are so friendly and amazing but I have to give a shout-out to two staff members in particular here, they really have stopped me being a stress head when he has not been well and have been so reassuring and supportive.

Lovely holiday club, very reasonably priced. They do lots of great activities and my son really likes going there. On a main bus route so easy to get to. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Great place to send your child.

Overall, the Hunny Pot Nursery team has provided a fantastic foundation for our child's early education. We are so grateful for their dedication and support.
